Drinks were very strong. Food was decent. Brisket Mac and cheese was decent but not as good as the other reviewers said. The best part was the ribs and the cheese and bacon jam appetizer. Was disappointed the blueberry cobbler was not served hotter with the ice cream all melty, that’s how I alike mine served. The house salad was disappointing—overpriced and not as generous a portion . . .

DAPH was great! The selection of cocktails and wine were very good. The menu had a pleasant variety of bbq, southern, and modern selections. The deviled eggs, roasted oysters, and pimento cheese board were highlights of the starters. We found the fried chicken to be too salty. However, the ting of spice in the bbq sauce on the ribs was really good. Overall, we had a great meal and really nice experience.

In a word, disappointing. They seem to try really hard to make it seem like a city chic dining experience with a casual flair the food is somewhat mediocre and the staff sort of acts like they’re doing you a favor letting you be there. I know it seems like the “hip” place to be but honestly, I haven’t been impressed.
