“Stopped as we were passing through (heading home from vacation). Employees all seemed happy/pleasant, food was ready quickly and the quality was good for fast food. I will say if you don't like mayonnaise watch out for the chicken sandwich. I happen to love mayonnaise so I was quite pleased!”

“My wife and myself have never been to Captain Larry's. To be honest, we went to the old Captain Larry's and the place looked so bad from the outside, I did not want to go inside. I can attest that things are VERY different now. The place was very clean, quiet, and decorated very good. The staff was very nice and attentive to us. The food was great!!! I ordered a NY strip steak, and the flavor was fantastic. It was cooked a bit over what I ordered, and the waitress pointed it out even before I saw the steak. She offered to take care of it for me. I told her not to worry about it that it looked fine. The Hushpuppies were some of the best I have ever had, and I grew up on the coast. We will be returning soon, and sure we will enjoy it the same way.”

“First time here. Just moved into the area and had to come to Laurinburg on business. It was lunch time and stopped by another place. They weren't what they said they were so I left. Drove by and didn't see this place and had turned around to go back to another place and then I saw it. I had to go in. Not much to look at in the outside which is why I didn't see it in the first place but when I went in everything changed.

Immediately you get a sense of what you're about to partake in. Hardly anyone inside so I was immediately seated by the hostess. The server came over immediately and was very pleasant. She gave me a few minutes to look over the menu. One side all sushi and the other side all dishes and appetizers

The food came quickly and was so good, as well as the service. No desserts here.

“Waiting and waiting on an online pizza delivery order, only to call the store to be told I requested carryout. Checked email confirmation and sure enough, I did. Not having a car did not help either. Papa John's was nice enough to have it delivered to me. One hour later and the pizza is still hot and delicious. Thank you Papa John's!”

“The food is very good and is a great value. The portion sizes are big with plenty for leftovers. The white sauce is delicious. We prefer going here over any other Japanese restaurant around including the ones in Fayetteville. We don’t live in Laurinburg but drive over specifically to eat here at least twice a month.”

“My family & I usually do take out b/c the inside isn't as clean as I'd prefer to eat inside. Overall the food is really good. I do recommend their House Soup, Fried Egg/Spring rolls, baby shrimp w/fried rice, Mongolian Beef, Hunan Beef, shrimp fried rice, vegetable fried rice & cheese wontons.”
