“We had excellent service on Thursday 12/14. We had 7 people at the high top tables in the bar. The waitress was awesome and didn't miss a beat. The food was good for the price. We got the filet special. The music was extremely loud and we couldn't hear each other talk. It could have been taken down a notch or two and still be loud. But they dud seat us in the bar. I just felt bad for my dad who has hearing aids. I will be back and wished I could remember the waitresses name because I would love to request her again“
“We love this place. It's a small pub that also serves terrific food. They have lobster, crab and shrimp rolls plus several non seafood choices. When you visit, try the dog dip. It is their twist on pimento cheese. It is awesome. The quality and quantity of food is over the top. Our northern friends say the cheese steak is close to what they get when visiting family in PA. Some nights, they have a live band. You can look at their FB page to see what is happening.“

“I would like to share my family's experience at a restaurant we visited today. We're the Hall family and It was our first time there, and I have to say we were quite impressed! Our waiter, Mark, had a great sense of humor and was very polite. I also appreciated the manager, Ms. Amber, who introduced herself and was extremely sweet and professional. The atmosphere was just perfect - very positive and family-friendly. We had such a good time that we're already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!“

“It was our 35 Anniversary and My son and daughter in laws 2nd anniversary. I wanted to take them somewhere with a variety. My husband and I are new to NC. I researched so many places for hours, my husband loves fried catfish and hasn't had it in a couple of years. Big Daddy's was recommended. We were immediately greeted by several wonderful ladies. The service was on point, and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be going back. Thank you too all of the employees that made our special occasion amazing“

“For those of you who aren't old enough to remember what a "fish camp" is, this is it! 3rd generation of family ownership. Scratch-made tartar sauce, onion rings slaw and hush puppies. Catfish fillet meal is strips, not a full slab. Still delicious; not greasy, and batter was not over-salty. Service was a slow for the size crowd. Server was managing 4 tables with total of 7 people. Never refilled my drink. Was offered more hush puppies, but they never arrived. Also got the wrong slaw: ordered sweet and received sour. I'll come back for the good. food, but probably lean towards take-out next trip 5 food and 2 star service.“
“I enjoy visiting Port City Club. It is back in the cut of a neighborhood. Reservations don't hurt, especially at the dinner hour as the restaurant gets crowded on weekend nights. They have their own parking lot. Anything on the menu is tasty and their drinks are pretty awesome as well. If you have questions, ask your server. They have live music on Saturday nights.“
“We loved this place! When I went in to ask if they had an outdoor area where we could sit with our dog, they happily opened up the covered patio just for us. The food and drinks were great and came quickly (I highly recommend the shrimp and grits!) and the service was friendly, efficient and impeccable. We’d love to return if we’re in the area again!“
