“This restaurant is absolutely phenomenal! I’ve lived in Matthew’s ever since I was born and I never would’ve expected such a lovely, atmospheric restaurant to be this close to home as me and my family usually drive at least 30 minutes out for a good dining experience. I visited Sizzle for the very first time today after eating at an extremely lackluster sushi place in Charleston earlier this week and I was so delighted by the friendliness of the servers and kitchen staff at Sizzle. The Braised Tofu and Vegetables is a solid choice for vegetarians, it was so well marinated that I can honestly just eat the peppers and carrots (which, by the way, retained their crunch and flavor while still being completely cooked ?). My boyfriend and I shared a plate of their sesame balls fresh from the fryer, and no other sesame balls, in my opinion, can even hold a candle to what we were presented with! Our server was also absolutely amazing, she was very helpful and kept our water full! Sizzle should be called the Mitochondria, because it is the powerhouse of Matthew’s. I will be back soon with my father and brother to try another dish. Thank you Sizzle for this experience, I will be day dreaming about you :)“

I’ve always wanted morning boba instead of morning coffee and now I can and not only that, but the boba and milk teas are also actually really good!! And very fairly priced!! “Hidden gem! The on site manager is really friendly and you can tell he really cares about the quality of beverages and food served. This site has a wide variety of drinks and makes for a perfect quick stop to get refreshments. We tried the Vietnamese coffee and matcha cheesecake— both were delicious.They also serve Vietnamese sandwiches.“

“I really liked this cafe in North Charlotte, so I was super-psyched to learn that a second location of this cafe opened on Pineville-Matthews Road! The place itself turned out to be much nicer and bigger than anticipated...with plenty of comfy seatings. They also played metro lounge overhead music (Loved!). BTW, the counter service was great...and the foods came out pretty quickly! I ordered their Bulgogi Bahn Mi, which came with a ton of Kimchi (on a lightly toasted buns!)...and Popcorn Chicken...and both were amazing! Loved every bite of both!! The pictures really don't do justice to just how delish these were! The Food Blogger in me was disappointed in the cheap paper and plastic presentation, but the deliciousness kind of made up for it on this occasion. “Love coming to ShareTea for boba tea. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and there are even tables where you can sit and read or play games with your kids or friends. They have games you can borrow and sit at the tables and play.We make it a point to get boba here about once per week.Parking: Parking lot behind the building is small and tight but most people are in and out so we can always find parking.Kid-friendliness: Nice place to disconnect with your older kids to sit and have boba tea and play games.“

“We ordered chicken skewers (my favorite on the menu), scallion cakes (pretty decent, but it gets a bit too much after two pieces), curry noodle soup (my second favourite on the menu, very juicy and tender chicken, and nice tasting shrimps plus pretty flavorful noodles and veggies), the string beans and the spicy chicken is a bit too sweet for my taste, as I expected only spicy and salty flavor, so probably won't be ordering these again. Good ambiance and food came out pretty fast. I don't really like the fact that it's self serving but their payment system still defaults you to pay for tips at the time of ordering... I mean they do bring the food out, but that's about it...“

“The boba tea is always delicious whenever I stop in. The staff are nice, but don't always greet you. The store is clean and bright! The only real downside is, I'm not sure what air freshener or cleaner they are using, but it's always so strong when I go in and I can't wait to get my drink and leave.“
