“Fantastic food, we had the nachos! The service is also top notch with super friendly staff that truly seemed like they enjoyed working there- you don’t see much of that at other places anymore! “We enjoyed eating at Los Compadres. After we ordered, our food was served very quickly. I ordered a "Burrito Special" & it was muy delicious. My husband ordered his go to favorite, a "Burrito Fajita Tejano." It's HUGE & has everything he likes inside, steak, chicken & shrimp. He only ate half, so the rest went home in a to go box.Our waitress was very sweet & she was attentive too, before anyone could ask her for something, she was already on top of it. At the end of our meals, she asked us if anyone wanted our drinks to go. How nice is that? We didn't even have to ask like we do at some of the other restaurants we've been to.Parking: We usually eat at the Los Compadres in Hildebran & this was our first time eating at the Valdese location. We came in at a little after 8 pm. As we pulled into the restaurant parking lot, we were looking for a parking spot, but there wasn't any on the right side, so we drove around the building & we couldn't find anything open. Everything was full except there were several open spots in the very front but there was a car there that was parked caddy wonkus & it looked like one of the employees was standing there talking to them. Because that car was blocking several of the open spots, we couldn't park there. I have no idea what the person in the car was doing & I'm not saying the employee was doing anything wrong. It's possible that the car was waiting for a take out order or something like that.I'm not sure if any of the spots that were blocked were marked "handicap parking,"but if they had just simply pulled into one of the spots instead of blocking all of them, we could have parked there. We drove back out onto the main road, then pulled back into the restaurant parking lot. There was a car that was leaving, so as they pulled out, we took their parking place.“
“On walking in it's very inviting.. we had a very friendly waiter and the food was delicious.. ordered their special Casabrillias tacos, two carnita tacos and one Pastor taco.. all was wonderful .. don't miss trying everyone of the salsa choices they were ALL remarkably good.. can't wait to go back with hubby!“
“Here's is the deal I've eaten at a lot a of food trucks, tacos are my favorite food I've tried about 8 different resturants since moving back to lenior a couple months ago. So far this truck hands down has had the best tacos in the area... the pastor tacos had a great flavor not to sweet which has been the running trend everywhere... the asada tacos were also very good and the portions amounts were on point. I have a hard time with the spicy sauces as I grow older and I must say they had the best green Verde sauce (tomatillo based) that I've had in a hot minute I was able to enjoy the flavor with out being overwhelmed by the spice they get 5 stars and 2bthumbs up from this 5aco fiend!!! I will be ordering here again!“
“I love this place for their wide selection of foods, and very attractive prices. When working abroad, I look for places for lunch where I can save money. This is one of my favorites, much more delicious than Wendy's, and easier on the wallet too.“
“I've spent quite a bit of time in Mexico over the years and, while I like many of the local Mexican restaurants, I've yet to find one with the authentic flavors I crave. Until today. Mi Molcajete is a real treat and has a broad menu of authentic and flavorful dishes. We were pleasantly surprised and had great service, incredible food and lots of left overs. If you like trying new things and want an authentic food experience go now to this place. ¡Buen provecho!“

“A great spot to stop for some nice Tex-Mex!Place is always rocking with guests!A bit noisy due to the crowds, but very manageable.Portion sizes are huge, service is quick and personable, and despite then restaurant being at capacity, the wait is always minimal.Prices are fair as well!My only gripe is that being given a thimble sized bowl for a salsa bar is ridiculous. When did this behavior get normalized?!?! You can’t even put a chip in the bowl to dip!“
“Restaurant was clean, service fast and food was hot and tasted ok. Everything was going well until I was asked to pay at table. Waiter asked if card or cash and I said debit. He then runs card through handheld. I noticed 4% credit card surcharge and explained I did not use a credit card and it is illegal to charge for debit, as it's considered same as cash. He stared his English wasn't good and couldn't understand. I called the NC Consumer Financial Compliannce department to alert them. Restaurants need to understand they can lose the ability to accept cards if they continue this process.“
“Finally stopped by this little taco joint a couple days ago and got chicken tamales and pork tamales and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food....it was excellent and I highly recommend El Senor De Los Tacos !“
“The staff is on point here boys and girls! Service with a smile and the food to back it up! Well done. I went 25 minutes out of my way on Friday to hit this little gem of a food joint! So glad I did! I didn’t catch the first guys name at the front of the line plating the bowl, but if everyone had an attitude like this guy, the world would be a better place! “The best place in Morganton for authentic Guatemalan food. Everything is made from scratch (including the tortillas) and is delicious beyond imagination. After you eat, you can shop their grocery store, home to the highest quality meat and seafood I have found locally. Don't be intimidated if you do not speak Spanish, they will help you order and their staff is bilingual. The menu also has pictures. Plus, you can use your phone and Google anything you need to translate. Mi Pais is an absolute must try and will likely become your new favorite.“

“Food was what you could expect from your 'run- of- the-mill" Taco Bell restaurant. The cool thing is that they not only gave us all the food we ordered and had it ready within a minute (we were there at 1 am too) but they also tossed in 3 other food items that we hadn't ordered without any sort of explanation. They also aren't shy with the sauce. Not even a tiny bit. I asked for a little mild sauce for the 4 soft tacos and 3 other things we ordered and the woman put in the most insane handful you'd have ever seen had you witnessed it. I counted the mild sauces out of sheer curiosity and to my amazement, this woman had supplied us with FIFTY-FOUR......AGAIN,(54) mild sauces. I'll never again pay for heat flavored seasoning without the spice again. After this encounter it'd be stupid to waste that money when I have a lifetime supply thanks to an altruistic Taco Bell employee.“
