“We looked for little coffee shops to stop for a quick bite on our way to Pigeon Forge from Florence SC and went out of our way to stop here. Totally worth it! The service was amazing. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich hit the spot. The iced coffee was good too! If we are ever back this way, will definitely stop here again!”

“I've eaten at Mountainview more than a handful of times and I will happily go back again and again. The staff is very nice and hospitable and the food is the kind that makes my day better.I recommend the pulled pork, the brisket, and the ribs especially. The sampler platter for both their meals (Shane's Sampler) and the sides/appetizers (Nibblers) are the way to go if you're very hungry or have multiple people and are a perfect way to go.”

“I work a few miles and someone told me to try them. I love salads so I got a Greek salad with chicken. Oh wow it's the best ever. So so good. Artichokes , feta, black olives great greens and the dressing is wonderful. I'm officially addicted. I also love the staff. Kind and unapologetic in what they stand for. It's refreshing.”

“Calverts is that little neighborhood place that you grew up eating at,that had simple yet good homemade food. It has that feel to it as well. I have been eating there for at least 10 years and have never had a bad meal, the staff which includes a working owner are always gracious and welcoming. Love this place!”

“This restaurant has the best tacos I have found in the Southeast. The salsa bar is also very nice.My previous review is seven years old above.4/29/2024 the food is still great a beer is back on tap. And the bar area is much improved. Still the best tacos in Columbus. Although competition in the southeast and surrounding counties have much improved!”

“YUM. YUM. YUM. I can still taste the piece of carrot cake I bought. (It was a huge piece). If you want a little drive in the country to nowhere in particular, this has to be one of your stops along the way. Doughnuts, cookies, cakes, breads, jams to fill your heart's desire. My dad (he is 87) loves the doughnuts. A little pricey, but worth every bite.”

“Wanted a calzone for my birthday today. I ended up with a 3 pound hunk of ricotta and cold mozzarella with 4 pieces of pepperoni in the middle. The dough was still gooey and not cooked through. A disgrace ??”

“The food, the SERVICE, the ambiance, all of it was impeccable. The waitress/bartender was amazing. So kind, easy to ask questions to about drinks and food and very receptive. I asked about mixed drinks and she was excited to tell me about them. I asked about drafts and bottles and she said what do you like and even brought out samples if something I wanted was out. I wish I knew her name however a great experience all around. The food was delicious, I had the crispy chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries and I enjoyed them thoroughly, perfect breaking on the sandwich, perfect seasoning, all the textures were just right and the fries were lightly seasoned to perfection.”

“UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!! Never thought I'd give a Subway a five star review but times are changin'! The bread was fresh and not rock hard for once, veggies were all fresh too. The five star is due to the new manager. Dude actually knows how to run a kitchen and cook! Here's the best part, he *actually cares* if you like the food or not! How amazing is it that Subway put someone in there who cares! Finally!(still no chocolate chip cookies, but we're getting there!)”

“I used to frequent Sidestreet Pizza & Pasta when I lived closer. I always loved the Eggplant Parmesan from there. It was always the best. Visited today again after 6 years and I have to say... it is still the best. My daughter got a Hawaiian Pizza, which she always loved. Great service and atmosphere. “Wonderful atmosphere, great server, delicious food and masterful cocktails. We arrived early to sit by the fireplace and munch on light appetizer tidbits while enjoying our first cocktail. The weather did not cooperate as the clouds obscured the breath taking view of the mountains from our intimate dining table. The background music complemented the stately vibe. We will return.”

“Brown butter bourbon truffle ice cream and coffee for my girlfriend and a banana split for me. The ice cream was smooth and the tasty, n ano will perfectly ripe but not overripe and they were plenty of goodies, nuts, pineapple and strawberries and top with the whipped cream and a cherry. All on the list of the things that we're not supposed to eat and it was most excellent.”

“If you like the buffet life, you will love the food served here. The buffet includes a buffet, drink and dessert for one price. They do not serve soda, mostly sweet tea/unsweet tea. It's a cool place where you can pick a room and dine there. We had a little situation with ants crawling on our wall and table. I alerted the waitress and a gentleman quickly came over with an ant pesticide of some sort. We decided to move, but soon after we saw another couple seated there? They do offer outside seating.”
