“It's a malatang place just as a foreword, not necessarily a standard hotpot place. Ingredients are pretty good, so the taste as well is enough to satisfy. However, price can be just a little on the higher side. The ownership seemed pretty nice.“
“For this to be a little strip mall restaurant, I was extremely pleased with my meal here! The food was delicious, service was great, and prices were incredible. I am already looking forward to my next visit. They had plenty of options for us as vegans. Thanks for giving us a little taste of Thailand right here in Raleigh.“
“Love going to Hayashi for lunch. They have a great deal on ? bento boxes. I recommend the Wolves bento box; you'll get a lot of food, including shrimp & vegetables tempura, chef choice sushi, sashimi, California rolls, and salad. I also love their ginger dressing!“
“Overall Rating: 5.6/10The restaurant offers spacious dining with private sections, contributing to a more intimate atmosphere. While the setting is visually appealing and the food generally good, certain aspects, including service speed and dish execution, were mixed.Atmosphere: 5.9/10The unique layout, with its divided sections, enhances privacy and comfort for diners. This structure, coupled with the restaurant's laid-back vibe and distinct appearance, makes for a visually inviting space.Service: 5.5/10Service is friendly but marked by noticeable delays, from ordering to receiving the bill, reflecting a leisurely pace that, while not problematic, doesn't stand out as exceptional.Food:Appetizer Sampler: 5.6/10A mixed bag: the spring rolls shine without the typical overpowering cabbage taste, and the crab Rangoon delights with its flavorful filling. The variety of sauces offers more options for tasting. However, the chicken satay disappoints due to its excessive dryness, nearing inedibility.General Tso: 6.1/10This dish stands out for its sauce and the inclusion of a diverse vegetable mix not commonly found elsewhere, offering an enhanced flavor profile. However, the chicken's lack of crispiness and minimal breading detracts from the expected texture.Pho: 6.2/10The broth is notably good, and the meatballs are flavorful, contributing to a satisfying Pho experience.Pineapple Fried Rice: 6.3/10Distinguished by its well-executed blend of various vegetables and flavors, this dish is a highlight of the meal.Value: 4.9/10At $78 for three people without leftovers to take home, the pricing feels high relative to the overall dining experience and the quality of food provided.Additional Note: The restaurant's vicinity includes 1 Pokémon Gym, adding a slight perk for Pokémon Go players looking to dine in an area where they can also engage with the game.“
“Excellent service at lunchtime. We were a little late to lunch, and they seated us immediately. Our food came out fast and with a complementary egg roll that tasted amazing & hot. Our drinks were refilled all the time. Definitely would be down to come back for another lunch sometime. The ambiance is nice, a cozy little restaurant with clean tables and chairs.“
“Overall Rating: 7.6/10The interior appears freshly renovated, complemented by friendly staff and promptly served, tasty food. You get the amazing tasting hibachi food without the show.Food:Crab Rangoon: 6.1/10A standard offering with a slightly better-than-average filling, making it a decent choice.Hibachi Steak / Chicken: 7.1/10Both the steak and chicken were of good quality and cooked just right, with pieces chopped into ideal sizes for eating.General Tso's Chicken: 8.2/10This dish stood out with perfectly cooked, smaller-than-usual chicken pieces that resulted in extra crispiness. The broccoli was fresh, and the sauce was enjoyable, though a bit more spice would have been welcome.Yakisoba with Shrimp: 7.1/10The noodles and shrimp were prepared excellently, hitting the right flavor notes for a satisfying meal.Pokémon go:2 Pokemon gymsValue: 8.1/10At $55 before tax for a meal for three, the pricing reflects good value for the quality and quantity of food provided.“
“It’s nice to have personal hotspot in Raleigh finally without driving to cart or Morrisville. I ordered the Sichuan Mala hotpot, the broth was delicious and came with great assortment of hotpot items. The hotpot container came with alcohol lamp underneath to keep the soup warm the whole time while eating it, just need to be careful if you are with young children. The portion was great for one person, it can be shared with two if you order some side dishes. The interior was nice and clean, will definitely be back soon!“
“I had the beef jerkey appetizer and curry laska. I always get curry laska whenever it’s on the menu and this one’s the best one I’ve had! They do NOT skimp on the meat portions. And everything came out super fast. We sat on the patio for at least two hours, mimosas were on sunday special for $3 ! I will be back every Sunday“
“This was our first visit to Carolina Sushi and Roll. The food was so good!!! My daughter and I both picked the pick 2 special and had some tempura, as well. The tuna and salmon were so fresh! My 9 year old ate tofu...so that was a win :-)The service was excellent! Everyone was so friendly and polite. Will definitely be coming back soon!“
“The only thing that I don’t like is the mistreatment of the live animals that are at the “Asian Market Section.” I understand that they are there to be sold to be eaten.(But they don’t have to suffer first).Other than that, Great place for grocery shopping. And the bakery is very delicious.“
“First time we have visited this restaurant, but not the first time tasting their food. So, here goes. Quaint. Tidy, and tucked away in a college neighborhood. All great things. Was there a wait to be seated? There was not - but, that didn't mean this wasn't a great spot for dinner. Our first course was (of course) their hot soups. I had Wonton and my husband had David's Hot & Sour. So good. We ordered Jasmine tea - took awhile to steep, but isn't that always the way with tea? After soup, we had Fried Vietnamese Vegetable Spring Rolls. These were good, and we also had David's Original Half-Fried Dumplings. You get five of these big guys. We split the Sesame Chicken and Beef Lo Mein Egg Noodles. Even the steamed rice was delicious. Tender chunks of chicken in a sweet sauce with small stalks of broccoli, and the beef was tender and easy to chew. I would have to say that their portions were small. We did not take anything home with us (at other Asian places, and for the amount of money we spent, we would get a second at-home meal). Not the case here. You get fresh, hot food or average portion size, and you leave what's left (empty plates). Staff were accommodating. We were told at the time that their systems were acting slowly, so in order to process our order, everything had to be entered all at once. My husband and I are never rushed, and we don't enjoy everything coming out of the kitchen at once. However, we were informed of what they were doing to get hot food out to us. We appreciated this information. I would say, "go here and try it!" The "industrial" decor is fitting for its location. Everything is casual - even the person seating us wore jeans and sneakers. We will go back, and bring others with us.“
“One of the best, if not the best, bang for your buck downtown Raleigh lunch. For less than $11 they will stack a tray full of rice, chicken, and 2 spring rolls. Can't beat the amount of food for the price in downtown Raleigh. Also I would not give it 5 stars if it was bad food. It is pretty pretty good. Sesame chicken and general tso really hit the spot. I recommend this place.Don't order online like the bad reviews I've seen having bad experiences with that. Just walk in. It takes less than a minute to get a tray and pay“
“Their food is very personalized; their service is quick and satisfactory, and their quality is excellent. The atmosphere and environment is soothing and comforting, and the workers here have great manners. I would greatly recommend coming here to eat.“
“Amazing restaurant. Red Bowl has never failed me before and I've been a frequent customer. Every sushi roll here tastes amazing and none of them are bad. The service is always amazing also and the atmosphere is just amazing and I always feel welcome there. Amazing restaurant with even better food.“
“Food was really good! They also gave me lots of sauce, which is great! I ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp. The steak was super good! I would have liked it if they cut up the onions smaller and added more zucchini and carrots but I'll definitely be ordering again! The soup was also really good. It was on the small side. I was expecting a small container of soup like you'd get from a Chinese restaurant. This soup container was much smaller.“
“Great sushi. Normally great service. Host on 3/29 wouldn’t seat us at an outdoor table (had the dogs) said they were all reserved, so we opted for takeout. We ended up eating at another location nearby. Numerous tables stayed unoccupied the entire time. Seems like host wasn’t very good. I hope this issue gets corrected because this is one of our favorite sushi spots“
“I live at an apartment complex within walking distance. I've dined in once and have ordered online here many times. The food is consistently good, I really like the orange chicken. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Just know this it's located across from PNC Arena and can get pretty crowded during games and events.“
“Wow! Great little ramen and rice dish restaurant with a list of delicious appetizers. The ramen is delicious - and there are a number of interesting noodle options like a ramen version of Thai Tom Kha, or Korean Army Noodles with spam and hot dog! They have a number of rice dishes, two with Japanese curry like pork cutlet or beef meatball. Great friendly service too.“
