“My husband and I really love this restaurant ❤️ everything we have had here has be authentic and delicious!! The service is outstanding and they make you feel like family. The jumbo margarita is more like a drink for 2 or 3. We are from Texas and know what real authentic Mexican food should be. You will not be disappointed. I also personally like watching the old school cartoons ?I have only great things to say about this restaurant ❤️“
“Cozy home cooked food for the soul..Breakfast and Lunch never disappoints. The staff is always pleasant and friendly. Not just for the local people. Pleasing to all taste buds. If your looking for a treat try the homemade chicken and Pastry on Thursday and the catfish on friday“
“My recent reconnection with an old friend led me to the esteemed establishment of McDuff's, whereupon I indulged in wings, potato skins, and mozzarella sticks. From the inception of my visit, I was greeted with a salutation imbued with genuine warmth, setting the tone for an evening of culinary enlightenment. The menu offered a panoply of choices ranging from the quintessential alfredo (a local delicacy) to the more health-conscious alternatives of salads and grilled chicken wraps. Despite having opted for the Golden Bear, I found myself unable to finish it due to having been filled by all the aforementioned dishes included in the Sampler. Accompanied by cheese fries of impeccable crispness and judicious seasoning, the meal achieved a harmonious balance that bespoke culinary finesse. The service ensured a fair progression of my dining experience, defined by a somewhat less-than-ideal delivery despite the low to medium traffic. Despite the said delay, the pricing remained commensurate with the value bestowed, rendering McDuff's a beacon of excellence accessible to all discerning palates. In summary, I ardently advocate for the patronage of this esteemed establishment to connoisseurs and epicureans alike, as it promises an odyssey of flavor that will linger in the recesses of memory. Just note to define the heat level of your wings and do not always expect your food to arrive promptly if there is a high volume.“
“We traveled through Laurinburg on a Friday evening a little after suppertime. It was easy to find and plenty of parking. As we got on the lot, I noticed it was missing the smell of burning hickory, whispering to me "come inside." I had wanted to try a Smithfield's and this seemed to be a good chance. It's a chain like Dickey's, Maurice's or Mission BBQ.The establishment was clean and looked newly built. Just inside the door was a sink for washing up, which was pretty cool. I've never seen a wash up sink in the dining area of the restaurant done quite like this. The staff was very friendly and there was no line to wait in.If you know me, you know what I'm here for. I ordered the Regular Bar-B-Q Pork Plate, which included Pulled Pork BBQ, hush puppies, coleslaw, and potato salad. I also had sweet tea.Their BBQ is very good. I could taste the sauce in it without adding any. It was moist but not wet. I didn't see any bark, nor did it have a heavy smoky flavor. I also added their vinegar/ pepper sauce which is the way I preferred it. The sauce is heavy on the pepper flakes which gives it a great kick on the taste buds. My only regret was that the portion seemed a little small. (There is an option for a large plate and I would probably get that next time.) The coleslaw was also sweet and tasty, and had a perfect shred to it. Loved the hush puppies too. The potato salad was good but on the sweet side. The sweet tea wasn't bad but it had a very unique after taste that I wasn't used too. Maybe it was just that brew.I'd definitely come back. On the way out I noticed they sell their sauce in a gallon jug... maybe next time.“
“This was my first time eating here and it was very good. We took it to go we split a pulled pork and ribs plate. I loved the baked beans and they were nice and put them in a small container so they didn’t leak out. The potato salad was very tasty. I really loved the ribs and thst sauce is YUMMO. only thing I didn’t care for was the pulled pork was chopped up a little to much for my liking but it still had a nice Smokey flavor. It’s a really good BBQ spot definitely will be back“

“My sister and I were passing through town and decided to eat at a local place instead of fast food. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had the grilled chicken and a teriyaki chicken plate and it was some of the best grilled chicken that I've eaten. The waitress made our meal even better with her positive and sweet personality. The cook was excellent and was very nice as well. This is an excellent place to eat if you're passing through Laurinburg.“
“I've been to many captain D's from florida to texas and this one hands down has been the best and most consistent the staff is always friendly and the place is clean most of all the food has always been hot , fresh and properly cooked.“
“Was bored looking up places I remember from being a kid and growing up in Maxton. Bill's Place holds a big place in my memories and my heart. I have since moved out of NC but I'd still reccomend Bill's Place to anyone in and around Maxton. The best chili in the world. I've never had anything that compares to a chili cheese burger and fries from Bill's. I'm so happy to see it is still going strong, as it should. It's a Maxton staple and I cannot wait to visit and have some good food and great conversation with amazing people!“
