“Food was really good, had a barbecue sandwich with slaw (not red). It was good, everyone else liked their food. They serve Pepsi products which is a plus for me, they serve Cheerwine to. The service was good, our waitress was very helpful. Also enjoyed the house made chips.“

“This place has an awesome back patio for enjoying delish burgers and cold beer. It’s ordered at the counter and brought to your table. We shared a half chicken and a Madrid burger, so yummy. The front outdoor space is neat too, great for people watching. There’s also lots of inside seating if the weather doesn’t cooperate. I will be coming back here.“

“By far my favorite Italian restaurant in Winston-Salem! It's a small place that screams family owned and they have a a pretty good variety of dishes and seemed to be very amenable to any customizations. The staff were all very friendly and truly try to make your experience tailored to you. As far as the food. You get bread service with an amazing olive oil and herbs dip. The salad and house dressing were both very good. The entree's were very hearty portions and absolutely fantastic.“

“Pancho Villa was the best Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten at. The service is 5 star, the food 5 star and the atmosphere was 5 star. Food took no time to get to our table and was delicious. They even offer lunch specials on Saturdays! If you are in the mood for Mexican cuisine and want an experience that will exceed all expectations, please visit Pancho Villa. You will not be disappointed.“
“We had an almost 90 person wedding welcome party here, and everyone had an absolute blast. The staff was very accommodating, and provided wrist bands to our guests for drinks. We were able to reserve a handful of tables, which made it easier to setup decorations etc.Would recommend!“

“After a couple years of not visiting OutWest, my wife and I decided to take a chance and give them a try.We are glad that we did!We arrived and were seated almost immediately in the main dining area.A familiar face from our past visits years ago showed up at our table. She has always been an excellent server and this evening was no different. As always her timing was spot on as she got our drink orders to the table quickly. For dinner, my wife ordered a filet and I had the prime rib. During ordering, our server was sure to discuss with me, cooking options for the prime rib to be sure it was to my liking. (I've never been spoken to by server on prime rib cooking options before.)When the food came out, everything was perfect. Our steaks were both exactly how we like them. Our side dishes were delicious. Quick note to the roasted stuffed tomatoes. They are excellent.Overall our dining experience was a best all time. Hands down the best steaks we have ever had out. The sides and salads were spot on with perfect portions. We can't say enough about our servers timing and tableside friendliness. We will request her when we return for dinner at OutWest in the very near future.“

“I really enjoy this place! I haven't tried everything on the menu but I do have a few choice favorites! The Pittsburgh Steak Salad with the lemon vinaigrette is top notch, as well as the Jail Bird Jerky and the Ruben Croquettes!! The drinks are super good, if you are a light weight, then you'll be good off of one. If you're a heavy weight, then you'll probably be good off of two, lol!!! I definitely recommend this spot.“

“I work in downtown WS, and I greatly enjoy eating at Courtside Cafe for lunch at least once a week. The food is consistently great with great taste. There's anything fancy about Courtside Cafe, but in an era where fads dominate dining, Courtside knows what it's good at (great food with great service) and focuses on delivering that experience every time. I've never had a bad experience, and I recommend that you go soon!Parking: There is no immediately available parking besides on-street. I walk, and I think 90% of customers do as well.“

“This is such a hidden gem of a breakfast/lunch diner. The food is amazing and tastes like the best homemade, wholesome fare you could make.I highly recommend the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and sweet potato casserole that is dessert without being overly sweet. 10/10 love this place. Also it is cheaper than McDonald's down the road and they do takeout if you don't have time to sit down.“
“Went Here For the First Time a couple weeks ago my son and I were out riding our motorcycles. We stopped in had a a few of their craft beers and really enjoyed them. Definitely going back to atmosphere and service was great the guys behind the bars know a lot about the different types of beers they have. If you like craft beers this is one you should go to.“

“(3.5 stars) Given that Penny Path's High Point location never reopened, I was glad to see that the Winston-Salem branch was still alive and kicking. Penny Path offers a commendable selection of both sweet and savory crepes. Though the timing of our visit (a Sunday afternoon) steered me toward the latter, offerings like banana foster and fruit cheesecake made the sweeter stuff hard to pass up. I ultimately went with an Herbs de Provence (mozzarella, spinach, tomato, and herb garlic butter) to which I added rosemary ham, and it was phenomenal: nicely browned, crisp on the edges, buttery, and well-balanced. Even with an upcharge for the added meat, the price wasn't unreasonable. That being said, Penny Path should be avoided at all costs when busy. It's small inside without an abundance of seating, and it gets loud. Fortunately, there is more room on the patio, and we were able to eat outside. Unfortunately, there was a significant wait to get a table, a significant wait to order once we did, and a significant wait to actually get our food after that. Our server was pleasant and apologetic, but Penny Path was clearly struggling to keep up. If you can catch them during an off-peak time, Penny Path's array of crepes won't let you down, but if they look crowded, come back another time unless your craving is strong enough to outlast a lengthy wait.“
“This is one of my favorite breweries in Winston-Salem. Everyone that works here is absolutely amazing but my favorite has to be Billy, she is super knowledgeable and always on top of everything. My favorite beers to drink here are definitely the Mocha blond and the vanilla coffee porter. It is also convently located close to everything in Winston-Salem.“

“Easily the best, freshest gyro I've ever had. It was overflowing with perfectly grilled meat and uniformly diced veggies, with the perfect amount of taziki sauce. It was even wrapped in paper to make it easier to handle.Combine this delicious sandwich with the amazing service and local atmosphere, and you've easily got one of the best lunch destinations in town!“

“We tried this place for the first time this weekend after hearing a lot of good things, and we were absolutely not disappointed! Despite being very busy, the restaurant had a nice, chill vibe to it. Our server was very friendly, quick with anything we needed, and our drinks stayed full. She recommended a boneless wing sauce to my husband that turned out to make for the best boneless wings we've ever had (and his standards for those are sky high). The chicken was fresh, tender, and the bourbon molasses sauce was absolutely delicious. The fried pickles as an app were good - the batter would have benefitted from a little more seasoning, and overall a little more flavor would have made them perfect, but overall enjoyable! I got a grilled chicken club, which I really enjoyed. The croissant was fluffy and soft, and the grilled chicken itself was perfectly cooked. The fries were awesome - well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and crispy. Every plate that went by us to another table looked phenomenal too...next time, I'm definitely interested in trying a flat bread and the salad bar!“

“Stopped in for a quick bite.. we’ve been on this Mediterranean kick, and they had good reviews and let me just say that the food was fresh and delish! We had gyros, taco on a pita and baklava. Service was friendly and fast and very clean establishment. It must be popular among the locals because the staff knew the customers and the customers knew each other also. I would definitely recommend them for a quick bite!“

“This is definitely a southern diner vibe. Food was excellent--breakfast is served all day! And the service, even though it was very busy, was timely and acceptable. I had the "route 66 diner" breakfast, and it was more than I could eat. I recommend this restaurant the next time you're in or close to Kernersville, NC.“

“One of our go-tos in downtown - the food is always delicious! We especially love the outdoor patio when the weather is nice. Tonight we started with a pork arepa and chicken tamale. Both had great flavor and a generous portion. For our main dishes we stuck with our usual favorites of the steak sandwich and crispy beef bowl. We always leave full and satisfied. The only downside to eating here is that things generally move pretty slow and it can take a while for your server to make it back to your table. So make sure you aren't in a hurry when you come here.“

The Duck Breast was very wonderful with the Manchego polenta, figs and the red cabbage brought it all together! Well done Bernardins. well done!“

“Our table had the crab stuffed portabella (amazing), crab stuffed flounder (not dry, not over sauced, seasoned great), crab legs cooked to perfection, oysters cooked as ordered, fried foods were not over battered. Calamari was chewy and seared tuna wasnt seasoned much and a little fishy. Its a little loud and seating isn't that comforrable for the older people.“

“I was supposed to meet someone here, but plans fell through, so I decided to check this place out on my own. I had a spring roll, Dan Dan noodles, and a Wong Lo Kat herbal tea.The spring roll was good. The Dan Dan noodles were delicious and had a nice kick. I also really enjoyed the Wong Lo Kat tea. It had a very pleasant floral taste. This restaurant reminds me of the more authentic Chinese spots I tried in Flushing, NYC. I will definitely be back soon.“

“I made it a point today to seek out this small, hole-in-the-wall taqueria. It's located in a small, very worn strip center, fronted by an Exxon convenience store. The interior is a narrow, rectangular shape with 6 or so booths available for dining in, and though worn and dated, the area is bright and clean. You order at the register, which I did, and my order was quickly taken, efficiently & with a smile. My order consistently of Chorizo Tacos (4) , a single Sope with carnitas as the meat of choice, and an order of Cheese and Pork Pupusas, which comes with a side of spicy slaw! This was plenty of food, at least half of which would travel home with me. And included with my order was a nice quantity of chicarrones de harina (a pinwheel shaped, puffed wheat, very popular, Mexican street snack) along with a small container of the house salsa. These wheat puffs are easy to make, not especially labor intensive, so I assume they, liked everything else, were made in house. I had this many times from street vendors in several different open air markets in Mexico City. These from this restaurant are nice and crunchy, but a bit under seasoned - missing was a healthy dash of saltiness! But dipping them in the provided salsa made them a moot point - this salsa is smoking. and you may, as well! The Sope was layered with a plentiful amount of fork tender, shredded carnitas, and though the traditional outside crust was absent, this was a righteous item. The Chorizo Tacos were equally good with plenty of fresh tasting , ground sausage topped with chopped onion and cilantro, with fresh sliced radish and lime wedges providing additional flavor and texture. Only one tortilla per taco is used here, so there will be more than a little spillage - napkin up for sure! The Cheese and Pork Pupusas were hearty & well grilled, but a bit bland on their own - that's where the spicy slaw and salsa come to the rescue. Excellent food, great service, and nice value - hard to see a reason not to seek this local spot out. Ambiance - 2 Food - 4.5 Service - 4.5 Value - 4.5“

“This is a buffet style restaurantWhere you order the food in bulk. This is not an eat-in establishment. You order by the pound. Everything is made fresh. You can see them preparing their tortillas. The prices are reasonable and the food is real authentic Mexican cuisines. This is the place go if you want feed a family or 5+ people. Highly recommend!“
“Really great brewery with indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs are allowed inside the taproom, which I really appreciate since the winter is otherwise a hard time to visit breweries with pups. While their beers might not be the "best" in Winston, they offer a wide variety of beers and they are tasty! The bartender was great and you can order food from the restaurant next door, which makes it really easy to sit and chill for a while. We will definitely visit here again!“

“I have stomach problems and it seems like every time I eat anything or drink anything it comes with a price. When I have the ability to order from Village Juice, I always choose to do so because the food actually doesn’t hurt my stomach… the ingredients are quality and actually nourish me instead of the issues I usually have. Thank goodness for Village Juice!“

“The perfect batch burger.... Just like the name, it was a perfect burger! What a surprise and I am not sure why I waited this long to try that place. The place is right in downtown area (5th street). Well known place for Liverpool fan but really they have the best burger in Winston Salem! Big plus for me is that they offer sweet potato fries as a side and it came fresh and super hot (not like other places would give you cold and sad sweet potato fries).“

“Great bagels. Awesome bagels. They are a delight. The only downside is even when you request just a smear of cream cheese, it’s taken to mean that you would like an entire carton of Philly cream cheese on each bagel. So, if you like more bagel than cheese(like one does), you’re stuck in the parking lot with a plastic knife and some napkins that you scrounged on a previous visit to your floorboard scraping away the half gallon of cream cheese that they deemed appropriate for your bagel. Then your hands are all sticky, and some gets on your shirt, your passenger seat, your child, dog in the back seat, etc. everything gets saturated with cream cheese. It really doesn’t matter what you request. I’ve done this experiment many times. Your bagel will come out with a years worth of cream cheese on each bagel, plenty enough to drop off extra at the rescue mission or give to Philadelphia expats who might be lonely for a taste of home.“

“This was my first time going to this one in Kernersville but I use to go to the one near the Palladium. I went to the take away counter to get something for dinner for my husband. It was simple, fast, and easy. The food wasn't anything spectacular but was ok according to my husband. There was only one thing that I would say could have been seen as negative and unprofessional. There was one teenage girl at the to go counter and one slightly older teenager in the little room right beside the to go area. They were bickering back and forth with each other almost the whole time. They weren't excessively loud or anything but it could have rubbed some customers the wrong way. I also think it was a little over priced also.“

“Saw this place on tiktok and got a couple of recommendations for it so decided to give it a try. It was well worth every penny! I ordered the oxtails, yams and the mac & cheese. All the food was delicious. The lady serving us, who I'm guessing was the owner, was very polite and helpful. She could tell we'd never been there and offered us a piece of sweet potatoe pie. “Back on this side of town again, so I decided to try this taco spot. This is a small place but the rather plain seating seems adequate. The interior is clean and colorful.I chose to try the Chorizo Tacos. They were busy, even before 11AM and it took over 20 minutes to get my order. This little spot was busy and noisy, not a relaxing wait for my food choice - much different than the atmosphere at it's down the street neighbor, El Rancho! Don't think I would choose to dine in here when busy. Now to the food - these Chorizo Tacos were outstanding, layers of deep flavor taken even higher by the sauces that accompanied them. The red pepper sauce will get your attention and hold it! The Verde sauce is milder for sure but has the required tartness. The tacos cost $2.44 each and the 12oz can of Coke was $1.25 - rather inexpensive quick lunch! This is yet another taqueria in the area that I'll revisit - for the Menudo, Carnitas, and the Birria Tacos for sure.“

“I’ve been in Kville for 10 years. Decided to go to this location, (finally..don’t know why I’ve never been). I’m originally from SoCal, and my man is from TX, so we know good Mexican food. Hands down, this place is best I’ve been to in this area. We had chips and salsa almost before we sat down. Waiter (Gustavo I think his name was), was super friendly, and helpful, and went above and beyond for us. The food was awesome, and the service exceptional. Not to mention, the reasonable price… and it was with 3 beers!!! We thought they didn’t charge us for something initially. lol. Anywhoo…highly recommend. Stupidly forgot to take pictures, but my Tejano man said he wished he could’ve hugged the cook!! ?“
