“Poke Burri in Raleigh is a culinary gem that truly stands out in the vibrant food scene of the city. The owner, Agux, is a shining example of hospitality and customer service, going above and beyond to ensure that every patron feels welcomed and valued. The Super Bowl dish at Poke Burri is nothing short of amazing, a delightful combination of flavors and textures that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy. If you're looking for a dining experience that not only satisfies your hunger but also warms your heart, Poke Burri is the place to be. Agux's dedication to his customers and the exceptional dishes served make this restaurant a must-visit in Raleigh.“
“This is a good one! Great atomsphere with funky deco. Imagine an Elvis Bodhistava picture paired with Power Puff Girls. There is Giant circular aquarium in the center filled with fish (no cows though). They do sushi and burgers. Go figure. I had a burger with bacon, grilled onions, shrooms, and goat cheese. Forget about it! It was great! Service was great and the place is legit kid-friendly.Parking: Use the parking garage to the righy of the front door. There's no charge, plenty of space.Kid-friendliness: There were plenty of kids there, no snide comments or bs parents often get.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground Floor“
“The prices are a little high, but you can enjoy a variety of creative dishes. The food was delicious and worth the price. ?Dietary restrictions: The waitress will confirm with you in advance, and it will also be written on the menu.Parking: You can also park on the street for a fee, and there are plenty of them nearby.“
“Come here nearly every Monday night after the gym and no dish has disappointed! I usually go for the BOGO sushi, stir fry noodles, the Poke bowl or the ramen. Fish is fresh, prices are great and good seating too along with a nice outdoor option. It can get loud, but that never bothers me. Just a good thing to know if you want a quiet experience.“
“Amazing night at City Market Sushi. We're new to the area and we were brought here by our awesome friends (Christine and Tess). The service was perfect, the pace was smooth, and everything tasted great. We met the manager Jessie who is so sweet and accommodating as well. Cozy ambiance and great mood music added positivity to the experience. Can't wait to come back!“
“Recently came back from a Japan trip, expectations are high to have a comparable sushi in the states. We were a bit reluctant of the quality, but I must say it’s pretty good. The sashimi was fresh which should be. The rest are rolls and are good too and ample portions. The staffs are friendly and did not rush us. I would recommend this place, by far the best (for now) in the area.“
“They’re very friendly and the tables were clean! I had the Philadelphia and the snow roll and both were pretty okay although the flavor of the rice is a bit mild. The Mango sticky rice is not too sweet, pretty good! and it seems that they give you the coconut cream whipped on the side.“
“We came here on a Thursday night and was suprised to see they had daily specials! it was $4 off rolls (was a little disappointed it wasn't off speciality rolls as it didn't specify which rolls), but we still got 1 speciality roll & 2 traditional rolls. It was delicious! But the star of the show was the salmon crispy rice. The presentation was great but the crispy rice was phenomenal, so many delicious flavors and textures packed into a bite and a pretty good price. I would come back just for that. Yatai is located in Transfer co food hall and was easy to find. We ordered at the counter and then decided to sit at one of the tables. Loved the ambiance. I definitely would recommend this place and will be back again!“
“My sister lives near by and goes to Mizu with her family at least once a week. It's a MUST DO stop every time we visit. The owner, Jennifer is so nice and accommodating. She's always moving and getting things done for her customers and staff. They always ask for Twed as their server and she's on the ball! All of the staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. We always order fresh Sashimi, Yakisoba noodles and a hibachi. Always excellent!“
“Love going to Hayashi for lunch. They have a great deal on ? bento boxes. I recommend the Wolves bento box; you'll get a lot of food, including shrimp & vegetables tempura, chef choice sushi, sashimi, California rolls, and salad. I also love their ginger dressing!“
“This place was the best sushi I have had in a while the blue crab roll was amazing the crab flavor was so strong and good the sauces they put on top of their rolls 10/10 I will be coming back here all the time and they have amazing pork ramen bowls the eggs were cooked perfectly“
“Very cute place, I ordered their Iso Iso Ramen because it was the only spicy option they had. It was yummy, but the spice wasn’t very flavorful, it was just a plain/bland spicy. Employees were very kind & welcoming and our server was doing amazing.“
“Overall Rating: 5.6/10The restaurant offers spacious dining with private sections, contributing to a more intimate atmosphere. While the setting is visually appealing and the food generally good, certain aspects, including service speed and dish execution, were mixed.Atmosphere: 5.9/10The unique layout, with its divided sections, enhances privacy and comfort for diners. This structure, coupled with the restaurant's laid-back vibe and distinct appearance, makes for a visually inviting space.Service: 5.5/10Service is friendly but marked by noticeable delays, from ordering to receiving the bill, reflecting a leisurely pace that, while not problematic, doesn't stand out as exceptional.Food:Appetizer Sampler: 5.6/10A mixed bag: the spring rolls shine without the typical overpowering cabbage taste, and the crab Rangoon delights with its flavorful filling. The variety of sauces offers more options for tasting. However, the chicken satay disappoints due to its excessive dryness, nearing inedibility.General Tso: 6.1/10This dish stands out for its sauce and the inclusion of a diverse vegetable mix not commonly found elsewhere, offering an enhanced flavor profile. However, the chicken's lack of crispiness and minimal breading detracts from the expected texture.Pho: 6.2/10The broth is notably good, and the meatballs are flavorful, contributing to a satisfying Pho experience.Pineapple Fried Rice: 6.3/10Distinguished by its well-executed blend of various vegetables and flavors, this dish is a highlight of the meal.Value: 4.9/10At $78 for three people without leftovers to take home, the pricing feels high relative to the overall dining experience and the quality of food provided.Additional Note: The restaurant's vicinity includes 1 Pokémon Gym, adding a slight perk for Pokémon Go players looking to dine in an area where they can also engage with the game.“
“As a long time fan of James sushi I must say not happy. I have been eating James sushi since Hayashi days. To start with the service was mediocre and wtf they are charging to use a card! But what really got me was the "Siracha" that was not the taste I know so doubt it was brand name, taste really bad and so did the spicy mayo. Dude, not sure what's going on but we will probably not go back and I hate to say that. Please pay attention to what you change and how things are being prepared. I really hate to write this but I thought you should know.“
“Open air atmosphere makes for exciting but noisy encounters. My Bah Mee noodles were delish, although not heat hot. Plenty of spice here, but I prefer my temperature from the stove. My sister enjoyed Red Curry and her's was too hot to eat (stove and spice). The coconut shrimp were wonderful. I didn't try the sushi this time, but a table of gentlemen ordered a platter of assorted rolled and REALLY seemed to enjoy them.“
“This is our go-to sushi place whether it's to go sit on their patio during a nice evening or doing take out. New ownership over the past year is definitely seen -- they've upgraded the inside with a beautiful bar area and the tables/chairs outside are much more comfortable/enjoyable. Always get great service as well. If you're two people with a "good" appetite, try their Sushi for Two and if you could eat "a lot", then go for the Love Boat (for 2) -- amazingly fresh fish!“
“I have been looking for a hibachi place that competes with the one from my hometown, and I went to FIVE different places before I finally found this one. I came 2 days ago after work because I wanted to try it but they were closed due to a gas leak, no problem. I came back today and it was so good and the service was nice, they give you 2 containers of sauce. Definitely will come back and I’ve already told my friends about it.Parking: There were a good amount of spaces, it’s a hidden gem so there is always multiple spots“
“Our first time at Ajisai, but DEFINITELY not our last, everything was superb, we sat outside on the side, it was a great day and nice atmosphere with some chill music! Appetizers came fast, drinks were awesome and the entrees were incredible! 10/10 would visit again and recommend to anyone who loves excellent dining! Also, the prices were VERY reasonable compared to what I thought I would see in a non-coastal metropolitan restaurant!Pro Trip Tip: Try the Fried Fish Bones! (Even if you don't think you'll like it ;-) )Kid-friendliness: The host and waitress were both very kind and patient with our party!“
“While the food is amazing I was extremely disappointed with the service we received on January 14. We reserved the room for a work party and we had to wait forever and our server was extremely rude and seemed as if she didn’t care. My family eats there often and more times than not have fabulous service especially from the owner. Last night was a true disappointment.“
“Had a guy's night out recently, and we wanted sushi. We weren't able to make reservations at most places because of our larger party of 9. Hako was able to accommodate us, even though it meant driving a little further than we wanted. The food and drinks were outstanding. Our waitress seemed a little disorganized at first when taking our orders but ended up being great... very attentive and also quite humorous! For drinks, I would recommend the Ginger Cosmopolitan... for apps, the Crab Rangoon and White Tuna Tar Tar... for entrees, the Scary Jerry.“
“This was first time in. I ordered online for pick up, was super easy to do! They have a lot of options from build your own (multiple sizes), to pre-built suggestions. I built my own with regular tuna, brown rice and a ton of goodies! The tuna was good! Taste and quality was really good, sometimes you wonder how it will be and I was super pleased! The tea with pearls was an impulse purchase....I am so glad I did because it was magical, hahahaha!!! Definitely give this place a try, lots of food for your money and good quality ingredients!“
“I went on a Friday with friends and we had an awesome time because they had karaoke. We had a ball and the food was really good. I ordered sushi. The only thing I did not like is they serve your adult beverages in a small plastic cup and charge as if it is in standard glass.“
“Moving to NC from southern California 16 years ago made me search hi & lo for authentic sushi. Waraji is so consistent in delivery and presentation. Not the fanciest I have had like in NYC, Los Angeles or Mexico City, but always good and our go to every time we crave Japanese or sushi.“
“Friendly service as soon as you walk in the door. The restaurant is clean, and I love that they still offer gloves for people to use at the buffet.Food is served by the bowl, and they will let you take your leftovers home. This location also offers eggs on their buffet.Food always tastes fresh and delicious, and they check the bar area often to wipe it down and to replace food items. We will be back again.“
“Ordered Sushi Deluxe and Shrimp Tempura Roll. The food was so good, tasted fresh, and incredibly well prepared. Melissa our server was fabulous and had such great menu knowledge. She helped us with the menu ensuring we ordered the perfect dishes. The restaurant feels warm and welcoming and would highly recommend.“
“The food can be hit or miss, but the portions are always generous. We are always full and leave some for leftovers. One regular meal can be lunch and dinner for a regular adult sized person like myself. Very economical. An easy go-to if you want some hibachi.“
“We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly, attentive and knowledgable of mixed drinks and the menu. She offered suggestions and recommendations on the food and drinks. We visited during Happy Hour which featured half-price entrees. We ordered the mango summer rolls, crispy edamame spring rolls, crispy rice and the firecracker roll. DELISH! If you like good food, creative craft cocktails and great service, give this place a try!“
“Hands down the best sushi you will ever eat. Chef Chris's quality and care are seen in every dish. We have a lot of respect for the Owner who actually works shifts and busts his butt! Two thumbs up to Chef Chris and his amazing food!!!“
