I would typically recommend Shogun, as they have great Sushi. However today we had horrible service, to the point we walked out. We arrived at 11:20, well before the lunch rush (there was only 1 other table with customers). The hostess sat us directly beside the other occupied table. The waitress came and took their order and returned with their drinks. Still no one came to our table. Waited 10 minutes with still no service. I love sitting at the sushi bar with chefs Ken and Charlie. The offer a great sear tuna appetizer and their sushi rolls are fantastic. They are happy to customize a roll for me when I ask also. Below is a photo of my Shugie Roll, shrimp tempura roll with avocado and crap on top. Delicious. I also recommend the hibachi lunch meals. I got a bento box today and as you can see it is a full meal, including soup. My favorite sushi restaurant in Greenville.
We've been going here for YEARS with very few, small problems. Tonight was a deal breaker. My party of 7 made a RESERVATION for a private room well in advance of our arrival. The reservation was made because we had a couple group members who have serious anxiety when in crowded places. When we arrived (on time) , we were told that our reservation was not being honored because another large party came in without a reservation.
