“Delicious coffee and a yummy muffin this morning. It’s a wonderfully cool coffee shop with an amazing mission to help support the lives of blind and visually impaired people in our community. They also have office/study/meeting space you can rent!“
“This is *the* place; look no further. I travel a lot, and very much enjoy scoping out local coffee shops with a story, a vibe, good energy, and above all, good coffee, when I travel. Vignette delivered! I met the two owners, who were delightful and friendly, who gave me the inspiration for why they named their coffee shop, "Vignette." I could spoil it and tell you here, but where's the fun in that? Perhaps just go ask yourselves. (Also they made a tremendous shakerato, which, IYKYK).“
“This place is chic and is the perfect place to add a bit of sophistication to your traditional coffee date. Not only is the coffee good but the pastries are too. You cannot go wrong with their croissants! The baristas are well-dressed and courteous. Truly a class act!“
“I was looking for a local coffee shop that was friendly, had good coffee, clean, and a good work environment. I can safely say that this lovely place exceeded ALL of my expectations and I cannot wait to come back again! I highly recommend coming here! :D“
“How have I not written a review of the Sage Mule until now?! We love this place and my only complaint is that they aren't open more hours ha ha ha. This is simply one of our favorite places to go eat outside at. They will almost always have the outside seating available, which is really rare here in Greensboro (sadly). The staff is always friendly and the food is always good. Our go-to is the blue plate special for brunch but you can't go wrong with their brisket and any number of other specials.“
“Went with a friend to try some crepes. Lovely atmosphere, large menu, lots of coffee and tea options. The (I'm assuming) owner was very nice, and the woman at the register was sweet and put up with our indecisiveness lol. I definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely be coming back. I recommend the Nutella and fruit crepe!“
“If I could rate this place 10 stars I WOULD! I was shopping around for a new home for healthy shakes and I was so lucky to land to this place! Ms.Erica and her Daughter Liz was sooooo sweet and made me feel like I was family! Very informative of the shakes and what I desired. This establishment has a forever customer in me! The photo displayed is the Butter Pecan 32oz Shake! I love it ⭐️“
“J'adore! Rainy day, jazz music, coffee, makes it perfect to work on my studies, I don't really into the last piece Borough locates in the corner of double oaks B&B, you can sit on the first floor or outside if the weather is nice, you can order both from inside and outside, how convenient! If you choose to stay inside, you can enjoy the classic interior of the house and some jazz music. Outside it lovely too, but it's not an option for this weather for me. Coffee is always good! I used to get it from the weather spoon museum location on UNCG campus, baristas are always nice and are always ready to tailor the drink to your taste, and they are patient. I will definitely come back again!“
“Coffee shops are my jam. Thrive is such a cute and quaint place I'm so glad I stopped by. THe barista was very sweet and gave great recommendations. The space was open and full of natural light. I love the plants and cozy vibe. Will definitely be back the next time I stop through downtown Greensboro.“
“Every time we go there’s friendly staff, clean space, cool decor and delicious snow with Oreos and icecream on top. We have come several times, coffee is always great as well.Kid-friendliness: There’s lots of Lego sculptures to look at. My daughters enjoy looking at the art on the window as well.“
“This coffee shop offers more than a great cup of Joe. The baristas are wizards with their signature drinks. I had the Sophya, and it was great! In addition to the coffee, the shop is decorated in a way that makes anyone feel comfortable. It's a great hangout spot too!“
“Kendra was knowledgeable and eager to assist me with a drink selection (the honey vanilla cinnamon latte with oat milk was so flavorful)!!. She gave a great nod to the blueberry bread, which was fresh and made with love! The entire atmosphere was a vibe and will definitely be a go to; as it should be for you as well!“
“We had an amazing experience at the downtown Greensboro location! It was our first time in, my friends had taken me out to kick off my birthday week. We all ordered crunch cheesecakes off the suggested menu, but they happened to be out of the apple pie flavor I ordered. The owner, Tanya, came out and gave me her number to call and let her know the next time I was coming and she would fix me a free one since they were out! I have never had someone offer to do this and it was the kindest gesture. My friends and I ended up sitting and talking long enough that the apples were finished cooking and Tanya made me a fresh one to take home! It was a wonderful surprise and so greatly appreciated! I would recommend this amazing shop to anyone and everyone! The atmosphere is so welcoming, it feels like you dropped by a family member’s house for a treat. Please go visit them immediately!“
“Consistently great service, great speed regardless of line, and wonderful food & coffees! Their maple waffle sandwich is INCREDIBLE (I almost always get two...) and then a Caramel Sunrise (hot) keeps me feeling great through almost the entire day.“
“I was looking for a place to get loose teas. They have a nice little shop with some of the most friendly people working there. I'm just getting started with something other than pre bagged tea and they talked me through many aspects. They have many other items besides just tea, so I would recommend checking them out. There are two tables inside to sit and have a cup there and a pastry. Not a huge pastry selection, but a nice place to talk to some friendly staff and have a cup of tea.“
“Went to home grounds this past Saturday morning and was so amazed at how good the coffee was. Starbucks has nothing on this place and the workers were so friendly. I got a the salt and ice or something like that shaken espresso and a peach green tea and was extremely happy about both of them. Haven’t stopped talking about this place for the past 3 days! A must try for sure!!!“
“Amazing coffee shop with nice vibes in downtown Greensboro. So glad I stopped in. Top notch customer service actually offered for me to taste test the coffee brew before I buy. Wow! Had a beautifully crafted Cortada (really was) and delicious bagel. So good that I opted for a brew to go. Will certainly return.“
“My latte was delicious and just as I ordered! I'm usually a little hesitant to try new places since I only drink sugar free but I was pleasantly surprised with their selection and the taste! The staff was very friendly and the entire shop was very clean. I liked how spacious it was so there was plenty of room for us to find a table with an outlet. BONUS about this location: they have a secluded meeting room which you can reserve!Parking: Located in shopping center so plenty of parking.“
“Cute little boutique/coffee bar/gift shop with a huge selection of home decor, fall and holiday stuff and cute gifts. The barista was very nice and helpful, and offered us complementary mimosas for celebrating the second anniversary! Definitely a must go stop for snacks, coffee or tea if you're not in the mood for shopping.“
“I've lived in Greensboro all my life and never once thought about going to this place. It's a hidden Gem here and I never thought about checking this place out. Originally I discovered this on Instagram, I was surprised about it. There is parking right by it and my boyfriend and I wanted to see what this place had in store. We tried the White chocolate Raspberry coffee. The lady behind the counter was the sweetest we stepped in and were immediately greeted she let us try the coffee first to see if we liked it. And the inside of the shop made me feel cozy it was like I was walking into a home with the smell of coffee in the air. Really good and I highly recommend it cheap and affordable but also delicious!“
“Trent and crew were fantastic to a trio of us who wanted beverages. Then an hour later, we couldn't say no to pastries. There was Irish soda bread that tasted like my grandma's. It was a lovely time and great place to just chill and enjoy.“
“Homemade poptarts were great! So was wheat sourdough. But the most fun part was Alex did foam art on my Peppermint mocha coffee. The coffee was great and it had a beautiful leaf in foam. He said he was learning foam art so lets give him lots of practice. Food is great- customer service is outstanding!“
“One of the best kava’s we’ve ever had. Loved that with the way they brew their tea so no added syrup is needed. Highly recommend the crush (for experienced) amazing service, good atmosphere. As a former kava bar manager I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of products and knowledge of the kavatender.“
“If you are looking for a sweet indulgence that is subtle and will not overpower you with sugar and chemicals, consider visiting Dolce&Amaro. Owned by Italian expats, they serve beautifully made cakes and pastries that are all natural and made for the European palate. Quality coffee made right. We are a regular customer and will continue patronizing this wonderful bakery. Without a doubt, this is the best bakery in Greensboro, and I've found nothing like it in either Charlotte or Raleigh. We have brought countless out of town guests to this place, and everyone falls in love with it. Special mention to all the gluten free items, THANK YOU for making them available. Now, if only they also had some sugar-free options...Dietary restrictions: Fantastic selection of gluten free sweet treats.“
“My crew was enjoying the temporary ice skating rink downtown when I needed to warm up a bit. I walked over to Lawn Service located beside LeBauer Park. I ordered a hot chocolate at the bar. The bartender was super nice. She took my order right away and I received my drink quickly. The hot chocolate was very good. Just the right amount of chocolate and texture. Yum! It came in one size and it was a bit small, but it was tasty and was good enough for my visit. If I stayed longer, I would love to have a bigger cup. If you don't sit at the bar, there are tables between the two restaurants or you can sit on a bench along Davie St or closer to the park. I will definitely visit this location again. They had a great selection of beer and wine. Their menu also had a selection of baked goods (waffles, cookies). Stop by! Great addition to our downtown area.“
“After spending the night in the shadiest hotel I’ve ever stayed, I was looking for a comfortable spot to just chill with my son for a bit with a nice cup of coffee. Tate Street Coffee House did not disappoint! The vibe is chill, and welcoming, and the coffee is amazing. Admitted I am a little boring with my coffee, just a good old cup of black with cream and sugar, but now I wish they were much closer to St. Louis!“
“I’m always on the hunt for nice and spacious coffee spots to work from it, this place is so far the nicest around downtown. Nice chill vibe, good wifi and great deco. A couple sandwiches on the menu wouldn’t hurt. I tried a bagel with pesto cream cheese and that was so spot on!“
“To be honest here, it's just for my wife. I don't drink coffee and there isn't enough non-caffinated tea options that taste good for me to buy anything there. As for her, she loves a little specialty coffee every now and then.“
“Decent cup of coffee and a cool ambiance. They have a schtick, and that's fun. The place probably needs some renovations but it seems like they got new windows, so thats good. The coffee isn't too fancy in terms of roast or profile, but it's a fresh cup and they have a variety of options available. And what's more, they have a community feel which makes this place special.“
“It wasn’t my expectation. Duck donuts are tasty horrible, expensive and donuts fall apart when i grab it and quality doesn’t look good and too sweet, the donuts shape looks bad! I won’t come back and won’t suggest friend to go there anymore! But service was good, donuts quality needs to improve!“
“Really enjoyed my first visit to Akoko during their soft opening! The space is beautiful. Soft greens and browns makes for an inviting atmosphere and there's plenty of room in case there's a crowd. The little girl working the register was so helpful with making my choices with me. I went with the brown sugar milk swirl with honey boba, garlic soy chicken bites, and the Che coco leaf dessert. The boba was everything I want in a boba tea - so yummy, I want to try more! The chicken bites were a bit overcooked but still really good! The Che was unlike anything I've ever had before. The Vietnamese dessert contains red and white beans which is a first for me but at least I can say I tried it! I can't wait to return to try more boba off their menu - next time a fruity flavor!“
“Been to this location several times and it's by far my favorite in the city. It's very spacious and clean. Love the music. The staff is friendly and they pay attention to other people complicated orders (mine is so basic). Their ability to tend to the online, indoor, and drive-thru orders is impressive.“
“The morning shift is always consistent and friendly no matter how busy, the employees seem to always be in a good mood and willing to help with whatever you need (including a nice back massage if you’ve had a rough start to the day). The only complaint I have is that They don’t sell chicken nuggets but I can look past that. The barista Noelle is a beautiful and bubbly girl that always finds a way to make you smile, she gives off coolest cat in the litter box vibes don’t tell her but I might ask her to marry me.“
“This is a relatively new Starbucks. I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks inside another store, or any restaurant in a store, but I often go to this Target, and I find this Starbucks not too bad for one. There is one located in the other Target at New Garden that I like better because it feels more like it's own store since it goes deeper inside. Usually, I sit at Starbucks to draw and have a nice drink, and this one is great because you can draw the people as they pass bye in Target. A great place to take a break and relax when shopping“
“great server. Had to wait 15 minutes to get a grilled chicken biscuit and I was the only 1 in line insideSaid there was a wait time 4 to 4.5 min. and to sit down inside and they would bring me the order.Awesome order person though. I was requesting to get my money back and then they handed me my order which was 15 minutes. Other people came inside and they got their orders. I also ordered a hashbrown.“
“Located by the golf course within the Grandover Resort, this spot is ideal for grabbing a bite to eat or enjoying an alcoholic beverage. With seating available both indoors and outdoors on the patio, you can choose your preferred setting. Service is generally decent when it's not too busy, but depending on the time of day, it can get quite crowded, leading to slightly slower service. I opted for a bacon cheeseburger with a side of fries, not much room to mess that up.“
“The staff are the kindest people ever! When you join the rewards program, you're given enough points to redeem a free drink. Tons of different drink options to pick from ranging from smoothies, energy drinks, iced teas, juices, shakes and coffee. I recommend the iced caramel macchiato if you like sweeter coffee. Shop local! It's worth it!“
