I arrived just as they opened and ended up spending about three hours here sipping away and enjoying my caffeine on a Sunday morning. Arriving this early meant that I did not have a parking challenge which is a concern later in the day.I started with a cortado, which is two shots with steamed (not foamed) milk. After spending the night in the shadiest hotel I’ve ever stayed, I was looking for a comfortable spot to just chill with my son for a bit with a nice cup of coffee. Tate Street Coffee House did not disappoint! The vibe is chill, and welcoming, and the coffee is amazing. Admitted I am a little boring with my coffee, just a good old cup of black with cream and sugar, but now I wish they were much closer to St. Louis!
