“I have been to this First Watch location but I am very pleased with service I received today was outstanding! Christy was very professional, efficient and resourceful in getting my order ready and served. The food was fresh, well prepared and delicious.Good restaurants for nice meal.“
“Fantastic Indian food, among the best in Durham. We’ve eaten here several times, dishes are distinct with fresh flavors, not too much reliance on ghee. Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s clean and well lit for eating in but really designed more as a takeout, fast casual atmosphere. It’s our new go-to Indian takeout place in west Durham.“
“This place was SO wonderful from the food to the server to the experience. All around amazing. Our food was fantastic, as well as our coffee. And the best part: they gave us a blanket since we chose to sit on the patio rather than wait for an inside table! Literally the nicest people working here.“
“I love the Mabel, which is a honey lavender latte, It is so good. BUT today I tried the orange Shortie (I cannot remember what they named it exactly) but it is absolutely one of the best coffee drinks that I’ve ever had in my life. The orange flavor mixed with the pink Himalayan sea salt it’s absolutely divine. If I could, I would drink it every single day. I’ve been wanting to try the Aphrodite, but it’s always sold out. Maybe one day!“
“I typically go at least once a week to experience "acai bliss"! They even let me create my own "Aggie Bowl", with my own selection of ingredients.Cierra, Zaria and staff are excellent, and Anissa (the owner) is the best!I would definitely recommend stopping by for a sit-down, or take out!Wheelchair accessibility: Saw a man roll in as I'm typing this review“
“Great place with a great environment. I didn't eat anything but the espresso is very well done with fresh roasted coffee beans. The girl that served me was very nice and patient. The staff was nice and the place very clean. Food lack some good protein options but that's easy to improve.“
“Omg, best country breakfast ever! Very low key place with homemade everything. I had the Grits bowl with eggs, black beans, and salsa over yellow grits, otherwise known as polenta. Yum! Big slab of homemade country sausage, double yum! Hubby had the herb biscuit with eggs and country sausage. The biscuits are HUGE, soft, and flaky. Delish! We bought a bag of 4 for $6 to take home for another day. I'd love to go back and try their lunch menu-also looked good. The restaurant is humble and homey. Tip- You order inside at the counter, pay at the register, and then they bring your order to your table. Plenty of parking and a large outdoor patio for those with their furry friends. Highly recommend!“
“I’m a regular at this coffee shop! It’s a great atmosphere to get work done during the day. Lots of outlets. The baristas are really nice and take the time to get to know you. Nice big windows to people watch or a more secluded spot in the back. I love coming here!“
“Order the Tigerz Woodz!! I repeat, ORDER THE TIGERZ WOODZ!!!! The most incredible Arnold Palmer you’ll ever have in your life. My dad has been ordering nothing but Arnie palmers when he goes out for the past 20+ years and he claimed this is the best one he’s ever had. The mango pie drink was also absolutely exquisite ?“
“Really excellent spot. I only know about this place thanks to a good friend who lives in Durham, but I'm glad that he introduced me to it. I've been here a few times now and it's always been a good experience. Great coffee, food, add baked goods. Will definitely be back!“
“Great find. Tucked away in a back office building but huge room and huge menu. Everything was fairly cheap. I just got a bagel and coffee but was enough to fuel me through some work. Service was super fast too. Stop by here instead or Starbucks if you’re in a nearby hotel.“
“Fast casual vibes with high quality, homemade taste. Everything tastes fresh and the daily specials are actually often great deals. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options as well, and staff are very willing to make adjustments to anything.Staff are very friendly and patient, though service can be a bit slow during the lunch rush.“
“My skepticism of biscuits flaked away the moment I tasted the biscuit, fried chicken, pickle sammy. It was worth the wait. I am a sauce lover and thought I should have ordered extra ranch, but everything was balanced perfectly. Hot honey drizzle bumped it to my #1 spot for a chicken sandwich. Also really loved the option to sit outside at the picnic tables and enjoy fresh air on a beautiful spring day.Dietary restrictions: My friend doesn’t eat dairy and the person taking the order checked with the cook to make sure everything would fit her dietary needs.Kid-friendliness: A bunch of little ones were happily playing outside in the picnic table area while parents could take a breather or socialize. Seemed like a very safe environment.“
“The cashier greeted me as soon as I stepped in the door! She was very friendly and in a great mood. The coffee station was clean and the coffee was fresh. My bacon, egg and cheese crossiant was delicious! The home fries were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I will be back!!“
“I’m a sucker for cute shops and this one is at the top of the list. What a beautiful shop! First there Lavender Latte is perfection ? it’s smooth and creamy and if you add extra Lavender you won’t regret it. I also like to grab an Ice coffee w/ Lavender syrup when the weather is good. My son loves there Cheddar biscuits that they have everyday where you can just grab and go. I treat myself once in a while to the chocolate bar and it’s always fresh. I haven’t tried much of the food to be honest but I shop here often. They have everything you need for ANY occasion, and any person. Actually there selection of Black children’s books is one of the best in the city. My son try’s to get a new book every time we visit. I really appreciated seeing all the black faces on books because sometimes we are left out, and seeing my son’s face light up when he saw someone who looked like him was all the more reason to shop. From plushies, to candles, to wine, to cookbooks, to candy there literally is something for everybody. In addition to the store just being super cute it’s in America Tobacco campus so after you shop and grab food you can lounge on the grass or rocking chairs and take it all in. Bravo ?? to this shop and I would definitely suggest this place for out of towers to locals.Parking: I’d download the app to pay for parking. Super easy!Kid-friendliness: Perfect for the little ones.“
“I found this place because of the coffee options, I keep coming back because I can't find a single menu item that isn't amazing ?. To go orders are great but take some time to sit with friends, family, or your partner for a meal and just enjoy the atmosphere and energy of the place. I never have a bad experience and if you can catch the schedule you might see a live band playing.“
“Gojo was a fun experience. The spices in the food were creative and fun. The coffee was good. I was told that at one point in time, Gojo made a bigger deal with the coffee experience, however, the pot, cups, and flavor were wonderful and memorable. This is a come again location. Just really loved the food.“
“My friends and I think that this is some of the best coffee in Durham. It’s a cute little coffee shop with nice hours that opens early in the morning (perfect for a reward after a run or bike ride or trip to the farmers market just up the street). My favorites are the vanilla latte (hot or iced is great) and the ham and cheese croissant - my favorite in Durham too!“
“This place is a gem for ramen/noodle soup lovers. As someone who really enjoys spicy ramen, they do the spicy mala ramen so freaking well. I've gotten it at least a couple dozen times. My review of the spicy mala ramen (it's all I get):-The best parts as a spicy ramen lover is the super flavorful spice in the broth, the spice is not just chilli oil spice (although they use chilli oil to spice it up I believe) because the broth is so flavorful. It'll make your lips go numb/tingle but make your mouth explode with flavor.-The actual ingredients are incredibly fresh. The scallions taste pungent like they were just cut, the bamboo shoots are INSANE, I've never eaten bamboo shoots so fresh, tender, soft, juicy, yet slightly sweet and savory. I like the shoots better than the meat. 9.5/10 for the add ons/ingredients. Bok choy, nori, and egg are all fantastic, but you see that in a lot of other good ramen joints. The bamboo shoots were better than any joint I've tried.-The meat is decent. Is great for the broth and still has good tenderness, although can sometimes be a bit fatty. I'd say the meat is 7.5 overall. Good but not great. This dish is a 10/10 experience if you like spicy ramen. The chicken curry ramen from noodle blvd on walnut street is the only comparable tasty spicy ramen in triangle“
“I've written comments before that no one read. I get responses like, "So glad you love Clean Juice....." You're NOT listening, so I don't expect a response or any kind of acknowledgement. Being a Christian & trying to support a Christian company, I would expect more than a pat on the head when I write a response.I've ordered the Chocolate One in 4 different locations. It has changed. One was so bad, I couldn't finish it. What has changed? Please read your responses or don't ask.Julie Dean Hickory, NC“
“? One of my favorite lunch spots in RTP! It's small so get there early. Deep menu, great specials, and free cookies on Fridays! I kind of wish they were open on weekends so I could share it with friends who don't work nearby weekdays.“
“This place reminds me of home. I am from a small town that has lots of restaurants like this one. The food is amazing and fresh. Mr. Walter (Tater) provides great and friendly customer service. The food is made to order, and they have all the things that makes a complete Southern Country breakfast. The wait was not long at all. This was my second visit and I definitely be back again.“
“This place is great!!I ordered the cajun shrimp & Grits. The shrimp were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I did have to add a pinch of salt to the grits, being originally from Louisiana the salt and seasoning is important. I say this because others may not need salt. But the flavor was great.I ordered the eggs ? over easy with pork sausage patties, collard greens, and the waffle. The eggs ? ? were cooked perfectly. The collard greens were good as well. The sausage patties were great. The waffle was a bit too cakey, thick, and rubbery for my liking. The mac n cheese ? was amazing. The cheesy grits were amazing. The candied yams were amazing as well.Overall, a great place to eat great food!Parking: First come first serveKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Randomly came to this place with friends for a quick bite & some tea. The breakfast melt was delicious as well as the Southern Black Girl tea. It was not too busy which gave it a cozy vibe on their couches, I loved it. Will be a go-to spot for sure.“
“Have you ever heard of reasonably priced museum food? Me either. We stopped by today during one of our visits to the museum of life and sciences (note this inside the museum so you'll need to be a member or pay for admission to access this restaurant). We ordered fries and they were enormous and came within a minute of ordering and they were under $4. (This price is so pleasantly surprising because we recently went to a zoo where a side of fries costs $8 and chicken tenders and fries costs $18.) The fries weren't gourmet but just solid fries like you'd get at most fast food places or amusement parks/zoos. We ate these inside but they have ample outdoor and a glass closed in space without air conditioning, too. We have eaten here many times. It's next to the butterfly house and across from the train and stationary caboose. We usually pack our own lunch so that we can eat in the car but it's nice to know we have good alternative options.“
“Had to feed a crowd of teenagers in a school play for dress rehearsal. I was able to use the catering menu to order individual boxed sandwiches, sides and dessert for a reasonable price. Saladelia printed individual names, menu option and food allergies (if any) on each box. There was some confusion around delivery or pick up of the order, but they sorted it all out with a smile and wonderful service. Will definitely use the catering again. Thank you.Dietary restrictions: Very accomodating on dietary restrictions.“
“Experienced Beyu Caffe today for the first time, today. The food and service was excellent. We definitely enjoyed our meal. I had the Beyu Classic breakfast with grits and smoked sausage. Everthing was excellent! My wife and I wish Darian and his staff much success in the future.“
“Expertly made cortado and espresso with locally roasted beans. Given the abundance of great coffee shops in the area, I was impressed that this one exceeded expectations. Relaxed vibe and exceptional coffee. Plenty of seats with plugs in a large open space, but no extra comfy seating. Would come back.“
“Good Food for Decent Prices especially for a cafe at a Museum. I was totally surprised when I feed 7 people beyond decent food for 70 dollars at a museum. And we didnt all have burgers. We had more gourmet choices with great sides and the portions were very big. The kids meals even came with drinks. If you are spending the day at the life and science center know that this is the place to eat and it will fill your belly without breaking the bank.“
“It is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants. They offer farm-fresh ingredients and fabulous breakfast cocktails. Always a treat!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options or your order can come made to order.Kid-friendliness: Best pancakes for kids!“
