“food is great but prices are way too high. especially their wings 6 for 12.50$ most places at most are $1-1.50 per wing. a 19" pizza, 6 wings and garlic bread cost me 48$”
“I just wanted to share my experience tonight. I’ve been coming here forever. I forgot my wallet and Tatum took care of me. These people are always great. Good service, great food, good atmosphere. I’ll make sure I pay it forward next time, thank you for your kindness. ♥️”
“Curry Place has delicious and authentic Indian cuisine. They have a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and by far it’s one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve been too (if not the best)!”
“Excellent place with options for anyone and everyone. I ordered about seven different kinds that macarons and every single one was absolutely fantastic! I also ordered the grilled chicken and avocado baguette and the every aspect of it was amazing. From the flavors to the tenderness of the chicken, you can tell this place really knows what they’re doing. Definitely coming back!!”
“Went to the Charlotte Waverly location in NC it was so tasty an the outdoor dining was beautiful. My favorite was the cilantro rice along with the Yuca and the chicken was flavorful and delicious. 10/10 I wish there was a location in Greenville NC.”
“I had a great experience at One Tapas. My husband and I ordered 5 small plates and all were super tasty! The dessert was so yummy too! The ambiance was charming, the service impeccable, and the food was simply divine. Each dish was expertly prepared, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. A definite must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience!”
“Mr. Joel was super nice & accommodating. I arrived a few minutes before closing & he was so nice about me still ordering regardless of the closing time. 10/10 recommend his white pizza, best thing I’ve ate in Monroe thus far. I’ll definitely continue doing business at ThrowBack pizza. So much flavor in each bite & let me not forget to speak on the wingssss they bussin:) you want be disappointed. I’ll be back for sure, me & my kids new pizza joint.Kid-friendliness: Soo many games for the kids to play & have a great time.”
“Absolutely love this place. We live close by so this is our favorite spot for breakfast! Food is always amazing, atmosphere is absolutely cute and what I love the most is service.Wes was our server today. We have seen him around many times and today we figure he has been working here for 4+ years! Wes is very pleasant, patience and kind!Very happy we decided to come here. Not much left as the picture shows lol”
“The food was impressive! The Hawaiian French Toast sent me to another dimension. Our server, Zoraida, was so attentive and made my experience 100x better. I’m definitely coming back.”
“I can’t believe how good this place was. The vibe, the welcoming and smiling staff, the food … all totally on point. The coffees- we tried hot and cold- were each THE BEST we’ve had in Charlotte…no contest. No paper cups here if you eat in… coffee only as it should be served: in real mugs on saucers with decorative art in the foam that holds while you drink it. The bahn mi sandwich was light and tasty like it should be- loved the bulgogi one. The bread was beyond anything I’ve found locally. I can’t say enough to express my delight with this place… a hidden gem in Matthews that you NEED to experience!!?”
“Stopped by on a Monday morning. No wait, sat down immediately, and greeted by our server. Everything was great. Service, quality of food, and timeliness of food from start to finish were all fantastic. I ordered the bacon avocado bowl which was an item I would usually not order, but decided to step out of my comfort zone and try something different. Although there were no "roasted" grape tomatoes(plain cold grape tomatoes). It was tasty and satisfying. My mom had the bissell breakfast which she throughly enjoyed.”
“I go here multiple times a week and have never been disappointed. The coffee, pastries, and the staff are all wonderful. Highly recommend to anyone nearby.Vegetarian options: Not a single thing there that wouldn’t be vegetarianDietary restrictions: They offer different types of milk if you may be allergic, or lactose intolerant. There’s no meat in the shop, and I’ve only ever seen one item that contains nuts, but there could be more I haven’t noticed.Parking: At first glance it doesn’t seem like there’s a ton of parking, but there is plenty, and also plenty of exits depending on how you like to converge into traffic.Kid-friendliness: The people are incredibly kind to the kids, and there are plenty of pastries and other drinks besides coffee for any kids. I’ve seen plenty of parents in the shop, and there’s never been any issues”
“My food was so good! I had the malai kofta and gulab jamun for dessert. The gulab jamun was served warm and was so delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try the dosas.”
“It was pretty crowded when we went in today about 10:00am, but we were seated immediately. For our meal, we both ordered the same thing: Egg skillet with scrambled eggs and we shared a side of bacon. It was delicious, food was nice and hot and prepared fresh for us.Our server was super sweet and all the staff had smiles on their faces which is an absolute pleasure to see.The restaurant was really clean and bright and open. We will definitely be back.”
“I'm sure the have the adult beverage your looking for and the hotdogs are great. Eclectic type of vibe in Monroe. Great lil hang out on the sidewalk and watch the happenings of town place. Service was great. The cashier/order taker dude was very engaging and offered assistance several times while I perused the menu board.”
“I want to be as objective as possible. Im trying to play nice. Especially for a restaurant that charges your card for a reservation hold. Our reservation didn't get booked, so we sat at the bar. The service was good. My card got declined because it was locked. The bartender was patient while I figured it out. However, the food which is always my main focus. Let's talk about the food. It was rather disappointing. We opted for a small Salad, Chicken Parm, and Nutella pie. The only thing decent was the pie. It was huge, light and fluffy, and covered in caramel. The chicken Parm was a great size (2 big) breasts heavily breaded and covered in sauce and cheese, completely lacking flavor. The breading did have herbs. Additionally, it was completely greasey. You could squeeze the cutlet and the oil oozed. They definitely needed salt, too. The side of spaghetti was no different. The sauce was the same and lacked flavor. I did add fresh shaved parmesan, so the salt in that should have enhanced the flavor, but it was still lacking . The whole meal was void of flavor but looked esthetically palatable. I asked her opinion and she felt the same. Gave it a 2 out of 10. In fairness, she's Indian so she likes heavy flavor and spice, and I love strong seasoning, so this may not have been our cup of tea. So, take my review with a pinch of salt.”
“Yummy ice cream, clean store and great customer service. The ambiance had a good family feel, along with outdoor seating. They even have peanut butter pup cups which sealed the deal for us. We will definitely be back!”
“I've enjoyed 10+ years of sushi perfection at this fantastic restaurant. I do enjoy dining there if the wait isn't too long but it gets busy early. Takeout is always a good idea. Never once has my order been incorrect. This review wouldn't be complete without complimenting the staff. They are always so kind and welcoming!! It feels like family. Thank you, NZ!!”
“This is the best coffee shop we have ever found. They are a friendly, customer focused shop that also has yummy baked goods. Forget those large chain coffee shops with products that come from gosh knows where. This place is all organic and top quality! You really need to try this place out!”
“Love this restaurant. 1st time there and will be back. Food delicious and prepared perfectly. Kaylee was awesome and attentive. Manager came by to be sure we were happy and enjoying our meal.”
“The Panini's are awesome, bread is baked locally and you can tell the quality is excellent. The owner and young lady serving were very sweet and helpful. Some cool imported Italian products to choose from as well. Well worth the visit. Will be back.”
“I tried the strawberry golden oreo ice cream. It it was very good and I liked the oreo pieces. The price was good for the amount of ice cream in my cup. You should give this place a try!!!!”
“Beautiful place. Has plenty of space to do either your work or just read a book or chat with your friends. Coffee was delicious as well. Had a great time catching up with my old friend. I would highly recommend it.”
“Came for lunch and it was awesome!! Staff were kind, patient (so many yummy options I was contemplating what to get!!) and even brought coffee and food to me. Also very clean!! The Milky Way latte was PERFECT! I had a breakfast sandwich and it was AMAZING. I don’t leave reviews but this place deserves one!! I can’t wait to go back ?”
“I like the food and generally recommend this restaurant. There are three things that frustrate me considerably and they significantly impact how often we go.1. $4.25 for soft drinks? Sure, make money on drinks; you're not running a restaurant for your health, but $4!! Because of this, we decide against going 50% of the time we otherwise would. Because of this, when we do go, it is well understood, we all are getting water without exception. If they charged $2.00-$3.00 for soft drinks, we'd go far more often and we'd spend money on drinks. Again, $4? Shame on you.2. The robot gets in the way and doesn't appear to serve a purpose. Prior to its existence, waiters would bring our food and set it on our table. Now waiters follow the robot around and put the food it carries on our table. What's the value-add of this thing? Pointless several thousand dollars spent on an obstacle. I'm sure the robot is why they decided to charge $4 for a Coke.....I actually didn't see it the last time I was there and a friend of mine said he hasn't seen it in a while and thinks they got rid of it. If so, good for them; I only have 2 grievances then.3. The men's bathroom has no divider between the urinal and the sink. If you're using the urinal and someone uses the sink, you're basically presenting yourself to them. It's a lose-lose situation. I mean, we're men, it's a men's bathroom and to a great extent I'm fine in a situation wherein I need to do what I gotta do and someone does what they gotta do and neither of us cares about the others' situation. Unfortunately there's no option to ignore the dude using the urinal if you need to wash your hands. I wonder how many people have used the stall and returned to their table with dookie particle fingers because they were too uncomfortable to wash their hands beside a stranger's wiener. In summary, junk the robot (if not already done), charge $2.50 for Coke and put up a $40 partition beside the urinal and great success will follow! It's the simple things that make all the difference. It's mid April. I'll come back around mid-May and hope to see improvement. If not, then Azteca, Monterrey and maybe even Taxco get our business.”
“I have eaten at the Tap and Vine twice in two weeks. The dining experience is above and beyond the dining experiences I've had at other restaurants recently. The food is absolutely delicious! Very fresh. We've tried a couple of bottles of wine that did not disappoint. The wait staff is on it! I can't wait to go back for more! It's nice to finally find an intimate setting to enjoy with family and friends.”
“This is an excellent Persian food. Everything is so perfect. The Kobeda is excellent, the lamb chops, the amazing Persian rice and most importantly the pizza! Only the people from Iran or Iraq will understand how good it is. When I tasted it, the smell took me back to my hometown. All in all everything is perfect and I strongly recommend this place to whomever interested in Persian food”
“The place doesn't have the best aesthetics, but that doesn't matter because the food is amazing. I'm not Korean myself, but some Korean people I know say it's authentic. The food is very tasty and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the beef bulgogi, it was scrumptious. The small store there is also nice, they have a good selection of food and kitchen items, and if you like kimchi you can buy a huge jar of it if you'd like. Overall, I think everyone should try this restaurant if you get the chance.Wheelchair accessibility: It's accessible in the sense that everything is in flat ground, but it's small and if your wheelchair can't fit through small spaces you're kinda screwed”
“Always a winner. The truffles fries are the best around, the burger with the bacon jam is out of this world. Terrific wine selection and some of the best service. This is our go to date night place.”
“1st time for my Wife and I to attend here. Finding a Mexican restaurant near us with good food is important. This business is about 5 min from our home and the atmosphere was great.I had the pick 2 Burrito and Taco, rice and refried beans. My Wife had the Pick 2 with Burrito's. The food was seriously well prepared and the taste was really good. Usually the beef at some restaurants has a dog food taste to it. This beef was very good and was seasoned well.We will be going back often.”
