“Such a wonderful sandwich shop in Fairview. Relatively new ownership and they make the best sandwiches in town! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They make each sandwich with love and dedication. If you want subway tier food and service then this is not the place for you. They even started opening for breakfast recently. Warning: the cinnamon buns are very addictive. If you live in Fairview then you know how great this place is. If you live in Asheville, Arden, Gerton or any of the surrounding areas, it's well worth the drive out here. You will not be let down! (Oh and the prices are great as well.)”

“I love this local coffee destination!! It has such personality and uniqueness! I love the specialty drinks that you can only find here AND they have gluten-free baked goods (I highly recommend the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffin). The chai latte is delish as well. I wish there were some more privacy seating for those who want to get some work done or those who want to meet a friend and chat … the seating is all in one open room, cozy feeling but open.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free baked goods ??”

“Fun ice cream shop, we came twice on our week-long trip to the area. Some hit or miss flavors - not sure if it was just a bad scoop but we had some with mix-ins that ended up just tasting like vanilla. The lavender and lemon blueberry flavors were our favorite. We loved the fun color changing spoons (this was possibly a major factor in the trip back, my husband and I are pretty easily entertained). Service was great and friendly even though we got there late.”

“This place was cool for everyone. Lots of activities for the whole family. They operate out of an old train car. All the details of this place were well done. I like the ode to a little disc golf. I am only giving four stars because the one beer I had time for I didn’t really like. Could be my fault but that was the only sample I had.”

“Always call in takes about 10 minutes to get a pizza. Or you can walk in. You can get all the toppings you want and double toppings the thin crust is the best and they do an excellent job there. I definitely would try $10 for a pizza with everything that you want on it. It's the same price one topping or 10”

“I'm giving 5 stars for the service because we didn't want for anything but the person did have the personality of a fencepost. The food, however, was crazy good! I had the shrimp and grits and it was one of the best breakfast dishes I've had in years. My Sister had the Southern Benny and and also raved about it. Really, really flavorful and perfectly cooked. The complimentary beignet beginner was a nice touch, too.”

“Sometimes I feel bad because I think I rate businesses too harshly, like maybe I just expect too much. Then I come to places like this and I see what a 5-star rating restaurant truly looks like.Everything was amazing. Our server was on top of things, continually filling our waters and we never ran low. Our food was delivered quick and fully correct. I ordered the crispy chicken, and, while I'm not a fan of collards (my wife loved them), it was one of the best meals I've had. The presentation was incredible and truly a 5-star dining experience.They don't have a kids menu, but since we really wanted to come here, we called ahead and they graciously said they can make something work. Our girls ordered chicken tenders and fries and they said it was the best (direct quote) chicken tenders they've ever gotten! I can't give this place higher praise than that.Richard, the owner, stopped by our table at the end of our meal and we had a great conversation about their story, their travels, and what led them to open this place that used to be a run-down gas station. This place is the definition of 'excellence' that so many restaurants promise but fail to live up to. “We had a wonderful experience at Fahrenheit Pizza. We brought some family with us from out of town. We had pizza, garlic knots and even tried their cannolis! The food was all very delicious, especially the pizza. And the staff were all very kind and inviting, especially Conrad. “Visited Asheville for a few days and I ate at this location twice. Once to dine in and the other was carry out.The service and engagement from the staff was great! It seemed like a place that gave permission for their staff to be themselves, while focusing on the customers experience. We felt comfortable and at home.We got there before a line formed. It seems to come in waves. We were there mid week around 6:30p. Nevertheless, we ordered our food, got seated and the food began to come out as it was ready.The good was very good. I tried the chicken and waffles to play it safe initially. The waffles, eaten immediately while hot was the best way to go for me. Very tasty. The chicken was also pretty good and flavorful. Well seasoned. Not just that seasoning on the outside but not on the inside foolery. I could’ve done with a little less breading but still good. I went with the chicken fingers type pieces to last on top the waffles.The sides. Maaaaaaaaan!!!!Loved the sweet potato, corn casserole and Mac & cheese. Loved em! Best House Margarita in town! Impressive sports bar. Even the chairs are works of art -- hand painted wood carvings and metal imprints of primitive scenes throughout. We've frequented all the local TexMex venues for 30 years. Orale's Bar & Grill is the stand-out best in Asheville.”
