The ice cream was smooth and the tasty, n ano will perfectly ripe but not overripe and they were plenty of goodies, nuts, pineapple and strawberries and top with the whipped cream and a cherry. “I went to tryon equestrian center location on Mother's Day and ordered the wings and ribs. I was told they are the best by the counter person. I said I'll be the judge of that. Well, to my surprise the wings were the best I've had since moving to NC. They were meaty and so flavorful. Smoked and then slightly fried with the sauce. I will nodoubt go back and get many more and look forward to trying other meats there.”

“First time on the TIEC campus, chose Campagna for Sunday lunch. Chicken Caprese sandwich and Chicken Alfredo were very good and we have plans to try the wood fired oven menu. Big takeaway was our waitress Raylin who made a very good meal so much more. She was not only courteous, helpful and attentive, she had a pleasant personality that left us knowing we should go back. You walk in and you are immediately greeted with a wonderful "Howdy" and treated like you are the next "Super Star" to walk inside this miniature Super Store! With more home-work & equipment supplies that you can imagine, there are lots and lots of every day supplies not to mention, wall coolers that are stock filled with more varieties of drinks and so much food and snacks to select trom too.I think the biggest thrill was to try "Champs Chicken." An integrated full service kitchen and seating restaurant inside Marathon Station! Make sure you go before 3:00 PM as closing time for Champs is right then! Their homemade bone-in fried chicken tastes marinated and has a delicious fried crust; very flavorful and worth the try I think. I know that I will be back again to this Champs Chicken and Marathon Station at91 NC-Rt 9, Mill Spring, North Carolina 28756. What a great experience.”

“Probably the best kept secret in Lake Lure. No idea why I had never heard of this place before. The best trout I’ve ever had. And people aren’t joking about the wedge salad. Just get it. Cocktails were mixed to perfection and desert wasn’t over the top…the perfect topper to a well balanced meal. Service was great too with Sydney (sp?).I would suggest more sweet to balance the savory of the charcuterie board. But otherwise the experience was perfection. Definitely making this a regular stop from now on.”

“Very good food! We had lunch inside the restaurant. The back has a patio overlooking the river but there were many “carpenter bees” that are very intimidating due to their size and well, if you don't like insects, I recommend eating inside the restaurant. Good and fast attention.”

Great service, didn't have to wait long, very clean. Ramp is on the side for wheelchair access and walkers. Steps in the front are pretty high.”
