“An outstanding Asian cuisine restaurant. We believe it is the best in the area. We have been there numerous times to try different menu items. All have been outstanding. The menu is extremely large and almost overwhelming. The outstanding service personnel can help you navigate the menu if asked. We will continue to go back to try different menu items. Don't be afraid if the parking lot seems empty. They do a very large pickup service.“
“The place was nice and clean! The waiter was so attentive and kind!!! And the food was DELICIOUS!!! I had the fish taco meal which included refried beans and the fish was tender and delicious! I will be eating there again!!!Vegetarian options: I was pleasantly surprised with the vegetarian options.“
“Got a wing combo to go. The wings were great, lots of dry rub and sauce combinations available. Most seem to be a combo of a dry rub coated in a wet sauce. I love the option to select the cook (crispy, extra crispy, etc). The wings themselves were hot, big, and juicy with a nice crispy skin. The sauces were good and the hot has a nice heat to it. Unfortunately, the fries were disappointing. They tasted like they were reheated from yesterday. The ranch was disappointing as well. Not homemade, and in very small containers that the large wings don’t fit in so you can dip. The restaurant itself was strange, with a large open floor area with no tables in the center. Seems like a takeout place that doesn’t need that size of dining room. Will update this after more visits, the wings were great enough to warrant return visits.“
“This place is AMAZING - and we are SO lucky to have it right here!! I live in Knightdale, NC, and I work at another fine dining restaurant in Raleigh proper. Nothing against where I work, but The Depot prides itself on sourcing locally as much as possible (beef from Brasstown in Franklin, poultry & duck from Joyce Farms in Chapel Hill, fresh produce from Blue Sky Farms in Wendell) and presenting a fresh, chef-driven menu. These people CARE DEEPLY about what they're presenting you... Kevin in the kitchen as executive chef, Zach behind the bar with his knowledge of both classic and innovative cocktails, Chris as the FOH manager making sure you have a great experience... I'm always happy when I'm a late-in - or get cut early enough - at my restaurant so that I can stop by The Depot & have something sooo delicious close to home & chat with my industry peeps here. “Called in an order and when we picked it up, we could smell the food. The proprietor was there and enjoyed having a conversation with him. The hostess was so pleasant and she smiled the whole time which was so nice to see so late. Finally getting home and oh my goodness is all I can say. Whew I had to push myself from the table. Everything was hot and had so much flavor! FYI, those smothered chops were some kind of good!! Try it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.“
“Drove 9 hours from NJ to eat here again, had the Shrimp butterfly basket (just like last time last Juneish), not even staying here tonight as staying in Fayetteville and found this last time staying at Tru, on our way to Disney, but are on the way back so may be back on Friday.“
“Since they closed the one in rocky mount due to health concerns,,I haven't eaten at another mayflower since,,but the family wanted to go to the one in Smithfield,,I had my reservations about it but kept quite,,But I was really surprised, the restaurant was clean and looked healthy,,plenty of very friendly staff,food excellent,,so yes surprised I was,,and left full and satisfied“
“The atmosphere is dry, but what I ordered was great. I ordered the shrimp egg fu yung, crab ragoon, shrimp pai thai, house fried rice, and egg rolls. Egg fu yung awesome, shrimp pa thai was grood and not too spicy but flavorable, noodle could be larger. I love their house rice with peas, carrots, onion and all three meats, state egg, and shrimp egg rolls was cook nicely crispy and filling. I have never sat in, but always called in. I call way ahead because there is all ways a wait. Please be prepared for it. But the food is good. This place had taken me back when i first started eating great food like this. Don't miss the opportunity, you will thank me later.“
“This is probably our favorite restaurant - we always do lunch early on the weekend when we go here - Leo is our preferred chef we request - he is awesome - my wife called last night and talked to him and let him know it was my birthday today and we coming to see him - not did we only get a awesome meal and entertainment as always but to my surprise I got a gift bag, birthday cake, ice cream and got the birthday song - you all made my day - you are the best - till the next time my friend - and if you like a long Island ice tea top shelf you won't be disappointed - my girl there rocks“
“Husband & I tried for the first time today & we LOVED it!! Atmosphere, service & food was fantastic. Our server Liz was knowledgeable of the menu, helpful and super friendly. We ordered a signature combo that had shrimp, snow crab legs, sausage, potatoes, eggs & corn. With Liz’s recommendation we spiced it with medium heat house blend spices & it was absolutely delicious! We split this combo & it was plenty of food for 2 people. This place is great and we will go back again very soon!“
