Heard good things about the Rusty Gate and finally had a chance to check it out for myself. It's at the site of the old Maw Maw's Restaurant on 158 near Farmington Rd. Parking is close and it's easy access off 158. Walking I , it gives off the vibe of a small town eatery. Love it. I seated myself and was greeted by a server with a menu. We stopped at this cozy quaint cafe on the way home from the mountains. It was really good. I got the mushroom Swiss burger with fries and my boyfriend got the BBQ sandwich with tater tots. Both were really good. It is affordable we paid about $22 for both sandwiches and 2 sweet teas. The inside is a lot nicer than the photos online. We will definitely be back.Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Has high chairs and kids menu. This cafe was too small for a changing table.

We ate breakfast there this morning my husband tried the chicken sandwich with egg and tomato and mayonnaise he said it was so good and I had eggs bacon butter toast and hashbrowns also so good and the waitress are so friendly and really nice we will definitely go back again.
