“My wife and I have eaten at Dawn's Cafe twice so far and we plan on eating there many more times. This place is a hidden gem. The service is fantastic and the food is great. Today, I got barbecue and I will have to say, it was the best BBQ I have ever eaten.“
“We are in town and wanted a good locally owned brunch place. Google led us here and it was on point!!We arrived on a Friday at 11 and got a booth right away. Server was quick to come by. Wide selection of breakfast and lunch items.French toast was perfect. Hash browns delicious. Not greasy. Husband got the eggs, grits and Hash browns and ate every last bit. Country ham was just like his Mom used to make. This is a must visit for yummy local food. Not fancy.“
“A truly hidden treasure. Amazing food and very reasonable prices. Absolutely the best boneless wings around other wing places need to take lessons from these guys. Very friendly staff and great relaxed Christian family atmosphere. If I could give 10 stars I would.“
“I ate there 2x, for dinner I had chicken fried steak mashed potatoes, green beans, banana pudding with the best vanilla shake I have ever had, my waitress was so wonderful I went back for breakfast I made a phone order to go with a tall mid age woman she was sweet on the phone and in person I had a smash burger, chips and sweat tea, I forgot the tea and had to go back in just to meet the worse waitress this place has she was dumb as a box of rocks. I told her I didn't receive my tea the receipt was in her face on the bag but she was so into the tablet she ignored me until the nice waitress was passing then she start saying I DIDN'T KNOW. How dummy? I just told you and the receipt is right here. She need to be cleaning bathrooms and parking lots customer service is not her thing.Parking: I was in a big rig and had space to park in a lot next to the diner“
“The reason I give it a four is The place is very nice with all the decorations and the old music! . Been here couple times but some the the times I been there the waitress would be in bad mood and act angry not sure why, but otherwise it's pretty nice there I recommend going there for some breakfastKid-friendliness: Employees wave back or smile back at you❤️Wheelchair accessibility: At the door there is a slid thingy(forgot what called-) for it make it easier for people in wheelchairs“
“Me and my boyfriend actually just left from here, and it was fantastic! The food was absolutely perfect and cooked amazingly, it came out surprisingly quickly, considering my boyfriend got ribs, it was very affordable ($25 bucks for two is GREAT especially in this economic climate lol), and we had a very sweet and knowledgeable server, her name was Heather. She was always checking in on us, filling up our drinks before we even knew they were empty, and just generally being a fantastic server. We are definitely coming back!“
“A classic Greensboro spot that locals have been going to most of their lives. It has been known for good diner style food while offering some additional add-ons that can mostly be found at higher priced restaurants. The breakfast options are endless and the pancakes are buttery and delicious.“
“It is an old school restaurant with great food. They have a menu with a lot of choices including a great breakfast selections. They also have a buffet line in which they serve you.On the buffet they offer 4 meat choices and eight or ten vegetable choices. I had Country style steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and greens. It was one of the best meals I have had this month. This is a great southern style restaurant with excellent Mediterranean choices also.Go and check it out!“
“Food is great, service was awesome, downside is the water tastes like chlorine so it makes the tea also taste bad. They probably need a water filter system or need to replace a filter. Bathroom could use a good clean as well, hit water didn't work in the bathroom.Vegetarian options: Have plenty of vegetarian options just have to not order the meat with that particular plate.Kid-friendliness: Not a kids birthday party spot but fine for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Is wheelchair accessible but will need to have help opening front doors.“
“Great food, great experience. If I could give more stars I would. My family and I have been coming to the diner for almost 20 yesrs. They haven't missed yet. Highly recommend the diner. Everyone here is nice and professional and friendly. Stacey, Brandy, and Aleise, Lisa, matter of fact all of them and “
“This is my favorite restaurant on campus. The burgers are fresh and juicy, unlike what you can get elsewhere on campus. The burrito bowls and pancakes are good as well. The boars head sandwiches are great if you need to grab lunch for later. Everything here is so good and it’s worth the drive/ ride on the shuttle.“
