“We had an amazing apertivo on the terrace last night; the Dr. Pepper steak tips and fried onions, the bang-bang shrimp, the brussel sprouts, and the pretzels and beer cheese all were amazing!!! The other night we had the dagwood with aioli and the tri tip sandwich with chips and it was phenomenal take out. Highly recommend and to top it off this is all in a gorgeous location.“
“I love this spot! State-of-the-art wood fired pizza oven in a gorgeous deck house at the edge of the marina. Immersive and natural with indoor and outdoor seating, this location recently underwent renovations for a clean boathouse look. Amazing pizzas, great salads, second-to-none wine selection for the area and fun specials, super kind staff, and more. Kayak up to the dock, stop over after a tennis or golf match, host a party, or take out to watch the game. Never disappoints, highly recommend.Vegetarian options: I have had all of the salads and veg/mushroom centered pizzas and they are all fantastic.Dietary restrictions: Always option for vegetarian, vegan, Ns gluten-free at the Plantation.Parking: Huge parking lot by the marina villas and tennis courts, very accessible.Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome! Who doesn't love pizza?!Wheelchair accessibility: There are ramps all over the commodities at Albemarle for 5 star accommodation.“
“Have been twice, both times for the oysters and both times the food was great! I've tasted 252's oysters fried, raw, and steamed, and all were delicious. Same waitress both times, I wish I could remember her name...sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. It's the first time I've ever been asked, "Would you like the fried oysters cooked hard or soft?" and " Would you like the cocktail sauce warm or cold?" It's a great place!“
“We ate there 2 days in a row. On the 1st day, we had the buffet. Both of us had fried chicken, bbq, candied yams, mac and cheese. The next night, we ordered from the menu and had dried shrimp, ff's, cole slaw, and hush puppies.Parking: There is plenty of parking available for everyone extra large lot“
“A large home converted to a wonderful restaurant. Theme rooms containing three to five tables each. Great food.Parking: Large open parking on the house property.Kid-friendliness: The most kid friendly restaurant. They have a special high-tea for parent and daughter, with a dress up room. For adults, each room has a theme and contains only a few tables.“
“Finally have a designated breakfast spot I can go and get great coffee and inexpensive breakfast right down the road. Food is kick*ss and the people working there are what make the experience worth it. I hope jeannes cafe sticks around for years to come- its going to be my usual breakfast spot.“
“My husband & I have been coming here for 2+ years, since we moved into the area. Their sandwiches are THE BEST! FANTASTIC bread!! No other place in this area has bread like this! My favorite place to get a wonderful sandwich! My favorite is the Vegetarian, my husband's are the Carolina Cuban & Italian. We both love the crabcake sandwich. It's not on regular menu, but is, when in season, and available, a weekly special. Check it out. They only accept CASH.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at 309 Bistro and Spirits in Edenton, NC, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Let's start with the truffle fries - a first-time indulgence for me. Priced at $11, these fries were a delightful blend of crispy perfection, enhanced by the rich aroma of truffle oil, the savory bite of parmesan cheese, and the refreshing touch of fresh cilantro. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that left me craving more.Moving on to the main course, I opted for the Atlantic Salmon, priced at $28. The pan-fried salmon was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior that gave way to tender, flaky flesh. The sweet chili cilantro cream sauce added a tantalizing kick, perfectly complementing the delicate flavor of the fish. And let's not forget the sides - the baked potato and Brussels sprouts casserole were the ideal accompaniments, each adding its own unique twist to the meal.As for dessert, the homemade chocolate budino cake was the perfect ending to an exquisite meal. Rich, decadent, and oh-so-satisfying, it was the ultimate indulgence for my sweet tooth. But it wasn't just the food that impressed me at 309 Bistro and Spirits. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure every detail was perfect. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of.And let's talk about the ambiance - cozy yet elegant, with dim lighting and tasteful decor that set the stage for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a romantic evening out or a special occasion with friends and family, 309 Bistro and Spirits is the perfect choice. I can't wait to return and explore more of their exquisite menu.“
“I don't get a chance to go often, but when I do, it never disappoints! Went a few nights ago and got the Ribeye dinner. It was very good...perfect actually. The wait staff was super nice and attentive. I can't wait to go back soon“
