“These folks can fry some seafood! I love when I’m working in Maxton. However, they are only opened Wednesday-Saturday and take cash only. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, with a small parking lot. But there are several tables to offer dine-in.The owners are a couple, as previous reviews mentioned don’t engaged in chit chat with customers but I have not had problems placing my orders when I arrive. The wife cooks the food and it is well seasoned. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the jumbo shrimps aren’t even deveined so I could not enjoy what I was eating. Then I had to wonder how the oysters were prepped. But their croakers are delicious and you get a lot of food for your money. I would go out of my way to buy their fish dinners because I never get enough once I took that last bite!Parking: Small parking lot in front of building, street parking nearby.”

“My husband and I really love this restaurant ❤️ everything we have had here has be authentic and delicious!! The service is outstanding and they make you feel like family. The jumbo margarita is more like a drink for 2 or 3. We are from Texas and know what real authentic Mexican food should be. You will not be disappointed. I also personally like watching the old school cartoons ?I have only great things to say about this restaurant ❤️”

“My husband and I visited Cypress Bend last month. It was raining and we were the only people there. We were immediately impressed with tasting room and the murals on the walls. We did a tasting and couldn't decided which wine we enjoyed the most so we left with 6 varieties! Still have 2 bottles left! We have every intention to visit again!”

“Ice Breakers is a Hidden Country Gem! Bringing a little bit of city charm to the country side of Laurinburg. As you usually only find this style of crushed snow ice in larger cities further south. Glad to have them so close to home now.”

We had the grilled chicken and a teriyaki chicken plate and it was some of the best grilled chicken that I've eaten. The waitress made our meal even better with her positive and sweet personality. The cook was excellent and was very nice as well. This is an excellent place to eat if you're passing through Laurinburg.”
