“I stopped in on business and got some fish bites while I was there. By far some of the best seafood I have had in the area. It tasted fresh and was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My plate came out hot and fresh. The service was fantastic. They have a nice backyard style seating area with plenty of shade for those hot summer days.“

“Banks Grill is my go to for brunch with the kiddos! This place really is a local gem. The menu is more sophisticated and varied than your average breakfast/brunch place. The beignets are our favorite - hot sweet little powdered sugar pillows. Trista is the best!! She always makes us feel so welcome, like we're family. Great job, Banks! Highly recommended ?Kid-friendliness: Trista makes my boys, ages 14 and 9, feel so special. She knows them by name and always asks them about school. The food is fabulous, but we would honestly come just to see Trista! My 9 year old loves to color the light house on the kids menu. The portions of the kids' meals are very generous.“

“I eat here every time I go to the beach the breakfast is the best at a reasonable cost ,my wife had the blueberry pancakes and they were excellent, we came back for supper and I had the fisherman platter and my wife the crab cakes , not the crab cakes we are use to but everyone has their own recipe. The food was superb. Honestly. We got bang bang shrimp for an appetizer and then shrimp tacos for my wife and a flounder po’boy for myself. Being from Louisiana it gets my seal of approval. I honestly did not expect so much flounder on it. I wish had been hungrier than I was so I could have finished it, but hey leftovers are great. All in all, highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to come back with our kids.“

“Got there at 1pm. No food at 2pm. Told it was because one of the order takes longer because there are 2 patties to be cooked. Few minutes later, was told the ticket was lost. Still no food at 2:20. Went up to the bar and no apology but curt it is coming. Finally got the food at 2:30. Curt here is your food as if we were the problem. The waitress was nice but not the manager looking lady. What a fiasco. Never again.“
“I eat at Star Fish Grill on the way back to Wilmington each time I have meetings in Cherry Point. They never disappoint. The decor always incorporates the holidays along with their nautical theme. It’s always fun to see what has changed each visit. The food has always been excellent and I always look forward to my next visit. The service goes without saying. If it wasn’t good I would not have been back so many times. I am known to be extremely picky and I can always find something new to try. The only disappointment is they are not in Wilmington.“
