“My take-out order was 100% correct. I love how you can order online and go pick it up. Nice staff. The dining area is nice and the ladies restroom is clean. I highly recommended the street corn under the appetizer section. The chips are hearty. I like their salsa better than other places. If you like cheese sauce, this is your place. Next time I will ask if they can do the steak medium to medium well. This time it was too well done and lacked flavor. On a previous visit within the last couple weeks, I got a taco plate to go and it was really good. These last two visits were better than my dine in visit about a year ago. I will definitely be back.“

“The food here is delicious! I always get extra salsa for the excellent chips. My favorite is the chimichanga (I pay a little extra and get shrimp). I always order takeout and have learned to call order in first to avoid a possible long wait. The gentleman at the front desk is delightful.“

“Here's is the deal I've eaten at a lot a of food trucks, tacos are my favorite food I've tried about 8 different resturants since moving back to lenior a couple months ago. So far this truck hands down has had the best tacos in the area... the pastor tacos had a great flavor not to sweet which has been the running trend everywhere... the asada tacos were also very good and the portions amounts were on point. I have a hard time with the spicy sauces as I grow older and I must say they had the best green Verde sauce (tomatillo based) that I've had in a hot minute I was able to enjoy the flavor with out being overwhelmed by the spice they get 5 stars and 2bthumbs up from this 5aco fiend!!! “I came here with two friends and it was a very average Mexican restaurant experience. Not good, not bad -- exactly what you expect when at a Mexican restaurant! I don't remember what I order but it was smothered in queso with avocado on top. It was delicious, especially scraping the inside part up with chips. Very delicious. The service was fairly quick so that was nice, but it generally felt like every other Mexican restaurant. Overall: good chips & good coca-cola & nice waiters!“

“We stopped on the way to Asheville. With a table for 7 we all enjoyed our food...the service was great and the outside covered area was beautiful. “My favorite Latin place to eat at in Hickory (technically Long View). I haven't tried everything on the menu yet but now that I work 5 minutes away I'll be coming here more. It's quiet inside and the food is great. My only complaint is I didn't order enough food! “

“This is not your regular Mexican restaurant. They primarily have seafood. The food was great and the portions are very large. The dry ceviche (instead of salsa and chips) was good, but all the salsas were too spicy for us. I'd definitely come back, as they have a good variety of dishes to try.“

“I have been coming to Tacos el Tio Chetos for a very long time. The waitresses have always been very good, but the one that has been with them for years is awesome. She keeps up with the full dining room and I have watched her take deliveries and bring me my drink at the same time. I am well known there now since I eat there often. It is the best Mexican food in the area by far, and the most authentic! The food is inconsistent in its preparation, but always has been very delicious. Just like I cook! Try the Norteno and the ACP, but their weekend special of Barbacoa is outstanding!“

“This restaurant has an upscale vibe compared to the El Paso kind of Mexican restaurant. It was beautifully decorated and the service was great. The managers made our short wait enjoyable. Families were there having a wonderful time. Food was great. I didn't like the churros they were fried way too hard. Couldn't even eat them. But I took them to go. Would have been recooked had I ate them there no doubt. The managers and staff were there to make sure my experience was one of enjoyment.“

“me and my boyfriend ate here yesterday and i wanted to brag on them as well as express how thankful i am for the kindness and compassion they showed us. i had ordered the amigos super which is something i had never gotten before. long story short, it was made with a ranchero sauce that didn’t taste very good to me. i am a very anxious person, and i hate complaining or being difficult in any way. our waiter noticed i wasn’t eating, and came by to see if everything was okay. i told him i didn’t like what i had ordered, and he immediately suggested a substitute for the ranchero sauce, took what i didn’t eat to the kitchen and brought my food back within 10 minutes and made sure i liked it as well before leaving our table. it was delicious!! i wish i would’ve gotten our waiter’s name so i could give him a shoutout on here. i highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn’t tried it. the service is fast, and they are all super friendly and understanding!! i’ll definitely be back in the future!“

“We enjoyed eating at Los Compadres. After we ordered, our food was served very quickly. I ordered a "Burrito Special" & it was muy delicious. My husband ordered his go to favorite, a "Burrito Fajita Tejano." It's HUGE & has everything he likes inside, steak, chicken & shrimp. He only ate half, so the rest went home in a to go box.Our waitress was very sweet & she was attentive too, before anyone could ask her for something, she was already on top of it. We came in at a little after 8 pm. As we pulled into the restaurant parking lot, we were looking for a parking spot, but there wasn't any on the right side, so we drove around the building & we couldn't find anything open. Everything was full except there were several open spots in the very front but there was a car there that was parked caddy wonkus & it looked like one of the employees was standing there talking to them. Because that car was blocking several of the open spots, we couldn't park there. I have no idea what the person in the car was doing & I'm not saying the employee was doing anything wrong. It's possible that the car was waiting for a take out order or something like that.I'm not sure if any of the spots that were blocked were marked "handicap parking,"but if they had just simply pulled into one of the spots instead of blocking all of them, we could have parked there. We drove back out onto the main road, then pulled back into the restaurant parking lot. There was a car that was leaving, so as they pulled out, we took their parking place.“

The cool thing is that they not only gave us all the food we ordered and had it ready within a minute (we were there at 1 am too) but they also tossed in 3 other food items that we hadn't ordered without any sort of explanation. I asked for a little mild sauce for the 4 soft tacos and 3 other things we ordered and the woman put in the most insane handful you'd have ever seen had you witnessed it. I counted the mild sauces out of sheer curiosity and to my amazement, this woman had supplied us with FIFTY-FOUR......AGAIN,(54) mild sauces. I'll never again pay for heat flavored seasoning without the spice again. After this encounter it'd be stupid to waste that money when I have a lifetime supply thanks to an altruistic Taco Bell employee.“
