I highly recommend the grit bowls which have a non-traditional texture for grits, but they both taste amazing. “I love that this is my neighborhood cafe. They have the BEST fried chicken biscuit I’ve ever had. I love their garlic Parmesan fries with the Alabama white sauce. And not to mention they may have one of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever tasted. I usually take out but I’ve also eaten in and love the atmosphere and the staff is amazing! “I have celiac disease and was struggling to find safe places to eat on our vacation. Looked online and found out they had a gluten-free menu, so we decided to give it a try. It was amazing. Staff wad amazing and educated on celiac disease. First restaurant I've been too that asked if I wanted the grill cleaned and gloves changed. The atmosphere was great as well. The eggs Benedict were so good. We stopped again on our way home and they remembered us which wad great!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu and they will clean space and change gloves if you ask.“

“Walked into a nice chilled atmosphere with couches, high top bistros, tables and chairs, and benches... there was a nice cowboy picking on a guitar playing live music... I was immediately greeted. I did feel a bit overwhelmed when I looked up at the menu, so I just ordered my fav chi tea latte with oat milk. It was very good. Service was fast and price was comparable. I browsed the store next door, and it has some super cute bohemian style stuff!! The staff are very friendly! I was very comfortable sitting there next to the live music and reading my book! I will definitely be back!“

“Fast, friendly and thorough service. Food was ready very quickly, however, personally the shrimp and grits were not the best that I've had. The scallion and bell pepper taste was overpowering as they were still almost raw as I would have preferred them to be sauteed with the shrimp. Great selection of drinks that were extremely colorful and refreshing. Restaurant size is small compared to the amount of customers that are packed in which makes the atmosphere a little noisier than I would have desired.“

“The cafe is part of the art museum and what a treat it was for our visit. There was a large party of lovely ladies speaking French, a smattering of children visiting with their mothers, and a few other visitors such as ourselves enjoying the lovely fall Wilmington weather and the lunch fare available. You really must go if you are in the Wilmington area. It is a wonderful experience for young and old alike.“
“I came in with my active 2 year old grandson this morning. We were waiting for the Train Museum to open and it was chilly outside…just killing time. The young barista was so patient with us. She helped me out by bring our food and drinks out to the table and she made change so I could feed the meter. Great customer service :)“
“I hadn’t been to Drift in a long time but was able to stop in for a coffee the other day. I received some of the best customer service from their new manager. She was so friendly, knowledgeable about product, and beautiful! It was a pleasure to have her help. I will definitely start making drift a more regular spot because of her.“

“I come here often because it's close, but they're always pretty fast about their service, no matter if you go inside or the drive thru. It has a stronger coffee taste than other coffee shops and I like that. Food portions are a little on the small size and aren't always the highest quality. Normally get a something simple and build off it so I can make it the way I like it. Would recommend and am going back.“

The image of the board (2 pics) is SOME of the shake flavors!!! Then we tried the energy tea's & holy shirt balls they're fantastic! Shakes are 200 calories, 10g sugar & 24g protien (give-or-take a few cals/grams depending on added extras, extras don't add cals or sugar I don't think tho).I recall hearing about Herbalife years ago & never got into it, but I'm a new addict! Starbucks will be missing my daily $7ish cuz this is my new spot! Note: no food here cuz the shakes ARE a meal (it's actually 2 meals for me, breakfast & lunch!) and the energy teas are better than any s-bucks drink (MINUS the sugars & ADD the healthy stuff!!). All staff is SO great, patient & they'll walk you thru the order process & answer all questions!Staff & owners here really go the extra mile & shakes are seriously delicious. Fantastic healthy meal replacement or energy-teas.If you're a small-meal person like me, I recommend splitting a shake to halve the cost.
