“Great little secret. Great atmosphere, great people and best of all great beer!On weekends there can be live music and some times game nights. Patios in the front and rear are great when the weather is willing. Most folks grab food at one of the local places and bring it in.The staff is great and always willing to educate you on their most recent brews.“

Forgotten Road Ales GSO Brewery •
303K Pisgah Church Rd, Greensboro

“Wife and I were walking around this area at North Elm Village for the first time and we happen to bump into this amazing little brewery. What a fun spot! Cozy inside with a patio outside, great craft beers on tap with plenty of choices for non-beer drinkers as well. I had a hazy IPA which was crisp with plenty of taste. My wife had a cider since she’s not a beer drinker and was pleasantly surprised as well. They also have wine and liquor with plenty of choices.Events to bring the community together all week long, including trivia nights, live music, bourbon Thursdays, and even bring your pet nights. The staff was unbelievably friendly as well. We will definitely be frequenting this place often.“

Oden Brewing Company Brewery • $$
804 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro

“I like to just come to Oden to chill out on a rocking chair and have several beers. The exterior space especially is hella awesome, and they've invested in a lot of fire pits and heaters for it so that the whole premises of the brewery can be utilized year round. Train tracks are to one side, and Gate City Boulevard is to the other. Not everyone thinks of roads and railways as things of beauty, but then again, they usually don't think of arteries and veins as articles of rapture either. They are though. Each headlight that passes by in the night is a luminescent corpuscle, and inside the cab of each car or the cabin of every train carriage is a package of energy called a human being. Every one of our lives, although they last for but an instant in the vast overpowering rush of nature, is a chance for the universe itself to revel in its own existence. I'm not sure if there's a God. Are my hemocytes sure if I exist? I've had several beers. Here be a good place to rock.“

Little Brother Brewing Kernersville Brewery • $
221 N Main St, Kernersville

“This is a great spot for local drinks. I do wish they had an outdoor space and a door in the back in the winter when the garage door isn't open. Logan is the best bartender! She remembers what we like even if we don't see her for a few weeks.“

Paddled South Brewing Company Brewery • $$
602 N Main St, High Point

“We came here on a Sunday afternoon while traveling from Charlotte to Raleigh. We needed someplace dog friendly, so we settled on Paddle South Brewing. A couple patrons told us we could take the dogs inside, which turned out to be the owners. We chatted with the owners, Patrick and Dave, over a West Coast IPA and a Hazy outside on the patio. Doug even gave us a water bowl for the dogs. The beer was delicious, but their hospitality was even more endearing. If you are in the area, please check them out! We will be returning!!“

Gypsy Road Brewing Company Brewery • $$
1105 E Mountain St, Kernersville

“This place has a great atmosphere! There were young folks and enough of us Boomers to make it interesting! Good Beer ? Good music. Plenty of places to sit and gather, a nice little stage, warmers outside for when it’s cold, plenty of parking. We had amazing Cuban food while we had our reasonably priced beers. Recommend this place!“

Steel Hands Brewing Brewery • $$
1918 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro

“There is a reason that this brewery is always busy: the beer is awesome! I've checked out several local breweries in the area, and this one is at the top of my list. The beer is great, and the service is awesome. The staff are welcoming and willing to help you select a beer if you're undecided. I tried the Winter Release - it doesn't disappoint!“

Pig Pounder Brewery Brewery • $$
1107 Grecade St, Greensboro

“Definitely the cool local spot that has something for everyone! The art aesthetic and the shabby chic seating made it feel cozy, but the real reason you visit is for their amazing beers! The menu boasts everything from IPA to Kolsch. They even make their own labeled and bottle wines! (2 red and 1 white on the menu currently) It is a place to bring you dog, kids, friends, or even a date. So glad to have stumbled upon it.“
