“This is our go to sushi restaurant in chapel hill/ durham. The sushi is consistent and delicious. The sushi chef is one of the best I’ve seen in this area. It’s always superb sush. My particular favorite is going during their lunch special , which includes weekdays and Saturdays. My children love the sushi and we get a couple of the triples that include 3 rolls with soup or salad. We love their spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, Philadelphia roll, and generally the rest of their menu is all really amazing. The price is amazing and we always devour all the food. If you are someone who cares about quality, ratios, and consistency, then you will love it like we do. They do have a list of fancier rolls that we occasionally get and are also amazing. But we keep coming back because we hit the perfect balance between amazing cost and amazing, delicious food. You get the best quality and the best price here and it’s so worth it! Highly recommend it!“

“We went here since it was close to our hotel. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. If you like oriental noodle dishes like Ramen or Pad Thai this is a great place to check out. Our waitress was pleasant, fast, and efficient. The decor is not very fancy but the food more than makes up for it.“

“First time here. The sushi is excellent and the Unlimited for $15 at lunch cannot be beat. The variety of offerings is extensive. I tried the sushi only so I can't speak to the hibachi or soups. The wait time was kind of long and they weren't that busy. Would follow advice of other reviewers and do the bulk of your order the first time and then if you want a second order, do it right away. Service was meh. Had to really work to get server's attention. Never returned on his own to check on things. I did see other diners getting more attentive service, so.....“

“We go there frequently. Great lunch and dinner options. Casual and not usually too busy (though Friday and Saturday can be pretty crowded). I've tried lots of their sushi rolls and all of them have been good. Favorite dish however id their Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap. The miso soup is great and the ginger dressing on their salads is as good as any I've had. Also, the fried pork Gyoza are a great appetizer. Some Japanese beers, and a local beer too. Most every beef and chicken dish has a soy option if you eating vegetarian.Vegetarian options: Several vegetable dishes and vegetarian options (soy) in place of chicken/beef/pork.“

“The food was amazing and fresh, but the service was okay but not welcoming or helpful. They didn't help when trying to order, we were the only ones there and just placed our food on the counter not saying a word to us (we were not sitted where the counter was in eyesight) that it was ready. When arriving we didn't know if we were supposed to sit on our own or wait to be seated and once we just sat we didn't know we were supposed to go up there to order at the counter. Nothing there was clear at all, BUT the food was good.“
