“I really enjoy this place! I haven't tried everything on the menu but I do have a few choice favorites! The Pittsburgh Steak Salad with the lemon vinaigrette is top notch, as well as the Jail Bird Jerky and the Ruben Croquettes!! The drinks are super good, if you are a light weight, then you'll be good off of one. If you're a heavy weight, then you'll probably be good off of two, lol!!! I definitely recommend this spot.“
“Johnny B's recieves high scores all round during our maiden visit owing to its wonderful staff epitomized by Gina (our server), fantastic setting that is spick and span, coupled with fair prices for various homemade delicacies! It goes without saying then that each mouthful of the grilled cheese, lasagna and chicken pie left nothing but sweet memories.The pork tenderloin sandwich lacked the taste of an Indiana pork tenderloin. I'm still looking for a good one. Thanks largely to receptiveness of Gina, who ensured everything ran smoothly hence meriting average score of 4.5 stars we will be back!“
“This was for a carry out order I called in.The omelet I got for my husband was very good. I got a club sandwich. The sandwich tasted very good but toast was a little soggy. The service was excellent! The food was ready very quickly. I will commend the staff. They were very friendly and very helpful especially the young man that helped me.“
“Good...... I waited until I had been here a few times, before doing this review. My first experience made me mad and I went out the door without eating. I met their drill sergeant. Yes they have one. And it was her primary concern to get me in, dish me food and say next... I saw this And saved myself the experience.However, I have eaten here three or four additional times now. The sergeant is not always in charge of the cafeteria line, I am pleased to report. The food on the buffet line is always good. Is definitely hot and fresh.The service is always good.But this restaurant is definitely set up the handle volume. I always feel like I have moved a little farther up north when I eat here. That's not always a bad thing when you wanna get in and out of a restaurant. But this wouldn't be the restaurant that I would want to go to, to have a casual sit down relaxing meal. It is generally busy & hustling. Although at some portions of the day this might be much different. The price is mehhh. Yes, mehhh. Not wonderful. Not unacceptable.Positives: They have little amenities on the table like BlackBerry jelly and Honey. The waitresses in general seem very personable. They serve breakfast to order, all day. And it is good. I really love a spinach and feta & cheese omelet. And theirs is no exception. The portions are good. I wish they had a 4.3 ... Four seems a little underrated but that's where I rank it. Not a 5. I haven't tried their hamburger yet. Next visit I will report on that.“
“We have eaten here for more than 30 years. The food and service is usually very good. Today we ordered a burger in a basket, chicken philly, house salad and onion rings. The paper bag with condiments, onion rings and salad was full of ranch dressing that had been spilled into it. There was no container for the ranch inside the bag, this was just a paper bag of ranch dressing with the onion rings and salad containers sitting in it. The dressing was oozing out of the bottom of the paper bag and leaking all over the plates in the larger plastic bag. The restaurant was very busy with no empty seats, so we are assuming someone accidentally spilled the ranch and was distracted during the clean up or someone else finished filling the bag. After we threw away some stuff, and cleaned up what we could, the food inside the plates was very good.“
“We had lunch on a Thursday, around 1:15pm. We were seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and courteous and answered questions about the menu.I was hoping for some Southern comfort foods (open faced roast beef sandwiches, chicken fried steak or chicken with gravy, squash casserole, sweet potato casserole) but we manage to find several delicious items to choose from.I had the "small" order (three!!) of pork chops and the broccoli casserole. Very tasty.My son had a burger and hush puppies and he said they were excellent.My other son had the fried catfish and WOW. I'll be going back for that. Three perfectly cooked, salt&pepper catfish filets, so fluffy they almost floated away. DELICIOUS ?AND, he got a side of fries, Greek style, with feta, dill, and lemon juice and a side of tza-tziki for dipping. It sounds crazy but it was crazy-good. TRY THEM!!I'd like to go back on a Friday/Saturday and try the prime rib, too. It's only available those days.Would definitely recommend the catfish, and maybe more. Good first impression.“
“I love this little place. They have a little of everything for everyone. I've had their Greek platter a couple of times, and it's really good. When I want a fried seafood platter, I'll come here instead of the seafood restaurants near me. We usually go every couple of weeks.“

“Had wings here and they were okay. The wing skin needed to be crispy. They feel too soft that the texture almost feels like you’re taking a bite of uncooked chicken. The loaded fries were amazing though. Waldo’s, please add a little more salt or flavor to the wings and crisp it up so tastes like perfection. On the other hand, the waiters were so kind and helpful.“
“Ate here with 6 other coworkers during lunch rush on a Friday and got our food in a timely manner considering how busy they were. Great food and will definitely be back our server was very attentive and kept our drinks full! I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with fries and an extra side of mac & cheese.“
