This place is a gem and a walk back in time. Ladies at the counter are super sweet and the food is just fine and very inexpensive. No wonder it’s so popular w the locals. So many comments about cleanliness in th reviews but I do t see what they are complaining about. It’s an old place but seems to be doing great. Would happily return if passing by again.

The BIG yearly horse trading event was in Troutman today. The lines were long but they kept them moving QUICKLY. Even though they were busy my order was brought to me correct and everything tasted great.

I’m leaving the review on the insane rule y’all have stating that it’s not y’all’s problem if condiments aren’t given if you don’t check your stuff before driving off. That’s the dumbest thing and more than half the time your staff doesn’t give what they should, and people are paying 50 cents extra for nothing. It’s happened to me every time I’ve been there and sorry, I don’t have time to sit there and go through everything when I have hungry kids screaming...
