“The best Mexican restaurant in gastonia. Hands down and one of our favorites overall. Atmosphere is great. Service is exceptional and the owners is in there every time we go. Working right along side the employees. Just to make sure you are having a great experience. Love it here.“

“My third time ordering from Azteca Family Mexican Restaurant. I had a perfectly cooked and seasoned Azteca Steak. It comes with jumbo shrimp, onions, green peppers, mushrooms and yellow rice. My daughter had Chicken Enchiladas. My order was ready before the specified time.“

“It's very good. Their tacos I have had a few times and have tried their quesadilla. They are all very good. The meat is well flavored and a higher quality steak is used compared to other places. I haven't been able to make it for half off on Taco Tuesday but it is awesome they have it. The staff is friendly and it is clean. I wish they used El Milagro taco shells but it is okay.“

“Got off work early today and called my husband to call in our order and I was going to pick it up leaving from the school so he calls me with the call merge and said that he’s been on hold for 10mins I’m in route with him on the phone I pulls in with him still on the phone and I purposely asked them what was their number none of them knew so she say google it then in the process she goes and gets her phone and have the number it was the same number my husband called so I told her that now by this time my husband has been on hold for 20 mins she says points at the phone and says no one is on that phone mind you I’m still hearing them from my end so she says where’s the other phone she goes to the kitchen and gets the other phone and all of a sudden it hangs up which she did it and says no one's on the phone I guess not you hung up and Lied about it for what she say oh yes I’m sorry about that no you going to lie instead for what for what and we both know you hung the phone up with him still on there“

“You can tell this food is made with love. And the ladies that run it treat you like family. I love going out to the gas house(Gastonia) so I can stop by Mamacitas! My favorites are the carne asada tacos, chicken burrito, chicken torta, and the churros ?? but I actually love everything here so much! I normally get the same thing every time I go anywhere else but I have tried something different every time for no reason other than being curious and REALLY enjoyed EVERYTHING I have tried! If you like to have some Horchata in your fridge every now and then I highly recommend it from here too!Vegetarian options: Everything can be vegetarian, just ask for no meat!Parking: Look for a large red food truck inside of a fenced in parking lot!Kid-friendliness: There are items that kids love on the menu!Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to the food truck.“

“Honestly the best food I've had! I got the bigger Pizzabirria and I highly HIGHLY recommend!! Also try their Jamaica drink (its kinda like a hibiscus tea!) It is SO good!! The guy was super nice and you couldn't ask for a better place to eat. Me and my boyfriend split it and we couldn't quite finish it all, we were SO full! If you're hungry, go here. “I absolutely love this place. It has had just a few rough periods through the years, but they are still amazing. The quickness of this restaurant is unmatched. We get our food within 15 minutes of sitting down, even after looking throughly through the menu. The togo orders typically have less food, and that would be my only complaint.“

“Lots of food in a homey restaurant that you might pass on the street and not think anything of it. The food was good and abundant.My quesadilla had pineapples in it which made it unique although it was so full of veggies that I couldn’t pick it up and eat it like a regular quesadilla. It just wasn’t what I was expecting although decent food.I did enjoy their homemade salsas and hot sauces.“

“I was honestly a little skeptical at first of the taco truck; however the quality of the food was good. They were friendly, and the food came out quickly. They also were very generous with how much carne asada they put in my torta(sandwich.) It is better than a lot of the taco trucks I've tried in the Charlotte Metro. I would definitely visit then again next time I'm in the Denver area. The taco truck is part of the Denver Mexican store, when you order your food, you go inside the store to pay for it.“

“I live in the area and I’ve noticed this restaurant since they started remodeling but today was the first time I stopped by I must say the restaurant is pretty nice and the food was very delicious not too expensive as well. I love that they make homemade tortillas and they’re humongous. Definitely my new restaurant to go to nearby. Will try the buffet next time .“

It’s very hard to find good Mexican food, and I really recommend this place to anyone. I’ve share my thoughts with employees at work, who is literally down the street from here. “Business lunch, always great service, great food, even eating healthier was pretty easy... I had the grilled shrimp on a salad, just enough, shrimp were grilled beautifully, My guest had the ribeye, and enjoyed it although he was not asked how he wanted it cooked?
