What a great pub in Matthew’s. Just what we needed. Walk in and you feel like you’ve been transported to an Irish pub with Irish hospitality. The owners are both from Ireland and give excellent service. Very personable. Great selection of Irish whiskeys, scotches and bourbons. Even some from Japan. Love the big beer garden in the front. If you’re anywhere in the area in Charlotte North Carolina, you must go visit this establishment outside the city limits; Matthews Social House is a great local pub located in Matthews North Carolina.The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is extremely friendly and "Social" and the ambience takes you away and makes you feel like you’re hanging in a local pub in Ireland ??. We love supporting small businesses and Matthew's Social House is definitely worth the business! It's the only place we've found that has Magner's Irish Cider on draft, as well as other Irish classics. We've met both of the owners and they're welcoming and chill. There are also games available and a pool table.
