I love El Valle. Family owned. Has been in Matthews for many years. My family and I have been eating here for probably 10 years. The service is excellent. They don't have much turnover in staff so they remember us. Now that our son has moved away, they always ask how he is doing. The food is always fresh and excellent. Our order is always correct. The prices are reasonable. My favorites are Chimmichanga, Polo Adobe, Polo Especial, Fajita. I love their salsa.
The waiter was very personable and prompt. My chicken dish was fantastic and took all home for a second round for a snack with my guy! A little out of the way for me but will be back! I am in Charlotte and haven’t found a place around where I am that is that good! Great salsa! Next time I’ll try a margarita!!
I was embarrassed, I told my friend that my hubby and I love this place good food, simple atmosphere casual awesome margaritas. The service always has been Great. Not that day. I mean preoccupied was our waiter so much that he give us simple things to make it more enjoyable napkins, drinks, brought out the rice, been, lettuce and wraps but not the chicken fajita is wasn't hot when it arrived. Disappointed so I highly doubt that I will be able to get her to come back with...
