“Had an exceptional dinner last night. The peppercorn steak dinner salad! Passing through on our travels and highly recommended for dinner. And we will tell you the same! Worth the short drive from My Airy. Great wait staff!!! We met the owners and they are fine people and have a great service for you. Beautiful grounds be sure to read their story! TIP! ONLY drive your car leave the RV camper on your site or look for the correct entrance. There is one steep driveway. Great food and people. Also check out their art work! I’d give 10⭐️ if we could“

“Was freezing inside. Guess they keeping temperature down to help kitchen staff or for whenever the temp reaches 80° today. But it was freezing inside at 1pm. Food and service was good. Looked like only one waitress, but she was working it!“

“Walked in was pleasantly greeted by the hostess and was immediately seated. Hostess said your server would be with you shortly. About 5 minutes later, our server came to the table and took our drink order. Got our drinks, and took our order. About 6 minutes later, the server returned with my bowl of chili and the fish bite appetizer. The chili was luke warm, and fish bites were hot and fresh. About 5 or 6 minutes later, our food was brought out, and my sandwich was hot, but the french fries were luke warm. Our server came back once to refill our drinks.“

“We visited Shelton Vineyards on Friday Nov 17. We ate at the restaurant. Amanda was our server. It was an exceptional experience! The ambience was warm and inviting. The food and wine were delicious. The service was superb. Amanda was courteous, pleasant and extremely attentive to our needs. Amanda made sure that we were very satisfied. She went above and beyond to take care of us during our time at the restaurant. We'll definitely be back and would love to have Amanda as our server again.“

“We had catering done for a rehearsal dinner at The Shiloh Venue in Lowgap. Food was absolutely delicious, great service, very organized and polite. The riblets and wings were a big hit. “I came in today for a quick lunch with a friend. He said the food was good here, and I believe that's a true statement. We were waited on by Juana, who was very nice and was always around. The inside is basic, but it's a home, small-town place that feels right. I ordered a chef salad and a side onion rings. The chef salad was ok. They have an in-house made bleu cheese dressing that is a bit different, kind of sweet, slightly pink. It's not bad, but I prefer regular bleu cheese dressing with the chunks. The salad was okay, kind average. The onion rings were great. Obviously frozen, they taste like onion rings from a chain burger and ice cream place that I visited recently, and they may be from the same source. I'd come back for sure.“

“A fun little spot in Mount airy. Lots of tourist. The food was good! But the best part was the friendliness of all of the people there and the fact that they had fresh cake out on the counter! I went for their pineapple bacon cheeseburger while my wife just had a grilled cheese. They were whipped upquickly and delivered with a smile!“

“The best homburgs and footlong coney dogs. I wish they would use the sauce they use on the hotdogs and make sloppy joes with it!!! That would also sale and be dynamite! Some of the same people are there every year that my husband and I come to from Florida. There's an older woman with blond hair that is so friendly and caring. We've seen her each time we come up to go on vacation. My husband and I look forward to the burgers and hotdogs and everyone there is so friendly.“

“While on a road trip with the family, we decided we needed a "sit down" meal.After using the Google, we rolled the dice and took a chance on The Copper Pot.We are so glad we did.The staff was lovely, the atmosphere welcoming despite being busy, and the food satisfied the soul. I brought along 3 kids and they were just as welcome as my wife and I.The catfish was great, and the fried steak was so soft and tender I didn't need a knife.The sides really shined, as the pintos were perfect and the collards you could damn near write home about.The whole experience was so nice, that we made it a point to stop by again on the way back.I think it deserves a mention that in this day and age, I fed a family of 5 here for less then $60 bucks. We didn't go cheap either, we had fun with the menu.If you're in the area, and looking for a sit down meal that leaves you with a smile, then please give this place a try.“

The atmosphere was what I love and remember about Libby Hills in Greensboro: the comfortable feel, the substantial sticky bottles of sauce at the table, the scattered beach decorations, and the lingering warmth of large deserted rooms that I can only assume are used for parties. I am honored to have been a guest at the last remaining Libby Hill. Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed my visit. I hope this place never closes.“
