“It is an old school restaurant with great food. They have a menu with a lot of choices including a great breakfast selections. They also have a buffet line in which they serve you.On the buffet they offer 4 meat choices and eight or ten vegetable choices. I had Country style steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and greens. It was one of the best meals I have had this month. This is a great southern style restaurant with excellent Mediterranean choices also.Go and check it out!“
“Dawn’s Cafe is a small diner in or near the industrial area. It was exactly what we were looking for……a little diner with a basic menu. We both ordered French toast with crisp bacon and crisp hash browns. French toast was pretty good, but could have been a bit browner, bacon was crisp, as ordered but hash browns were not…All served on paper plates. Service was good and waitress would have taken the hash browns back, but we were ok. Everyone was very friendly and we loved the atmosphere. Only turn off was a jar at the register with a tip sign for the cook and cashier which was unusual.“
“This is my favorite restaurant on campus. The burgers are fresh and juicy, unlike what you can get elsewhere on campus. The burrito bowls and pancakes are good as well. The boars head sandwiches are great if you need to grab lunch for later. Everything here is so good and it’s worth the drive/ ride on the shuttle.“
“Wow!!! I can't believe how many times I've driven by this little place and only just today actually tried it. Had I known I would have definitely stopped sooner. Its right next to the post office and had I not seen someone else enter before me, I would have been confused on where to find it. It's just a single glass door on the side of the building. No open sign, name of restaurant or hours posted on it. First of all, the service was amazing. So friendly and sweet! Both ladies that waited on us were awesome. secondly, the menu has all sorts of delicious options that anyone can find something they like. It's super casual inside. They have the country diner vibe down. Tables and chairs in the center and some booths around the perimeter. They have regular menus but definitely check out the specials board next to and the host/cashier station and huge wall size chalkboard on the back wall. That chalkboard is where the cool kids order from. HA! Just kidding! As far as I'm concerned, there is nothing on any menu that is not delicious. I'm now on a quest to take note of all the little out of the way places I come across. Who knows what kind of gems I've been missing all these years!“
“The reason I give it a four is The place is very nice with all the decorations and the old music! . Been here couple times but some the the times I been there the waitress would be in bad mood and act angry not sure why, but otherwise it's pretty nice there I recommend going there for some breakfastKid-friendliness: Employees wave back or smile back at you❤️Wheelchair accessibility: At the door there is a slid thingy(forgot what called-) for it make it easier for people in wheelchairs“
“We could not have found a better diner on our trip, and we even went back for a 2nd meal here before we left town. Our food came out quick, was all the right temperatures and exactly as ordered, and it was ALL exceptionally yummy. The entire staff was pleasant and attentive.“
“Me and my boyfriend actually just left from here, and it was fantastic! The food was absolutely perfect and cooked amazingly, it came out surprisingly quickly, considering my boyfriend got ribs, it was very affordable ($25 bucks for two is GREAT especially in this economic climate lol), and we had a very sweet and knowledgeable server, her name was Heather. She was always checking in on us, filling up our drinks before we even knew they were empty, and just generally being a fantastic server. We are definitely coming back!“
