“The best gluten free pizza I’ve had in NC so far. I saved my crusts for a car snack but ended up not eating them in the car, I made garlic butter croutons with them when I got home. The gf crust is sooo good.
I really appreciated getting a full size pizza that two people can share, not those tiny baby elf gf pizzas most places give you. And the cuppy pepperoni! I will definitely be back soon.“

“I love that they actually have green olives! I just ordered and had the best pepperoni and green olive pizza ever. The crust has a perfect texture and seasoning. Staff were friendly to me and suggested the special which saved me money. He also put extra green olives on my pizza which gets them bonus points from me. Great place, pizza, and people.“

“The AM Party at La Mala was an amazing experience from start to finish! The food was fantastic, the drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was absolutely electric. The reggaeton music kept the energy going all day and created the perfect vibe for a great time with friends.

What truly made the experience special was the hospitality. A huge thank you to Jesse, for providing us with a complimentary VIP table. Their attention to guests and commitment to creating a memorable experience really stood out and made us feel genuinely welcomed.

I first dined here in college when I was looking for some eggplant parmesan - since that day 20 years later it’s still my favorite Italian restaurant in Raleigh! Btw their eggplant parmesan uses in house ROASTED eggplant not fried and I cannot explain how delicious it is. I’ve likely tried everything on the menu by this point and not once have I been disappointed.“

“Nice menu, staff, and atmosphere but our last few takeout pizzas have been inconsistent which is a shame as that happened to us at our last regular pizza place (Shianos). When it's $21 for a large cheese there's gotta be better quality control. That being said, it's a good tasting pizza when it is well made.“

“Was visiting in Raleigh and we decided to try this place for the first time and im glad we did. We got the buffalo wings with ranch and a bottle of hot sauce for extra spice and they were some of the best wings ive had and that ranch is so good. We each got our own pizza, my son got pepperoni, wife got margarita pizza and i got a custom with extra pepperoni, sausage, extra onion and green peppers with 4 cheese and their original marinara sauce. Everyone loved the pizza. Just can’t beat a fire cooked pizza. Definitely give this place a try if you haven’t. Wish it was one here in VA but if we ever in the area we’ll definitely be going back.“

“This is a very nice restaurant and location. And it is not just a pizza joint. They have a fantastic menu and everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is absolutely, melt in your mouth delicious. “Stopped by to pick up a slice of pizza since this location is very close to my house. I discovered they had a wonderful 2 slice and 1 drink special for a cheap price! They gave me my order really fast and I took it to go. The pizza was amazing, I had to save one slice for later because I wanted savor it more. It heated back up perfectly and tasted just as delicious. I live only 2 minutes away from here so I will definitely be going back since it's cost efficient and a quick stop.“

“Tried out Timber Pizza last night after seeing them in my FB feed. Cool place, fantastic pizzas, and incredible original flavors! I had the Bentley, and my wife split hers to try both the Penelope and Norman. My favorite was probably the Norman, due to its originality and sweet/savory combination, but all were fantastic! And the staff were all very attentive and full of joy. You could tell they were happy working there and proud of their product... for good reason!

We also tried the pork empanadas, which were delicious!

Cannot recommend highly enough, but the suggestion to visit off hours was a good one due to limited space and parking. We got there at 5:30, and there were just a couple of parking spaces (due to the neighboring sports bar), but walked right in.“

“My family and I have been looking for our new favorite pizza place. We tried Johnny's for the first time last night, and we were really hoping this would be it.
The first bite of pizza was delicious..sauce, cheese, toppings...the flavor was all there. Unfortunately, the more we ate into our slices, we realized about 1/2 of the bottom of the pizza was burned. Not sure if this was due to uneven heat in the oven or lack of attention or what.

If it hadn't been burned, I would have easily rated this 5 stars.

UPDATE: Reached out to Johnny and his team & they were incredibly kind to give us another pizza to try, plus some extra goodies (the cinnamon bun/twist things are amazing!!) It was absolutely delicious, and we have been back a few times since! My family is so glad to have found this place.“
