If you are in the cashiers area, maybe after a trip to Asheville, drive into cashiers and dine at Whiteside Brewing Company. The food is great and the staff are there to help. If you don't want a chain restaurant, it's worth the drive.
Very attentive and friendly staff. Each time I’ve visited, I sat at the bar open to the covered deck with the clear, temporary weather resistant walls (during Feb and March).Staff know their offerings well and ask questions of patrons to make suggestions and provide samples of draft choices. Great large indoor and outdoor area that is pet friendly. We tried a few beers that were good, not spectacular but good. We had the Brussels (really good!) and the smash burger (okay). We got to be out for the eclipse which was awesome after a great local hike as well. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
