An awesome find while visiting Hickory for a convention. This is my third year going to McGuires. The food is great, get the fries which aren't normal French fries but sliced fried potatoes.

I had the Churchill, she had the Rachael. Both fantastic fresh pub sandwiches. Truly one of Hickory's hidden spots for a great sandwich and a cold beer. Friendly and helpful staff. Has the 'local watering hole' vibe and appearance.
