“Probably the best kept secret in Lake Lure. No idea why I had never heard of this place before. The best trout I’ve ever had. And people aren’t joking about the wedge salad. Just get it. Cocktails were mixed to perfection and desert wasn’t over the top…the perfect topper to a well balanced meal. Service was great too with Sydney (sp?).I would suggest more sweet to balance the savory of the charcuterie board. But otherwise the experience was perfection. Definitely making this a regular stop from now on.”

“Wish I could give them a million stars. When Lake House Restaurant messed up my wedding rehearsal dinner . We came here and they took my party of 30 ppl. They were great to accommodate us all. The food and service was great!!! They went beyond and above to make our night special. And now when we take trips to Chimney Rock we will make sure to give them our business. “We stopped in for a night cap.Late night amd there was a wedding going on so there were not many people in the bar. Our bartender was great and made a delicious long island. We chatted with him and the other bartender about bourbon and moonshine and weddings and the shark sightin at Lake Lure earlier that must have occurred why else would they shut the beach at 6??? “This is a regular stop for me. Not having a free standing Starbucks in town, this Starbucks is located in the Lake Lure Ingles supermarket. The coffee experience is always better than the super market experience. I have never understood how when you put an Ingles associate in the Starbucks area they become precessional, friendly and eager to help.Ingles needs all their employees to go through the Starbucks training. My dream is that some day I'll get my sandwich or cold cuts quick, efficiently and with a smile..wow”

“The view of the lake was beautiful! Service was fast and everyone was pleasant. The indoor dining was closed when we went but the bar and grill and outdoor seating was available. We were lucky enough to have been sat outside with the beautiful lake view from the picture. The indoor bar was older & very dark. I'm glad we sat outside. The food in the menu was very interesting but when it came out, they were all ok. Not bad, but just ok. We got the scallops & stuffed crab mushrooms for dessert and the house special steak... again everything was just ok. The drinks were not that great. But after a long day of hiking & for the lake view, it was nice.”

Also the lower deck was the perfect spot for listening to the music and people watching. I recommend Genevas Hotel and Tiki Bar to everyone. They are pet friendly as well.”

“Brown butter bourbon truffle ice cream and coffee for my girlfriend and a banana split for me. The ice cream was smooth and the tasty, n ano will perfectly ripe but not overripe and they were plenty of goodies, nuts, pineapple and strawberries and top with the whipped cream and a cherry. All on the list of the things that we're not supposed to eat and it was most excellent.”

“Very good food! We had lunch inside the restaurant. The back has a patio overlooking the river but there were many “carpenter bees” that are very intimidating due to their size and well, if you don't like insects, I recommend eating inside the restaurant. Good and fast attention.”

With more home-work & equipment supplies that you can imagine, there are lots and lots of every day supplies not to mention, wall coolers that are stock filled with more varieties of drinks and so much food and snacks to select trom too.I think the biggest thrill was to try "Champs Chicken." An integrated full service kitchen and seating restaurant inside Marathon Station! Make sure you go before 3:00 PM as closing time for Champs is right then! Their homemade bone-in fried chicken tastes marinated and has a delicious fried crust; very flavorful and worth the try I think. I know that I will be back again to this Champs Chicken and Marathon Station at91 NC-Rt 9, Mill Spring, North Carolina 28756. What a great experience.”
