“Very awesome mom & pop breakfast spot that me and my coworkers went to for lunch and totally enjoyed our meals & service!! I’m mad I forgot the servers name but I think it was Darla. She was brown skinned, braids, glasses, older. She was absolutely amazing & was very attentive & polite. I ordered the breakfast sampler with the delicious toast. Coworkers ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, club sand watch. Everything was great. Definitely recommend for a quick meal or even to go!“

The pricing on the food was extremely reasonable, the staff was very helpful when it came to recommendations, and the staff was extremely friendly.I had the Jumbo Cheeseburger (Double Cheeseburger) and it was really good. “I haven't been here since the 80s. but I was very impressed let me tell you. it's simple fare done right without breaking the bank. I watched my 80 year old mom devour her food, and she's a picky one. I can't wait to go back and try something else. it's a plain looking restaurant, but they do things right. tasty. I had hamburger steak with gravy and grilled onions. a side of mashed potatoes with gravy and a side of pintos.. oh man. tender, and juicy... good tea as well. I'll be back.“
“There hasn’t been a meal I’ve gotten at Carolina Family Restaurant that wasn’t absolutely delicious!! Maria and Gus never cut corners and each and every time I’ve ordered from there my food had been consistent and delicious! You have to try the Greek salad with chicken (the dressing alone is amazing), the big burger and fries and the meatloaf, mash potatoes and cabbage (omg) Maria is gracious and humble and the waitstaff is so friendly every time! I can’t say enough about this restaurant.“
“I have ordered take out here several times. I have enjoyed each meal. I have had the burger, club sandwich and the grilled chicken chef's salad. The salad was delicious and filling. “Super good! Only Sunflower Restaurant on Statesville is better. Portions are big some make sure your appetite fits or you're going home with some leftovers. Here's a few winners; Spanish omelette Pancakes Hash browns Grits Smoked sausage Service is friendly and fast but nothing compares to the service level at Sunflower. They do have some tables for larger parties and plenty of parking. Just be careful of all the construction going on. Seems like it's been going on forever lol. I'll be a regular...“
“On our return home, we arrived at the Charlotte Airport around 7pm, and found limited choices available. The 1897 Market was open and quiet and we were seated immediately. It would be a relatively pleasant venue, but on this evening there was a copious amount of noise emanating from an HVAC unit above. Our waiter arrived within moments, and we ordered a pizza to share. The pizza arrived quickly, in less than 10 minutes, and it was pretty good, which means it was quite good by airport food standards.Overall, we'd give this visit 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4 stars for the good service and the fact that we found passable food in an airport!“

“The best place to sit down and eat at Carowinds, especially if it's super hot or cold outside. Most other places don't offer indoor seating and if they do it smells. So, Harmony is the way to go when getting food at Carowinds. Even if you get it from another place and meet up with the rest of your group here. The food is hit and miss just like anywhere else at Carowinds (Bring back Chic-Fil-A!)The service is pretty good. They are usually nicer here than some of the other locations. Leonardo's is the worst for customer service!“

“I’ve had 3 meals there while traveling on business. This is an exceptional place for friendliness where so many people seem to be regulars and are called by their name. Chef T runs the kitchen staff and was ensuring everything got out fast and hot. I can honestly say nobody but Chef T has ever been able to cook my eggs the way I asked plus when I asked for crispy bacon, I got it. I even heard him in the kitchen telling the staff and it was right! Melanie served me the last time and she was as efficient and friendly as they come and provided lots of attention to all her customers. I do like that numerous servers ensured my cup of coffee was always filled. From preparing and serving delicious meatloaf and greens to sausage gravy and breakfast, they all work hard. And they do an amazing amount of takeout orders which I witnessed. Good job!“
