The cookies are a perfect, soft, and chewy texture and the custard is so creamy and flavorful. It was a huge ice cream sandwich! I could only eat half and saved the rest for later. My husband got the strawberry shortcake custard, which was also really good!“

“Small and quaint little establishment. Every time i visit for a bite to eat, they have a steady flow of customers coming through. And they always get everyone out in a timely fashion. The food is really good, cooked To order, hot and fresh, and exactly how i like it. You can't beat that. The customer service is quick but not rushed and i love a quick unrushed situation. Boy do i!!! The staff is super nice as well. Not chic fila nice, yet accommodating enough. “I was supposed to meet someone here, but plans fell through, so I decided to check this place out on my own. I had a spring roll, Dan Dan noodles, and a Wong Lo Kat herbal tea.The spring roll was good. The Dan Dan noodles were delicious and had a nice kick. I also really enjoyed the Wong Lo Kat tea. It had a very pleasant floral taste.This restaurant reminds me of the more authentic Chinese spots I tried in Flushing, NYC. I will definitely be back soon.“

When I have the ability to order from Village Juice, I always choose to do so because the food actually doesn’t hurt my stomach… the ingredients are quality and actually nourish me instead of the issues I usually have. “We dined here on our way through Winston-Salem. The food was delicious and everyone was really friendly and helpful. The Paneer Tikka appetizer was to die for - it ranks up there among the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The Paalak Paneer and the Mint Chicken Tikka were also excellent. “I ordered dinner from this little place on DoorDash one Sunday afternoon; I was drawn in with their low prices, wide variety of food options, and they have a low delivery fee. I ordered a cheeseburger, a chili dog with onions, and the spaghetti with meat sauce. I recommend this place for their prices, but here’s why you’re getting what you pay for: The Cheeseburger: when ordering your toppings, take their options VERY LITERALLY. I ordered my burger with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mayonnaise, and “melted cheddar cheese”. In my mind, I’m thinking “they must steam melt the cheese over the grill”, versus the “cheddar cheese” option which I assume is just that but I took it as “a cold slice of cheese placed on after the party comes off the grill.” The burger I had was left half eaten because this cheese-flavored product they put on was farrrrr too sweet for my palate. But at the end of the day, this was my mistake for ordering it. I won’t make that decision again. 4/10 The Hot Dog: pretty decent, nothing super special about it. The Frank was definitely all-beef, which I can appreciate. The onions, I think, could me minced instead of diced. 6/10 The Spaghetti w/Meat Sauce: for a restaurant, I’d say it’s poor. For a cafe attached to a Citgo? It’s decent! The noodles were a little chewy, I’m assuming they weren’t made fresh to order, and the sauce was hearty but could use a little more seasoning. Even a dash of oregano, basil, red pepper, cumin, and garlic powder would really enhance the overall depth of flavor to your sauce! 7/10 Overall, again, it’s not a bad deal for the price you pay. It was the cheapest DoorDash delivery I ever had, even after adding a tip. I would still recommend, if you want to order different options at once.“

I think it's more museum and gift shops than a bakery itself, but I really love this place, the display part brings me some vintage nostalgia feelings. The lady at the entrance and the cashier dressed in old costumes, and the lady had a really warming smile. I didn't get any bakery there this time, they look kinda sweet, but would love to try some other time.“

“The staff was very nice and accommodating. The place has an old loft feel to it. As for the food, some items were really good and others not so much. The pork chop was amazing. The mac and cheese was more like aldente pasta with a bland sauce mixed in. Those who had the salmon enjoyed it. The Shrimp and grits needed a good bit of salt and pepper to help them out. We were told it was a new menu, though, so maybe they need more time perfecting.“

“Random find for Thai food on Valentine’s Day and our day was absolutely made. The owner was our speed entirely. True to himself, sarcastic, dry humor. We all had the best laughs. Not to mention the food was absolutely incredible. We left and my friend from out of town, says.. that was the best dining experience ever. By the time we left, we felt like family. 15/10. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but I will definitely be back!“
