“Quaint little place serving coffee, craft beer, wine, and sweets. Comfortable atmosphere to just sit and sip with friends. Didn't try any food so could not rate cookies etc. but it looks good. Parking is mostly street with a couple of small lots close by with a space or two available to patrons. Love it's name too!“

“The Quiet Pint is our go-to dinner spot around town! The food and service are always consistent, and we love to take visitors here for a casual bite that is sure to please! My go-to dish is the loaded black bean cake, which is always perfectly crisp and topped with fresh toppings. There is something on the menu for everyone, from burgers to street noodles to loaded mac-and-cheese. There is a covered outdoor area, an open outdoor area, and a smaller indoor bar area. The vibe is perfect for drinks, watching a game, or a chill dinner!“

Gatsby's Pub Pubs • $
1157 Burke St, Winston-Salem

“Twice now, I've been invited by friends to Gatsby's Saturday nights for karaoke and each time I've had a blast both performing for the crowd of bar goers as well as encountering endless, encouraging individuals while doing so. The "dive-bar" doesn't take long to get jam-packed (if it isn't already upon arrival), so if its applause and/or interaction with others from various walks of life is what you seek then look no more because Gatsby's delivers and then some! From rowdy college students to the fully-grown and mature, this "hole-in-the-wall" attracts them ALL every single weekend (Fridays & Saturdays). From the well-seasoned singers & crooners to the silly, drunken socialites just up for laughs, the karaoke microphone within Gatsby's never disappoints amusement!! But don't take my word for it! Come on down to this downtown hot spot to enjoy cutting loose with an always embracing, diverse crowd without breaking your wallet. There's no admission, the drinks are always affordable, the staff remains cool and collected, and even the security remains social! Parking can be a bit of a chore, depending on when you arrive... but I promise you once you're inside Gatsby's it'll all be worth the visit.“

Burke St Pub Bar • $
1110 Burke St, Winston-Salem

“Definitely a cool dive bar type spot in the heart of winston-salem. I was staying overnight and went there based on other reviews that I had saw. The guy that served me behind the bar was really cool and chill to talk to. I don't recall his name but he's been there for quite a few years. When I first went in there was me and maybe three other people in there but by the time the game was over the college crowd started to pour in. Lively spot in a good place to go. Drink prices for reasonable and even the patrons that I was around were very friendly. Another bartender came in later in the evening I'm guessing to provide additional coverage for the crowd. She was pretty friendly as well and I'd go back just for her lol!“

“How can I start? First it's absolutely breathtaking inside and out. History, charm, warmth permeate this well kept establishment. I was blown away by the decor through out this bar. I felt like I was back in a time of high class . But, the warmth and charm of another country. Maybe England or, Ireland. Just really beautiful decor inside and out. The bartenders, people, Vibe are excellent!“

Carlisle's Pub Bar • $
1314 S Hawthorne Rd, Winston-Salem

“This place is fun. A dive bar but OUR dive bar that fits nicely into the Ardmore neighborhood. The bartenders are always on top of things. Weeknights are laid back and a great place to meet neighbors and their dogs. The weekends are shall we say lively but if things get to loud there is an outdoor seating area out front.“

“An underrated gem of Winston! The bartender Justin poured great drinks and also worked with customers to make sure they got home safely when some had indulged in a few too many. Very nice to find a bartender who cares and isn't interested in free pouring to get better tips. ?“

Reboot Arcade Bar Bar • $
534 N Liberty St, Winston-Salem

“We had a great time playing video games and pinball and would return. My husband and I stopped in during a date night and really enjoyed all the games available to play. The night we were there they (inexplicably) had a band getting ready to play. They might have been amazing, but it just felt off and we cut our time shorter than expected and headed out once they got started. We would definitely go back, and even take our kids, I would just avoid any time they have a band playing. The bartender and other staff were very kind and helpful. Side note: Parking is kind of a situation here, so definitely plan on driving around a while to look for a spot.“

The Wrong Number Bar •
408 W 4th St, Winston-Salem

“Bartender was awesome, an absolute doll! She made us a few drinks that were very tasty! (12/8/23) I don't remember the names, but off of the cocktail menu. One was misspelled because the font was really hard to read. They also had a piano player in the evening, who was fantastic! ❤️ It segued into karaoke as it got later, which isn't really out thing, but we still popped back in and had fun.“
