“I cannot say enough within this review to express how excellent Benny’s is. Firstly, the atmosphere is capturing from the exterior in. A beautiful, classic pizzeria with luxury table tops, stained glass fixtures, rustic wood floors and brick walls that provides an elegant yet warm feel throughout the dining experience. The service and hospitality were superb; every interaction from the host, bartender, server, and manager allowed me to feel welcomed and accommodated. Each member went above and beyond for my friend’s engagement celebration. We were greeted promptly and generously. I met the manager, Drew, and my server, Lauren, who were both fantastic. Lauren made us the best cocktails. She even juiced real apples to make the most phenomenal drink I have ever had. We ordered a pizza and Strombolis, which were all fantastic. They both came with a fresh salad and warm, crispy fries. We ended our experience with gelato, and even though our bellies were so full and happy, I don't think we could ever go back without getting the gelato for dessert. Everything was clean, beautiful, and tasty—just perfection. If you want a fun evening with exquisite food, friendly service, as well as a memorable experience, Benny’s is the place to go. Definitely a 10/10 all the way around and one of the best places in Wilmington to dine. Amazing for a celebration with friends and family or just a date night. Highly recommend!”

“BEST dinner and service we’ve experienced in such a long time. Our server (Frank) was amazing, attentive and taught us how to pour red wine 😂 For appetizers we had fried okra. Clam chowder and crab dip. Dinner was blackened salmon with risotto and green beans, fried haddock fish basket with fries and slaw, broiled seafood platter. Risotto and asparagus. Desserts were crème brûlée and blackberry cobbler with ice cream. We will absolutely be returning!”

Michael had shrimp and grits and we had a nice, romantic dinner. Evan was our server and he treated us like we were VIPs. Highly recommend this restaurant is so close to our home.”

“This Crumbl location in Wilmington NC is supreme. I go nearly every week and the cookies always look like the website. The wait is never too long. Sometimes the popular ones sell out some days especially on Saturdays so try to get there earlier.”

“I have eaten Sushi all over the US as well as Asia and (not to mention) Japan. This place is very authentic and the sushi is just amazing. I only order sushi but my husband always gets a cooked dinner and he says they are amazing as well! The staff is attentive and the sushi chef (I believe owner) is fantastic. I sometimes get supermarket sushi as Genki is not real close to me. I used to appreciate it was “just supermarket sushi” but after Genki (10-12 times) it’s real hard to get a quick supermarket fix. Actually right now I’m salivating!”

“For a special occasion last week, we travelled from Durham to Wilmington try this restaurant. We were NOT disappointed and it was so worth the trip! The dishes were all plant-based absolutely delicious. Even if you are normally a carnivore, you will not miss having meat. The restaurant space itself is beautiful and very tasteful and relaxing. All the staff were super friendly and hospitable. Felt like I was saying good-bye to friends when we left. Looking forward to my next trip to Wilmington!”

“TLDR; I dragged my feet on visiting The Little Dipper for over ten (10) years. If you haven't been - RUN don't walk!

I've lived in Wilmington since roughly 2012 and have always planned on visiting, but dragged my feet until last week. A HUGE mistake!! The partner and I planned a date night, made a reservation, and headed to the Little Dipper to check out their "Traditional" 3 course fondue dinner. We were greeted by the kindest hostess (who sat us five minutes before our reservation) and our server was with us only moments later to take drink orders. Our server was amazing and the service itself was *exceptional! With so many years in the restaurant industry, it does something for my soul when the waitstaff are friendly and obviously enjoy where they're working and what they do! Not only was the service flawless- the food was UNREAL. After visiting a chain fondue restaurant in the area, I thought I "didn't like fondue"- evidently I had never had GOOD fondue! Who knew! The "Chedder Ale" cheese was rich and the depth of flavor had me wanting to lick the bowl. The cheese plate was hearty and filled with meats, breads, crackers, and fruits and (While I can't recall what cooking style we opted for) the filet was butter soft and melted in your mouth.
I CAN'T believe I waited so long to try The Little Dipper, and I can't wait to introduce TLD to my family, friends, coworkers, and clients in the very near future.

My only complaint is they are closed Sunday and I would love a location closer to midtown/MJ/Pine Valley, because I CANNOT GET ENOUGH!! <3”

“We stopped by at 7pm on a Friday night spur of the moment with my special needs child in tow. Although they were busy and there was a wait for a table the staff looked after us quite well and made sure we were comfortable while we waited. They took an interest in my child and made us feel very welcome. The food was amazing. The restaurant was super clean. The menus are clearly marked. I overheard the staff being cautious about an allergen for a family near our table. The wait staff triple checked to make sure everything was safe. We added to our order twice and added an additional $10 tip at the end of our meal (it was that good). I wish they had more room for additional tables because they would be FULL every night. Cannot wait to bring my husband here the next time we’re ready for some sushi and Thai!”

She picked out a combination platter that featured succulent pulled pork, tender brisket, and juicy chicken, along with perfectly seasoned sides of mac and cheese and green beans. “Was in NC for the weekend 8/16/24-8/18/24. Saw this restaurant that was walking distance from the hotel. Not knowing what to expect as usually any Me I can food I have ever had here in New England has all tasted the same. Got a plate of nachos and I got something based on a picture on the menu so I’m unsure of the name but it was 2 slices of bread with shredded steak and it came with a small bowl of broth and a piece of meat (like an au jus gravy) for dipping. BEST nachos my wife and I ever had hands down. Every nacho on the plate was covered not just on top. My sandwich type item was great too especially with the broth. And like some other reviews have said just the plain tortillas given with each meal are great, the dip is mild and I can taste that it had a taste of paprika in it which is a magical ingredient. I never leave reviews but for this place I had to.”

I used them for my wedding desserts and got 6 flavors of croissants, cake balls, white wedding cake and a 15 layer caramel cake. Several people told me it was the best wedding cake they have ever had. My only regret is not getting more croissants because they were gone SO FAST - people are still talking about them! Not only was the quality of everything amazing (as it always is when I'm just visiting the store), but everyone was so kind and helpful. I did several tastings and this one was by far the best (in flavor and service), they have so many options, are super customizable, have a reliable staff - truly everything you could want in a local bakery or a wedding vendor!”

“I love to dine at Texas Roadhouse, it's great almost always. Lately though we've been getting it to go because I'm disabled and I hate to get in people's way; hopefully I'll be fixed soon but what I've found really aggravating is getting all the way home to find the order isn't all there. Granted we should have checked it before we left but we shouldn't have to and as is normal, you all were packed and we didn't want to keep anyone waiting. It is disappointing though especially when I'm paying the same price as if I were sitting down enjoying myself, tip too. Maybe the people doing to go orders could just check behind themselves, it sure would be nice when you have a to go order and you live 30 miles away. We're all human and we all make mistakes as well, so I know we'll be back!!”
