“My wife and I had the most wonderful meal and experience! The entire staff gave my wife special attention to avoid her allergies and were so kind and understanding. The sea bass was perfectly seared and so moist and flavorful and met all allergy requirements. The oysters came with the most unique and flavorful sauce. I highly recommend the scallop and octopus tapas each having a unique and most delicious set. We will certainly be back and highly recommend this restaurant.“

“We're in town from Philly for a wedding, and this place and staff were amazing! They embody what we've always heard about with southern hospitality. Kayla even went out of her way to indulge me on a very odd request to borrow one of the most amazing hats I've ever seen that will match perfectly with my suit that I'm wearing to a wedding this evening. Long story short aside from the amazing food a drinks here their hospitality was above and beyond, I'd recommend this place to anyone who comes to Highland NC. Oh almost forgot my wife loves quesadillas and she said there were hands down the best ones she's ever had. We even ordered some Togo to have after we get back from the wedding.“

“Over-priced but good food. It was a 30 min wait to get seated. We had a soup, spring rolls and the Risotto shrimp fritters. 16$ for three fritters that didn’t taste of any shrimp is ridiculous! The soup was really good though. Having mentioned on the menu that they charge 4$ for sharing food feels like nickel and dime-ing and a super cheap thing to do.“

“Great large indoor and outdoor area that is pet friendly. We tried a few beers that were good, not spectacular but good. We had the Brussels (really good!) and the smash burger (okay). We got to be out for the eclipse which was awesome after a great local hike as well. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.“

“Cashiers offers a number of good restaurants, though some may be closed in the off season. If you don't want to drive to Brevard Cashiers has options. The Ugly Dog pub is a great choice. Good food served fast. The place was not crowded in March. The manager made the rounds to check on us. My wife needed gluten free. They don't have GF bread ? but they offered to give her the sandwich on the plate, no bun. They have a full bar with two big screen TV's over the bar. If you are in the area and don't want a chain restaurant, it's a good option.“
