“I have to say this is the best NY pizza I ever had. We had a big family gathering last week. The owner Zach, was very hospitable and friendly, exceptionally excellent service.Diffintely we will visit next time in town.Keep up the good work ??“
“My husband and I found this restaurant by chance, just looking for a new place to try. We had never tried Uzbek cuisine. It was so delicious and our server was wonderful. We had a delightful experience and just wish we could have tried more options. We got so full! We will definitely be going back!“
“Man, Oakwood Pizza is really great. Lucky to have a cool spot like this on person street. Whenever friends come in from out of town I try to get a pie for them to try. Highly recommend eating it as fresh as possible. Really great simple menu, the restaurant itself is small but very cool.“
“Amazing atmosphere with historical elements from NC state dating way back. Lots of sport memorabilia. Food was great and was incredibly satisfying. Service sucked!! Waiter never filled water glasses, took order and came back to be nice at the end so we would leave a big tip. Guess what? No way. Everything makes this the perfect dining spot but one bad waiter can taint your opinion. Would recommend for the food but be prepared to wait.“
“If you blink you’ll miss this place, but I promise you won’t regret eating here. I’m going to guess this is a family restaurant from the atmosphere. The food ?✨*chefs kiss* DELICIOUS I got the DeMos sandwich, pretty much a Philly cheesesteak, fries, a rice Krispy, wings, and a cannoli. The food came out hot and fresh. The flavor was immaculate. The wings were seasoned and sauced to utter perfection and they have literally the best restaurant ranch I’ve ever tasted. Even though parking isn’t the best in the area, not their fault it’s just downtown, this place is totally worth walking to. Also the staff are so warm and friendly! I’m glad this place isn’t on door dash, they don’t need the headache.“
“You’re wasting your time if you go to another pizza place. Mike’s pizza is the most authentic and genuine experience you can get around here.Parking: Plenty shopping center parkingKid-friendliness: Brought my baby and toddler. Never an issue“
“Don't judge a book by its cover!! That's all you need to know about Frank's. We were in Raleigh for the day and looking for some authentic NY style pizza. I found an article online that talked about how great Frank's is and we decided to give it a shot. Upon arrival, we realized we were in what appeared to be a sketchy part of town. Trash everywhere in the plaza parking lot and some shady looking characters hanging around. We came very, very close to leaving due to this first impression, but I'm SO glad we didn't. Once we were inside of the restaurant, the uneasy feeling we had in the parking lot disappeared entirely. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, staff was attentive, and food was off the charts!! Everything we ordered tasted like it was made from scratch and the prices were very reasonable. I hate that Frank's is likely losing customers due to factors beyond their control, like their location and the shady characters in the area. They really do rank among the best pizza joints I have ever eaten at. If you're in the area, please give them a try. It's worth it!“
“Just ordered from here for the first time. I love pizzerias, they have so much in one spot. My go to when trying a new pizzeria out is to order the Cheese steak. To me I feel like most pizzerias focus on my making excellent pizza and negligent their other menu items. Not this place!! The cheesesteak was amazing!!! The bread was soft and warm, the meat seasoned well, the mushrooms, pepper and onions were fresh and delicious. I couldn’t actually taste the individual favors of the vegetables. 10/10. Would recommend and I can’t wait to go back and try something new. Great jobs guys!“
“Always get cheese pizza. As pizza man from New York I can confirm this Pizzaria is the closest you’ll get to a NY/ Northern Pizzaria. As son of previous owner of slices and ices in wake forest and an employee of Difara in Cary. This pizza is closet I can get to home sense we changed businesses. I’ll most likely bring my family here in future. Food is cooked similarly to Lazio region of Italy. Pasta fagioli is good. Look forward to trying new dishes wanna see how good the manicotti is.“
“Robert told me this pizzeria is under new management with big Pat. Guys it is night and day the difference. I work at the airport and they are the only ones that will come out here!! Their pizza is the best no doubt about it!! Try them out again. Their wings are better than Buffalo Wild Wings.“
“Location was easy to find and there was plenty of parking spots. I ordered chicken penne Ala vodka and it was amazing. Also order Chocolate chip cookie dessert that had ice cream and hot fudge on top. It was out of this world. Definitely stop by if you are near the area.“
“Absolutely delicious pizza. Ever since we moved from east Raleigh we’ve been trying to find a Cary equivalent of our favorite pizza place on the other side of town and Ruckus is the winner. Our white pizza was a little on the greasy side, but other than that we loved the thin but not overcooked crust, the great blend of cheeses, pesto, and garlic. It was louder than we expected for a Wednesday night, but we still had fun and the 2000s emo playlist was an added bonus. We’ll be back!“
“I normally don’t do foodie posts, but this San Franciscan has found a fabulous little Italian hole in the wall restaurant! The garlic knots were insanely good, hot, and served with marinara. My Farmaggio calzone was not too greasy and scored to allow the cheese to ooze through. The bread was brushed in a buttery garlic glaze that made it crisp but not overly buttery. It’s been two years since I tasted Italian this good! I cannot wait to try their lasagna, Penne all’s Vodka and tiramisu!!!“
“We had a nice dinner on the front patio. It was very crowded and loud but manageable. Our pizza and beer were fresh and delicious. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable (she knew about the beer). Price point is fine with me but could be higher than what some would pay - $75 for 2 small pizzas, a salad to split, 2 beers, and $20 tip. PS - their pizza fresh out of the oven is so much better than take out.“
“When I first moved down here from New Jersey, my brother and I found Vivo. We were so grateful because where we are from, we are used to having top notch authentic Italian places close by. When we first came, we were ecstatic about the food. It made us feel like we were back home a filled a huge void that we had in the southern Italian scene. Pizza, pastas, and especially the pasta fagioli soup absolutely incredible never tasted a better version, in fact, as an avid home cook, I tried to dissect what they were doing to make the soup so flavorful and delicious. I came to the conclusion/assumption that they must have been blending some of the ingredients like the beans and veg into the broth, which gave it the perfect viscosity and flavor. I have recommended Vivo to over 100 people as a hidden gem of the area because of this soup alone lol.A little bit back, they started to make some changes. Starting with the menu, which eliminated both my brother and I's go to entrees (chicken cannelloni and linguine w clams/shrimp). Of course restaurants want to stay exciting and make changes which I support, but these changes did not seem to be going in a better direction. (IMO) We made adjustments because prior, everything was delicious. We started trying some new things and a lot of it still great, but the new items didn't quite do it like the old. If they did, I would have no complaints. Lately, the changes have become a little intolerable. Mainly because the quality of food has been falling off a bunch. My brother was always very into the chopped salad, the way it was finely chopped and loaded w great accoutrements, good acid, although now it has become more leafy, less dressed (mostly oil)less chopped, and less topped. The most heartbreaking change has to be the soup tho. It went from what I have called the best soup I have ever had, to what tastes like chicken broth out of the box. It lost all of its thick rich flavor and has been a huge disappointment which has led to our decline in going. I hate to talk like this about Vivo because they are great people who has brought us many great meals, but I want to bring awareness to whoever can control these variables that it is very recognizable to the customers. Whether it is to save time money or effort, it has been the cause of losing some of your most loyal customers and may not be worth it.There are still plenty of things that are incredible about Vivo, and I do plan to come back, but what was once a weekly routine that we looked forward to has fallen off our list of options quickly with the changes that have taken place over the past year. At the very least, bring the old pasta fagioli recipe back. I'm writing this review because we were just talking about where we should eat tonight, which used to not even be a question for our early in the week dinner routine, because we always wanted Vivos. And I'm sad to say that we don't consider it anymore because of the kitchens decline. I am still giving four stars because of all the joy that this place has brought us in the past. Thank you for reading and I hope management/kitchen take this in a way that can help Vivo in the long run.“
“Best pizza I've ever had. And they have some really unique pizza ideas, including sauces, cheeses, breads, even vegan options. All of them are delicious. They're often packed, so be prepared for crowds and noise.Vegetarian options: Vegan cheese is available. Red sauce and dough are vegan.“
“We've been going here for years and it's a winner every time. Always a lively, busy atmosphere and the service is consistently great. The menu offers a variety of options, and I recommend the fresh guacamole as a starter. The beer/wine menu feels limited to me, so I usually go for a yummy signature cocktail. There is limited seating on the patio so make a reservation if you want to dine outside and enjoy warmer weather. Overall, Tazza Kitchen Village District is two-thumbs up!“
“What a wonderful experience!!! Food was amazing, amazing service by Tanya and good decor too. Felt so comfortable and happy. Had the loaded potato skin and Greek pie pizza. Both were crispy, had fresh ingredients and lovely! Super full and couldn’t be at desserts. Will be coming again to try the other items on menu :) and all for reasonable prices!!!Dietary restrictions: Ask for specific ingredients or sauce info and they were super helpful. I swapped tomato base with pestoWheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“Excellent food! Not a bad choice on the menu! The meatloaf is real meat, not a bunch of filler! The burgers are thick and juicy. Salads are generous. The salmon is cooked just right! Pizzas are thinner crust with the right ratio of sauce to cheese.“
“discovered Avent Ferry Pizza, and I must say, it has quickly become my go-to spot for delicious pizza in town. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere, which immediately made me feel welcomed. The menu offers a wide variety of pizza options, from classic favorites to unique and creative combinations. The quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, while the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. Each pizza is prepared with care and attention to detail, resulting in a truly satisfying experience. What sets Avent Ferry Pizza apart is their commitment to customer satisfaction. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and always willing to accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions. They go above and beyond to ensure that every customer leaves happy and satisfied. In addition to their amazing pizza, Avent Ferry Pizza also offers a selection of appetizers, salads, and desserts. The variety allows for a complete dining experience, whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends and family. The prices at Avent Ferry Pizza are reasonable, considering the quality and portion sizes. The value for money is outstanding, making it even more appealing to visit frequently.Overall, I cannot recommend Avent Ferry Pizza enough. It is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. Whether you're craving a classic Margherita or a unique specialty pizza, this place has it all. With their friendly service, high-quality ingredients, and unbeatable flavors, Avent Ferry Pizza has become my favorite pizza spot in town. Give it a try, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed!“
“I saw this place on door dash and wanted to visit for a while. It was definitely better than I expected! I didn't realize they had so many options. I got the three cheese manicotti and it was delicious and well made. The amount of sauce and cheese was perfect and they have parmesan on the tables as well. The bread was outstanding, soft with a crispy crust. The sweet tea does have a lemony flavor which I enjoyed but I know not everyone might. My friend ordered the baked ziti and had no issues. Definitely give it a try!“
“Came here for the first time 3/22/24 and all I can say is, wow. This place is huge! And the cost of things here is ok. Can add up if u go to the food court tho. They have a bakery station, cake station, sandwich station, pizza station, I mean I lost count. They have almost everything. I think I stayed here almost 40 mins. But the place was very clean and staff seemed nice and professional. Sadly there's no Wegmans where I love so Raleigh is a good midway point. Awesome experience ?“
“Absolutely love it here! I've come here for years and its one of my favorite places to go when I am back home visiting. The pizza here is one of my favorites and I've ordered several things here which never disappointed. I look forward to coming back again soon!“
“Great service and great food!Parking: Handicap parking is weirdly placed on the opposite side of the building entrance. Regular parking is closer to the front door.Wheelchair accessibility: If you are by yourself, someone must open the door for you.“
“We went on Valentine's Day last minute. Was super busy but that was to be expected. We were seated within 30 seconds of confirming our reservations. Outstanding service, staff, and experience. The managers are super nice and gave use a complimentary dessert for our wait being so long, we hadn't even worried about it yet they took care of us without needing to ask. Will definitely come back“
“Very nice environment. I opted for the chili because it was quick and simple. The chili was very watery and more like soup. I asked to have it removed from my bill and the server was polite and addressed it immediately. I then ordered a burger to go and it as fair. Nothing special. I have eaten here before and the food and service was much better.“
“The service was excellent! It was my first time trying this place. The pizza was okay. We got the Flyin Hawaiian. The crust wasn't very flavorful. The toppings were good but not as great as I expected. I got a cocktail from Flask-connected to the restaurant, a negroni, and it was super bitter. I couldn't finish it. I will try it again. Maybe it was just an off night.“
“My new favorite restaurant, we moved to Creedmoor about a year and a half ago now and we have been looking for a restaurant that consistently delivers.Happy to say Milton's is definitely on our short list of favorites. Highly recommend just about everything I've tried here so far but the lasagna was really something special!“
“Overall Rating: 7.1/10The place has a nice look, with decent food and friendly staff.Atmosphere / Service: 9.1/10The atmosphere is full of positive vibes, with friendly and attentive staff. Everyone was smiling and looked like having a good time. The place is clean, offers a full menu, and has a laid-back pizzeria feel with an appealing outdoor area.Food:NY Cheese Pizza: 6.5/10This is a good cheese pizza with little grease and a crispy crust. However, it could use more flavor, especially from the sauce.Cheese Stuffed Garlic Knots: 5.9/10They were okay but a bit plain. They would benefit from some extra flavor or seasoning on top.Fettuccine Alfredo: 7.2/10The pasta was cooked just right, and the sauce tasted great, making for a satisfying dish.Buffalo Wings: 7.1/10These wings had the right amount of spice and were cooked perfectly.Value: 7.3/10Overall, the pricing felt like a good deal for the quality of food and experience provided.“
“This is my favorite pizza restaurant in all of Raleigh. The staff are always pleasant. The food is always top notch. Their pizza slices are big, thin, and loaded with the right amount of toppings. The garlic knots are drenched in garlic butter. … just perfect. The crust of the pizza is fantastic, which, to me, makes or breaks the pizza joint. For Randy’s, it makes it.I have eaten here for 10+ years at this location and in Morrisville. It never disappoints!!“
“Hands down the BEST pizza in Raleigh! After moving here last year from Chicago I’ve been disappointed in the overall “food” this area has to offer, especially the PIDZ!! A flyer was sent in my mailbox and I was elated to find this is a Chicago based chain!! I was finally happy to find an AMAZOS pizza that I can finally eat and truly enjoy!! ???. My only complaint is the hours. You need to open for lunch during the week also instead of after 3:30. I’ve ordered delivery and have done dine-in. Service is always friendly and fast. Please note for Non Chicagoans: if ordering a DEEP DISH PIDZ it will take 45-1 hr this is an amazing pidz worth waiting for and you will see WHY when you get it!! Enjoy ?????“
“I recently discovered Manhattan Pizza. So far, they haven't disappointed. They offer a wide variety of options on their menu. Besides their pizza, I have enjoyed their pepperoni rolls, spinach rolls, and Greek salad. (I can't comment on the Atmosphere because I have only used their delivery service.)“
“I stopped into Farina for a quick lunch while I was visiting the Lafayette shopping center. I heard Farina makes their pasta in house, I thought Gnocchi was the perfect dish to try! The gnocchi were soft and fluffy pillows of goodness. The marinara was perfect combo of acidity and sweet. The only thing I wasn't sure about was whether they used the square slices of mozzarella melted on top, rather than fresh Buffalo mozzarella. Either way, the food was great... I will definitely be back when in the area!“
“Mellow Mushroom in Brier Creek is the place to be. The best pizza around, best bar and the coolest atmosphere. Lots of drink options. They have more than pizza. The burgers and wings are excellent too!Parking: Big parking lot and easy access to parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, easy wheelchair access throughout.“
“My wife and I recently enjoyed a visit to Mega Pizza, and our choice was the 10-inch chicken pesto pizza. This pizza was not only well-made but also perfectly portioned for two people to share. The flavors were decent, and we appreciated the balance of ingredients. What truly impressed us was the convenience of ordering ahead of pickup. Calling in our order was not only easy but also a fun experience. The staff at Mega Pizza made the process smooth and efficient, ensuring our meal was ready when we arrived.Mega Pizza offers a hassle-free way to enjoy a tasty pizza. While the toppings were decent, the standout feature was the ease of ordering, making it a great option for a quick and satisfying meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was very relaxed and mellow, setting the stage for a pleasant and stress-free dining experience at Mega Pizza. It provided the perfect backdrop for enjoying a delicious meal without any rush or distractions.“
“OMG‼️‼️‼️ THE PIZZA ?WAS AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS ?I had the Margarita pizza and a regular slice ?Both were Absolutely Delicious ?‼️‼️‼️The owner Leo and his team were great ‼️It was my 1st time eating their pizza and I will be a regular customer and tell all my friends from NYC that I finally found a pizzeria that makes pizza like the authentic New York style pizza!!It’s the Real Deal ‼️Leo.. you were right ????????❤️?“
“Overall Rating: 5.6/10Ordered takeout for dinner, and it was fine but didn't stand out. The wings were definitely the better part of the meal compared to the pizza.Food:Thin Crust Pizza: 5.1/10The pizza was okay. The middle seemed too thick. The sauce was the highlight, adding some needed flavor.Buffalo Wings: 6.1/10The wings were the highlight – crispy and flavorful. I chose the mild option, and it was just the right level of spice, making them enjoyable.“
“We ordered food to go for the first time last night. The online ordering was very easy and user-friendly. They offer a wide variety of food besides pizza. We were in the mood for NY-style pizza last night with a few extras. We ordered the 18" cheese pizza, mozzarella sticks, and garlic knots. The pizza was very good and so were the garlic knots. The mozzarella were not my favorite but I think they could be if they were warmer. (There was no "cheese pull" when you took a bite). We ordered online and the original wait time texted to us was 7:17-7:32. That's a wide range for pickup. We placed the order at 7:02 pm. Almost immediately after the first text, we received a new time of 7:28-7:43. The slice app they use had a definite time of 7:38 pm for the food to be ready. We arrived around 7:38 pm and the food was warm, not hot/fresh out of the oven. I think the food had been ready and sitting for a while before our arrival. Given this issue, I think that's why the mozzarella sticks fell flat.I do not want to take away from the food as it was good and we will be back. I think next time we may arrive a bit earlier, even if we have to wait for the food. If it were a bit fresher, it would be five stars across the board.I would like to add that the garlic knots had a good amount of garlic on and around them. I hate when we order garlic knots and they arrive dry. The order was prepared correctly and the people working were nice. I will be back to try this place again and may order some of the pasta dishes!“
“Mona, Nil, and Jason were absolutely wonderful and accommodating! As someone who cannot have dairy, the vegan pizza made me feel like I was having real cheese again! Thank you so much for your great service and your great restaurant!Highly recommend!“
“I can’t say enough positive things about the staff here!! They were excellent! So friendly and nice! Not to mention they dropped everything to help my friends and I celebrate my friend’s birthday! It was so sweet of them! The service was awesome! We got our food quickly and our waitress was THE BEST! I don’t remember her name but she handled us like she was one of our friends! She was fast, fun, and funny! She’s studying to be a teacher and she’s going to be a great one for sure! Annalise is I think her name. Highly recommend this place for the staff alone but the food and the drinks were great too :)“
“The time you walk in the Restaurant you can feel the positive energy of the Establishment and the guys that work there, makes your dine in very comfortable. I advise anyone in the Raleigh NC area to try it out one time. They have the best lemonade on this side of the Mississippi River....!!!Vegetarian options: It has its perks“
“Pizza by the slice is a tough task to get right... You either got a crust that's to thin with toppings sliding off when you take a bite or a thick crust that gives your jaw a workout.I think these guys are on the right track.Great taste, great customer service, prices are fair.I had the bbq chicken pizza and a supreme for my sister!“
“This place is incredible! I had the Dante's Inferno pizza which was probably the best I've ever had. Not only was it spicy, but it had several different kinds of spice. They also made a specialty drink for the film I'm in called, "The Blind Date," which incorporated a small light in the actual drink! But the best part of all was the seemingly ENDLESS cheese strand in their calzones. It was the closest thing to tasting Heaven I've had in a while. My back was to the wall when I was holding this, it was amazing! This place truly is the table where memories are made.“
“Was in Raleigh and was looking for a slice of pizza. Found this on Google map. Across from NC State campus. A little busy, but service was pretty quick. Got only one slice. Pepperoni and Mushroom. Crist was thin. There was enough cheese and toppings to make it worthwhile. Big and good. There is a lot of selection. Definitely worth the trip.Vegetarian options: Cheese pizza and garlic knots.“
“Thank you, Pizza Express, for saving the day! I ordered delivery for a class party at a local middle school after a different pizza place made a mistake with my order, and asked Pizza Express to rush my order. They had it delivered in the blink of an eye, and before the end of the class period. Crisis averted, and a huge thank you to Pizza Express!“
“I tried this place for the first time in my life Saturday as my son and I were staying in Raleigh for the weekend. I ordered the special they had at the time with a two topping large pie with cheeses bread, wings and a 2 liter soda for roughly $30. I also got an order of their “Douby Douby Bread”. First thing I tried was the cheesebread. I instantly looked at my son all wide eyed and instantly started saying, “Bro.. Bro.. Bro.. Broo.. Brooooo!” So I see how they got their name. Everything was hot and fresh and was ready exactly when promised. Everything from ordering to pickup was extremely easy. Their marinara/sauce for the bread was to die for and hot (temperature wise) too. My son (8) was equally impressed and said we should come back more often. I agreed to do so even though we live over 2 hours away, close to Charlotte, NC. I intend to keep this promise. Amazing, thank you for the amazing food. My only regret is not tipping the bill because it was amazing! I would have added pictures but all I had left by the time we got back to hotel was bones and some garlic sauce remnants. Happy Customer Here!Parking: Located in a fairly large shopping mall with plenty of place to park.“
“Absolutely delicious Gourmet Stuffed Spinach & Mushroom Pizza! ? (which is quite possibly the *BEST* white pizza in the region)Also have a pretty good Chicken Alfredo.Garlic Bread can be hit-or-miss: sometimes great & soft, sometimes tough & dense…Having a costumer-exclusive semi-enclosed dining area somewhat separated from the rest of the mall food court is nice too.⚠️ONLY 1 FREE REFILL / DRINK!⚠️“
“I came in today 3/16/24 and I NEEDED to write a review. The servers were sooo friendly and laughing so lightheartedly. It brought such a livelihood to the ambience in the resteraunt. DEFINITELY coming back to experience this again.. I feel so welcome here and especially my server. I tipped her 100 percent!“
“Excellent pizza, terrible website and app. There have been many times we wanted Marco's, but we had to go elsewhere, because we couldn't order from the app or the web. The pizza at Marco's reminds me of what pizza hut tasted like in the 90s when they were still good.“
“Order the lasagna! We lived in the area for 14 years and this was our go to place for Italian. Whenever we are close by it is a must stop for us. Their lasagna cannot be matched. Trust me we've tried from coast to coast to find another. It can't be done. We surrender. We will only eat lasagna at Bella Monica forgoing forward ?“
