Also the very tall chef looked crazy walking out of the kitchen. Looks like he could put a hurting on somebody. Food is great tho but not a place to go eat inside. Always get it for takeout. I recommend the orange chicken with pork lo mein.”

“I recently visited a charming eatery - Kay’s Cafe’ - in Pembroke, NC - that left me absolutely impressed! The large cheeseburger I ordered was nothing short of perfection. The lettuce was incredibly crisp and fresh, the tomatoes tasted like they were hand picked straight from the garden still dripping with early morning dew, and the juicy hamburger with cheese was generously stacked between a soft sesame seed bun, perfectly complemented by just the right amount of mayonnaise, just the way I like it. And let's talk about their Sweet iced tea - it was so mouthwatering that I couldn't resist almost finishing it off before my order was ready! To top it off, the potato salad was a nostalgic delight, reminding me of the comforting flavors of my Grandma's own recipe. The menu truly exceeded my expectations, making me already planning my next trip to Kay’s Cafe’ in Pembroke, NC just to savor their delicious offerings again!”

“So I bought a cake for my daughters birthday from a different cake shop and spent a pretty penny hoping that this would be one thing on the long list of to do’s for birthday planning that I wouldn’t have to worry about… well upon pick up and taking it back home I realized that was not the case. The cakes space decorations were printed on edible paper. The edges of the planets were peeling and the image quality looked like the printer was running out of ink. The buttercream on the front had an inch wide crater running down it. It was such a huge disappointment. I did not want to have that at my daughter’s birthday, it was quite frankly embarrassing. In comes Tasha with Little Miss Cakes, my friend recommended her last minute and I was so grateful that anyone on a Saturday afternoon would even consider helping me fix this cake. Her email describing in detail what she could do to reimagine the cake was thorough. She made me feel like there was hope! And my god within a few hours, did this cake have a GLOW UP! It was fun, vibrant, and my daughter SQUEALED for joy when she saw it. I could not be more grateful! I never thought I would have a cake related emergency but she truly rescued this cake from the brink! Thank you again! And for anyone shopping around I HIGHLY suggest ending your search and buying a cake from Little Miss Cakes!”

Small dinning room with cute chairs but most people were ording takeout.
My friend goes there twice a week.
Although it's a dive she raves about it and has never once got sick which is a hugh plus for me.”

“The steak and chicken combo's are always tasty. The rice is always flavorful. The onions and zucchini are good. Only complaint would be to try and get less of the juice in with the veggies. Tends to get a little soggy and messy in the bottom of the plate. But overall a solid choice for Japanese take out!”
