“Despite the initial appearance when approaching the building (due mainly to the broken down gas pumps out front for the attached store) the food is phenomenal! The combination yakisoba is mouthwatering. The sushi is fresh, and the spring rolls and lumping are perfect. Everything here is authentic and exactly what you want when searching for a good Japanese restaurant. I would recommend over and over.Parking: The restaurant is in a brick building that is attached to a gas station. There has always been ample parking every time I've been there, also it's in a small parking lot so I could see how it might get cramped if there were alot of people at the gas station.“
“My husband and I went for a date night. We don't typically go to Havelock, but wanted to venture out and try a place we've never been before. The menu of the restaurant reminded us of a restaurant we used to like back in SC, so we decided to give this place a try. I'm so glad we did!! We started out with the Goyza and they were amazing. Delicious, crunchy, and plenty of meat. For our main course I order the Carolina Sunset Roll and my husband ordered the Steak Hibachi. When they finally arrived (a bit of a long wait for an almost empty restaurant) the wait was worth it! The portion sizes were large and the food was *chef kiss* Delicious!! The steak was soft and flavorful, the rice was cooked perfectly and the onions were tasty. Only complaint my husband had was there was not enough mushrooms (we only found maybe 5 or 6) and the rice to meat ratio was off. Next time he will definitely have to order double steak. As for the Carolina Sunset Roll... perfect!! I was a little nervous about the spicy mayo, as some places make it very spicy, but this one didn't really have any spice. It was super filling and tasty. After filling up and feeling stuffed, my husband had enough for a whole other meal, which we gladly took to-go. I can't wait to go again and have already started telling all my friends and co-workers about this place.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of seafood free options“
“BEST SUSHI EVER: This is my favorite place to eat hibachi and sushi! I hated sushi before I ate it here. Now I love it. Gage and the rest of the crew are awesome. The owner is amazing! If you have not been, go. If you have been come back. 10 stars!“
“Despite this location offering food and fishing products, I went solely for the purpose of sports cards. With that being said, despite this place having an unassuming appearance and looking relatively disheveled and unorganized inside, it was an absolutely perfect experience from top to bottom otherwise. There was an incredible selection of cards from hobby to retail to singles and everything in between. The person working, who I am assuming was the owner Lew, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the hobby. He took at least a half an hour out of his day to talk to me and help me find the right product, and seemed genuinely interested in what I was looking for.The best moment came when I was looking for some older cards from the New York Giants. He showed me several affordable options and when I took a guess at the price for each individual card, he could have easily taken advantage of my estimate - which was much higher than his final suggestion.I would go back here any day and highly recommend you doing so if you are into the hobby at all.“
