“They have a wide variety of beers and wine available. Staff is always attentive and super nice and welcoming. They have darts, pool, and an air hokey table. They have bands, line dancing, and food trucks on occasion. The crowd that's attracted seems to be on the older side. Knowing where to park can be tricky if they are busy. Unfortunately, they don't have food on site unless they have restaurants deliver or have a food truck.”
“Food is always great. Wait time is being very underestimated near dinner time when in comes to call ins. I was told 30 minutes and the waited another 20 minutes in the store with several other customers who had the same issue. Dining area is always clean but is small and decor is dated and mainly suited for a quick bite at lunch.”
“Great little coffee and sandwich cafe. It's not a breakfast joint, really. You can't get a platter of waffles, eggs, bacon, and such. But you can get a variety of cafe foods, waffles all the time, and good coffee.Parking: There is a small lot across the street by the light, as well as street parking.”
“Food was surprisingly good don't judge a book by its cover! I ordered a pie to go then the wife decided she wanted to go inside and eat. She ordered the lasagna and it was very very tasty only critiques was 2 things--Too much oregano and wayyy too much sauce but everything else the texture and flavor was on point! Pizza too was very tasty and good quality cheese not stingy and very tasty also. Service was amazing very attentive and attention to detail. The ambiance was good nice music in the background not to loud just right and customers looked content and happy! We'll be back”
“I’ve only used the drive thru and typically get breakfast biscuits, drinks (sweet tea always good and has lemons) and milkshakes. Food is hot and fresh. Recently I substituted the folded egg for the fried egg on biscuits, it really makes it taste homemade. They don’t bother to tell you it’s a $0.60 up charge but worth it.”
“Love this place, been here at least 6 times and the owner is an awesome guy! The Leche de Tigre is the best I’ve had and I love the Chaufa. Had Lomo Saltado (beef) this time and it was great. Portions are plenty big always.”
“If you love homemade ice cream, this is a must stop. They only accept cash or check, so be prepared to pay with cash. They have over 100 flavors which you can taste before deciding what to order. You can also order multiple flavors in your cup or cone. No tips accepted, but the servers are efficient, friendly, and professional. If there is a line, it moves quickly. Ask the staff for suggestions if you are overwhelmed with all the options.”
“Unbelievable this place is amazing!! Food is amazing! The drive from the FL keys is worth it!!!Dietary restrictions: Allergy to gluten and this place makes gluten free food enjoyable”
“We heard of this restaurant from my parents and went solely based on the constant packed parking lot. When you enter you aren’t sure if you came in the right door but your met with the most hospitable servers. The layout and vibes are casual but clean. Our server was so attentive getting us refills on chips and drinks before we ever were close to running out. I ordered the Al pastor tacos that came out hot and delicious! I got the side salad that had cheese, mandarin oranges, tomatoes, and a vinaigrette that was perfect! Definitely would recommend this restaurant!”
“My husband and I have loved going to the Butcher's table for date night. We recently had a Rotary Christmas party there and the food was delicious, we had excellent service and the venue was warm and cozy.”
“We are new to the town, and when I tell you they provided top notch service from the time we walked in, I mean just that! As African Americans, they made us feel extremely comfortable and their loaded baked potato salad was ???!”
“We found Lane’s Seafood and Steak House tonight. Though we have lived in Harnett County for three years, we have never visited this restaurant until now. The new signs posted at the Old Fairgrounds Road/ Stephenson Road intersection and the NC 50 / Stephenson Road intersection are helpful to those who are still learning the area. The restaurant is refined but cozy, and our waitress ( Sheila) was super friendly and accommodating. The food was great. We tried the seafood ( I ordered flounder; my companion ordered fried shrimp). The bread coating on the fish and shrimp was light, crispy, and seasoned to perfection. The white slaw included a trace of pickle and pepper, which paired well with the seafood. The potatoes were served steaming hot and the butter melted instantly when applied to the soft and yielding potato. The only disappointment was the hushpuppy texture. The puppies were shaped more like strands than scoops, and the grease in which they were fried permeated the entire body of the hush puppy. The result was a dense and gooey bread. But there are so many recipes for hush puppies, and the patrons of this long standing eatery must like this one. We were content to pass on the puppies because the remainder of the meal was so good.We will return to try other options on the menu. We had a pleasant dining experience.”
“Okay. March 15th, 2024,...I took Lori and I out on a whim to a little Mexican joint just for the heck of it. Hole in the wall type of place...DUDE. This place is epic. Diego, our hosts/waiter was awesome. We got a super burrito and several tacos loaded.Everything was made in house....and we could tell... The tortillas, the Verde sauce, everything. I'm a musician and I know that charisma goes a long way, and Diego is awesome. Lori and I had one hell of a time tonight getting a few things. The prices are reasonable.... however, the atmosphere with Diego and his family is what made the random trip most awesome..”
“Came across this place by accident and was so happy we did! Owners were super friendly and allowed us to sample different flavors. Ice cream taste fresh and is homemade! Definitely will be coming back :)”
“We drive almost an hour to Willow oak farm because it’s that good! The barnyard buddies class is so nice, my daughters look forward to it every week. The two teachers are amazing and great with the kids. And there is so much to do after class we end up staying the rest of the day! There’s an outdoor playground, indoor playground, ice cream, and farm animals. We just had my daughters birthday party here as well and everyone had a blast.”
“If you're looking for a hidden gem, look no further than The Redneck BBQ Lab. Despite its location next to a gas station, this place is a true culinary delight. From the moment you walk in, the warm atmosphere envelops you, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The service is impeccable, with staff who are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. And let's talk about the food – it's nothing short of spectacular. Every dish bursts with flavor, showcasing the mastery of barbecue techniques. Whether you're a Carolina Hurricanes fan or not, this is a must-visit spot. We'll definitely be back, perhaps even before the next hockey season rolls around.”
“They have absolutely wonderful food , it’s hot and fresh, fast service, always super nice workers with smiles, very clean establishment . I would highly recommend this place!”
“What a Gem in Angier! Great coffee shop with wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. There are expensive gifts all around for you to check out, or purchase, if you are anything like my wife... lol.”
“Food is amazing. It reminds so much of my childhood in New York minus all the noise. The owner is friendly and very welcoming and has amazing service. And if you want to taste a real New York hero, this is he place to try.”
“Stopped by coming back from Raleigh. The host was friendly and the restaurant was clean including the bathroom. I like to try street tacos when I visit a new Mexican restaurant so I tried the taco platter. 6 different tacos. Every one was good. Fiancé got a chicken quesadilla and she liked it. Definitely will stop again when I'm in the area.”
“The wife and i just wanted a sub sandwich, so we stopped at Jersey Mike in Dunn nc . I got the #13 Italian sub giant, and it loves up to its name. My wife got a roast beef with lettuce tomato and mayonnaise. We enjoyed our subs and look forward to going back .Vegetarian options: They did have a mestless sub with mushrooms and other vegetables on it.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly. They have a perfect size sub for kids”
“We used Daddy D's catering service for our daughter's wedding. Food was excellent. The wedding guests had the highest of compliments. Mr. Humphrey went above and beyond to provide the most excellent service. Easy to work and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly... highly.... highly recommend!!!!! Thank you Mr. Humphrey and staff for your hard work!”
“Best place in Dunn to get an old fashion cheeseburger or hotdog. Everyone is always friendly and service is Great. I would highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed.”
“I would highly recommend sherry's bakery they have literally the best food and the best deserts I love them ? kids friendly wheelchair ♿️ accessibility they are friendly ,helpful they definitely know how to bake and cook there foods and they don't burn ”
“We drove from rural south ga to tour Dunn North Carolina. Such a great downtown area. We enjoyed this coffee shop so much - great atmosphere, such a taste of class, and hospitality was awesome . So much to see close by, like Jeffrey Surles Designs and Bryant and Co. We love downtown Dunn!Be sure to stop by and enjoy this great coffee shop.”
“Seems like a very nice lady I got some strawberry cheesecake and a couple of other things that I will be trying over the next day or so My only disappointment was she serving ice cream but did not have whipped cream for a Sunday if that's what you order???”
“Knew this place was going to be good when i saw the local police officers here! Service was quick and staff was super friendly. Coffee and treats were also delicious! They also had a nice selection of coffee to bring home, i grabbed the Key-Lime Chaos from Bones Coffee Company and can’t wait to try it!”
“The food was made fresh and tasted really good. I was surprised by the varieties of seafood that they had. Their prices are decent and it's not a long wait for your food. Unfortunately, they only have a smart seated waiting area. There is no space for dine in.Parking: The parking lot will destroy the bottom of your car if you have one that sits low because of all of the huge potholes that you have to get around.”
“Although it's easy to look past while your driving, Zapata is a hidden gem in this small town and a must if you enjoy Hispanic food. The staff remember you, the food is great, and the atmosphere is very inviting. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite places to dine with my wife!”
