I stumbled on this spot when looking for a place to work, drink coffee, and order a little something to eat in the Durham area. So thankful I did!! I arrived around 730 AM on a Friday, very quiet so o was able to pick where I wanted to sit. This restaurant has the QR code ordering service where you can start a tab alone or with a group and place orders as you go. I have always adored the food at Press. It is still delicious. That said, today was my first time going with the new digital ordering system, and I have to say, it was a challenge. It definitely diminished our usually stellar experience, and may even lead me not to come back again. I am not against these kinds of ordering systems on principle, however, I am not sure that the execution matched the intent in this case.

This place was SO wonderful from the food to the server to the experience. All around amazing. Our food was fantastic, as well as our coffee. And the best part: they gave us a blanket since we chose to sit on the patio rather than wait for an inside table! Literally the nicest people working here.
