Staying at the hotel the Gate City Sports Grill is attached to. Not a ton of options after a long day working so we tried the Sports Grill. Pleasantly surprised. GREAT service both nights. Had the Gate City Burger and loved it. Burger was outstanding and fries were perfect. Definitely exceeded our expectations and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying at the hotel or in the area.
Been here twice now and both times the food was pretty good but service was just mediocre. They were not busy on either visit, in fact the dining room section was completely empty. I ate here because of convenience to the hotel and you can get a decent meal at a decent price.

I went on a Sunday evening so it was super quiet. The food was decent, I got a burger and it was alright. It did take a long time to come out, but was reasonably priced as far as hotel restaurants go. Brianca was friendly and provided great service.Edit: had to come back and take it from 4 stars to 3.
