Saw the good reviews and decided to try it out with our three kids. There really wasn’t a good point to the meal. It wasn’t good food, it wasn’t inexpensive, the only good thing was the server who did a great job. Maybe we just got an off night but we won’t be trying it again.
Cozy little place with excellent home cooked meals. Had the roast beef with sweet potato casserole and collard greens. They have lots of sides to choose from. Roast beef was very tender and quite flavorful. Recommend getting the french bread and not the cornbread. Cornbread was

John's is back in a big way. At one time I ate here once or twice a week for 15 years. I drifted off to other places. I had lunch and it was very good. Good vegies, great tasting meat. The place looks great! Great service. I'm going back for the deserts! Try John's again.
