“We visited the Metro Diner located on Pineville-Matthews Rd. for the first time. We were greeted by Amber, the Kitchen Manager. She was very friendly and suggested specific items for us to order. My husband and I ordered the signature chicken and waffles, croissant French toast and our girls ordered the Belgian waffle and bacon omelette with hashbrowns. The chicken was delicious! The waffles were fluffy and the croissant French toast was wonderful. My daughter's omelette was filled with thick and crispy bacon. We'll definitely be back!“
“Please please please don't shut down I grew up in Coulwood and this is one of the LAST historic businesses standing I'm in kings mt now but miss it soooooo much I'm driving down for breakfast tomorrow love those hash browns and the booths are so fun.“
“Whenever I and a friend come here, we always get the Farmers Omelet and the Northern Omelet, which is always breakfast food since they serve breakfast all day. Very great place to go for anything you'd like to eat as they do have a big menu to choose from, everything is great on it! The food was awesome, the service was great, and the atmosphere is soothing!“
“I have ordered take out here several times. I have enjoyed each meal. I have had the burger, club sandwich and the grilled chicken chef's salad. The salad was delicious and filling. All items were cooked to order and fresh. The staff is pretty friendly. I would highly recommend you give this gem a try!“
“Food is always delicious. Depending on how busy it is there may be a wait. Also they sell out of some items at times(probably because of how good they are. People buy it up). Overall I give it 4.5 stars outta 5. I go here everytime I'm in Charlotte ??“
“The bartender brian, is the most laid back person ever. Maybe alittle reserved but if you get the chance to get into a conversation with him, hes a pleasure to talk too. I appreciated everything about his conversation and service! Will be back again.“
“My Son and I came thru Charlotte from Columbia, SC. We stopped in for some breakfast. The atmosphere is cozy with music playing which is nice. The food is good. We really like the menu, lots of variety.Stop thru and grab a bite. You won’t be disappointed.“
“The cocktails and punch were excellent. Service was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed shareable dumplings and duck, pickles, shrimp ceviche and fries and ranch. Entrees of scallops and golden rice, wagyu beef, tagliatelle, and Amber Jack fish were all excellent. You do pay for what you get.“
“Wonderful winery off the beaten path manufact you would not know this place was there unless you were looking for it but well worth the time to make it part of your destination for that day...... People are awesome here family owned which I like..... During the summertime they have lots of wonderful things and events going on.... Death will be back next year during the summer.....“
“Always a good spot! We always get great service! They have a big variety of the menu options making it hard to choose from, but I love the bissel breakfast and swap regular pancakes to cinnamon roll pancakes...definitely worth the upcharge. Good serving sizes to share or save left overs. I also love the hashbrowns. They have a great seasoning...every other place I go to I add ketchup to my hashbrowns, but these are perfect plain! We always have a good experience and love coming here!“
“I came across this breakfast restaurant while searching for a place that serves delicious, home-style breakfast. I am delighted that I decided to dine at this establishment; the food is reminiscent of my great grandmother's cooking. The restaurant is quite crowded, but the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting this establishment for a delightful breakfast experience. Although it may not be the most luxurious or well-known place, the quality of the food is truly remarkable.“
